βLots of low priced hardware and tools. Slow checkout as cashiers attempt to sell customers on memberships and extended warranties. Difficult to get back on to the busy road.β

i stopped into Grainger today and thought it looked nice. The one problem they have though?everything is over priced- and I mean everything. Nice store, ok customer service (i walked around for 1/2 hour before a salesperson asked if I needed help) Other than the great selection of steel toed shoes and boots I probably won t be returning- the Prices are just way way TOO high. Harbor Freight Ace and HD have much lower prices.β

that Home Depot doesn't stock, only plastic. Everytime I go in Sine I come out with correct part. In and out fast. I grew up with ACE Hardware was my dad's go to place the one by our house even sold guns. My dad bought my brother a .22 Remington rifle in 1964 at ACE for 12.00 and ammo was .25 a box. So for our family ACE is the place for 65+ years and hopefully take of my kids families for next 60 years.β

Learned so much about welding with the online classes to the hands on experience. Im excited to do more qualifications with Nathan. Vern lewis is a great supply shop with a edcuated staff. βIn the process of replacing the pull out spray hose on my Blanco kitchen faucet, I needed to replace the fiber washer seal at the connection under the sink. After stopping at a number of places to locate the needed part, Paul at Standard Plumbing Supply in Peoria, was extremely helpful yesterday working through my problem. They were out of stock on the actual item I needed but he came up with an alternative solution using a thick rubber washer which solved my problem. None of the other 3 or 4 places I had stopped at offered any potential solutions. The part was only a 50 cent item but Paul's dedication to helping me was priceless.β
