“The torque converter went bad in my 2008 Silverado with a cammed 5.3. I took it to Ryan and he rebuilt the 4l60e using all of the parts he thought would work well with the performance mods on the truck. The truck drives and shifts so nice now!Install was done very nice. He even did some exhaust work to make the trans more serviceable in the future. I will definitely be bringing any future transmission work to Ryan at Hayes.”

“Brought my car in because I was smelling gas. They couldn’t find any kind of leak but notice I had a check engine light on so told me it would be 189 for that and weren’t sure if I could roll the price in to the repair. But I said go ahead with it. They ended up not seeing any evidence of the leak. They thought maybe it was due to having low oil in my engine. They ended up topping off the oil, resetting the code for me and completely waved the fee!
They also found a few other issues and they sent me a detailed text, showing me pictures of all of them. I told them this was my backup car since my main car was in the shop and knowing that they advised me how much they thought it would be to fix all the issues and that they didn’t think it was worth it.
I appreciated them, not just trying to get me to fix things for a car I barely drive.
Overall, great experience very positive. I left feeling good. Highly recommend you check them out!”

“This is going to be my go to shop in the valley from now on.
I have a high roof camper van with a number of mods, it can be tough to find shops that can work on this vehicle at all. I brought my van in for an oil change and diagnostic of a burning smell that I believed was coming from a differential leak. Martin and his team were able to identify a leak that I had in the power steering which likely caused the leaking differential in the first place. The team fixed up my rack and pinion and differential, and were able to find an alignment shop that could handle height of my vehicle as well.
Had a couple of headaches with back-and-forth at the alignment shop which delayed my vehicle getting back to me. No one's fault, but Martin hooked me up with a discount, stayed late so I could pick up my vehicle after closing time, and comped the oil change which I very much appreciated.”

I was in Tempe from out of town when my wife’s 2014 Ford Flex started throwing a charging-system warning. The battery and alternator had both been replaced recently, and another test had actually shown both of them as good, so this wasn’t an obvious problem.
These guys took the time to actually diagnose the issue instead of just throwing parts at the car. They found connection issues, corrected them, and when the warning unexpectedly returned after I left, they got me right back in and kept digging. Ultimately, they discovered that the recently replaced alternator was intermittently failing—something that wasn’t showing up consistently on the earlier tests.
That’s what impressed me most: they didn’t guess, they didn’t brush me off, and they didn’t stop at the first answer. They stayed with the problem until they found the real cause.
Being more than 100 miles from home with a vehicle having electrical problems is stressful enough, especially when you’re trying to figure out whether it’s safe to make the drive back to Tucson. These guys treated me like my problem mattered, worked quickly, communicated with me, and got a new Ford alternator installed so I could get home safely.
As a small-business owner myself, I pay attention to how businesses treat people when things don’t go perfectly. This is exactly how customer service should be done.
If I lived in the Tempe area, these guys would have earned my business permanently.

“This place is pleasant to wash my vehicles at, they have everything you could possibly need to get the job done. If you so happen to leave your consumables at home like your armor all, they have vending machines to pull out small quantities. The prices aren't bad. For being a self car wash, its a little pricey. But it's kept neat and clean and there's ample room to get around with my trailer, only if you choose the lane far to the right. If you pull in with your trailer on the far left lane, you will regret it, I guess you can back up. They also have air dryer, I don't use it but I do see many that do, seems to work just fine.”
