Primp and Proper Dog Grooming

Love the communication from the groomer if there are questions etc. The owner is very accommodating and sweet. My hope is that our groomer stays here a long time. Easy 5 stars. Piper says hi :)

We adopted a 2 year old lab and did the standard training from Petsmart that we did with our first dog. We were dealing with a much greater task getting an adult dog. Otto used to react to everything, and he was loud. I adopted this dog under the guise that he was “quiet” but he had a serious barking problem. After a thorough assessment she picked up that he had anxiety through a lot of his cues. We did some private sessions, and two rounds of group training with Legend Acres. She also helped us determine what kind of medication he may need. Otto is such a happy and relaxed boy now and we understand him so much better. He used to have barking fits 10-15 times a day and it brought us tremendous anxiety. We worked with him a lot. He now barks maybe 1-2 times a day and he is just happy as can be. It took a while but it was worth the effort and I love that Legend Acres provides a very fear-free approach. I cannot be more grateful to Kristy, Carmen and the whole team at Legend Acres. They have helped us form such a bond with our boy and eliminated so much stress from our lives.

It was my first time coming in and I was drawn to this place because I work with kids with autism and love being able to support them. It was awesome to have so many friendly faces and such a warm welcome. I tried two botanical teas, Peach and the blueberry. Both very refreshing and sugar free. I also tried the sourdough apricot pop tart which they offered to warm up for me. It was soooooo delicious. 10/10. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I will absolutely be back. 👍🏻

14010 N Litchfield Rd Ste 212, SurpriseMy wife and I stopped by Quench Taps & Tapas and had a fantastic experience. We each ordered an Old Fashioned, and both were outstanding. Cindy's Chocolate Coffee Old Fashioned was rich and unique without being overly sweet, while my Honey Rosemary Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced with great flavor.
We also shared the Tropical Mango Habanero wings, which were excellent. The sweetness of the mango paired perfectly with the habanero heat, making them some of the better wings we've had in a long time.
Everything we tried was well-prepared, flavorful, and served with great attention to detail. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend! ???

If not for his stand, for a great Chicago style hot dog I’d drive to places located further away. Unique soft drinks. I’m fond of the cream soda he has. Chips available; no french fries. For a quick bite you can grab it here. Reasonable prices. $8 for a hot dog + chip & drink. I spend a little more for a jumbo hot dog.

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream
15240 N Cotton Ln #108, SurpriseI can definitely see why National Geographic has ranked Handel's as the best ice cream shoppe. I was initially skeptical, but it's the real deal. The ice cream was incredibly creamy, smooth, and absolutely delicious. The flavors tasted rich and homemade, and the portions were huge—especially considering the fair prices.
The service was a little average overall, but the employee who took our order was exceptionally patient while we decided, which I really appreciated.
If you're looking for high-quality ice cream with generous portions and great value, Handel's absolutely lives up to the hype. I'll definitely be back.
Note: Photos are not the best, as all the majority of the ice cream was consumed before I had a chance to take good photos. It's that good.

Best pizza I’ve had since Jersey and Jersey makes the best pizza in the world. Says a whole lot for how good the pizza was. Atmosphere cleanliness throughout the entire restaurant and the bathrooms. The kids corner, quality of food, quantity of food and kindness of the Owner cannot even be judged by five. Stars should be 50 stars. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone who wants a great pizza and a great experience to come see Eric in Surprise at AZ Pizza.
Love the bathroom decor, and the kids Zone so much thought and love went into this family owned restaurant establishment.

Springer Clan Standard Poodles
26003 N 155th Ave., SurpriseI have owned 4 standard poodles. I have loved them all. I find it very difficult to find a breeder after I loose one of my beloved dogs. I am often told if you want a standard poodle west of the Mississippi to call one individual. While I have done that and she is a very nice lady what they should say is if you’re looking for a show dog call that lady. I want a real dog. A companion. After I lost my 12 year old a couple of old dog loving friends suggested Springer poodles. I described myself to them and they found a dog that exceeded every expectation I or anyone could have. I never thought I could care for a dog more than my first but I have been proven wrong. My pup from Springer is now 3.5 years old and is wonderful. Healthy, intelligent, easy to train to do all the things I require e.g. heeling off leash, recall, hiking the trails, beach excursions. His personality is wonderful. He has to things he does best love both people and dogs and play with either. I can commend Springer Poodles as an excellent choice if you are a committed poodle owner seeking a new companion.
