“Barnes & Noble at Tempe Marketplace is simply fantastic! As a visitor from Chile, I was impressed by the huge selection of books across every genre, all neatly organized and easy to browse.
I visited on the last day of May 2026 looking for Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. The staff member who helped me, a kind older gentleman with glasse, seemed to have an entire library in his head. He guided me straight to the right section among countless authors and titles. Unfortunately, the book was sold out, probably because of its popularity.
However, he recommended a beautiful exclusive leatherbound edition that included both Jurassic Park and The Lost World, which I ended up purchasing. I also picked up a bestselling novel by Keigo Higashino as a gift from my girlfriend.

“Excellent bookstore. Very good prices on used books. Always stocked with the newest hot books, too. We went to David Sedaris' event and were among the last of a large crowd to get our books signed. He stopped to chat briefly with everyone, so we all got a memorable moment. He apparently drew something in every book he signed. Really fun for everyone.”
