“Called and asked about availability of a very expensive pill, the pharmacist was extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be filling some of my prescriptions here when I get a chance. Update: this is hands down the best pharmacy I've ever been to. “I’ll never use a chain pharmacy ever again. I already only use “mom and pop” locally owned pharmacies, I try to use local whenever possible but for pharmacies I’ll ONLY go local. I’ve tried 4 or 5 locally owned pharmacies over the years and Westside takes 1st place every time! They know me, my medical history, what’s worked for me in the past, and the wait is almost nonexistent. I can hand them a script (not that we use paper scripts much these days anyways but for the sake of this one example, I had a paper script from the ER one particular day), I didn’t want to get out of the car so I used the drive through, fully loaded expecting them to ask me to pull around until I got a “it’s ready” text. After a minute or so and no request to pull around, I asked if they’d like me to pull around so they could help the car behind me, and John (who I’m fairly certain is the owner but he’s an amazing pharmacist), “nope, we’ve got you ready right here”. There have been times when my provider called in a medication that would cost me $100 out of pocket, so my pharmacist called my provider, my provider switched me to something comparable and I paid a copay of $4, instead of $100. He probably would have made more money giving me the more expensive medication, but they put their patients first and are SO EASY to work with.
And if they are busy, their shop is SO CUTE and has the best scented candles, I love walking into the shop because of how good it smells in there. I’ve bought several items from the shop for myself as well as gifts for others. Between the cute gifts and the cards, you’re going to find SOMETHING you just have to have!!

“We used to use Walgreens and we took a chance with Heartland RX because Walgreens standard of care was lacking and they were taking too long to get what my wife needed even though it was time sensitive.
When you call Heartland RX, they answer the phone every time. No annoying automations. Without ever being a customer, they helped me find what we needed and put in an order for us before we could get a prescription sent over by the doctor.
We are very grateful to have found this pharmacy. You can tell that they actually care about you and your needs and that makes a huge difference. Don't hesitate to make the switch if you're still using a big box pharmacy.”

“I was at the Springdale Sam's yesterday with my sister. I asked an associate by the name of Betsy for some help in the shoe area. She went through multiple boxes checking sizes and trying to locate a missing shoe from a pair. She went above and beyond in taking time to assist us. On my way out, I stopped and spoke to a manager to share what excellent service we had received from Betsy. It was nice receiving such great service !”

“Last week I had my first infusion ever. I was in horrible pain walking in and was dreading sitting there for an hour. The pain calmed down and it ended up being okay. The massage chair was nice esp since I was hurting. They provided drinks and small snacks if I wanted. And offered to adjust the room temp to my liking. After the infusion was over the lady doing it spent a good 15 mins talking to me about my condition and that felt above and beyond. She was lovely and I was glad to know ill be not just going to get the infusions alone but I'll be seeing the same person each time making comfort much easier to achieve. The only thing I would suggest for patients is maybe a sound machine providing some quiet relaxing zen like music. But that's just an idea thats the only thing I imagined being nice to have while I was there. But I was in pain and probably needing to calm down more than most. And it's not a hotel or anything so I understand it not being realistic to provide ppl with things that aren't necessary. All in all tho I'm super satisfied with my experience. Especially bc of the woman (wish I could remember ner name) taking care of me. Good job taking care properly plus adding personal conversation that makes a difference. Looking forward to my next visit. It's almost a nice little break from life for an hour.”

Fun experience though, just make sure you know what you generally want before going in.”

“Walmart neighborhood Martz or small marks as I call them have been around for a long time. This one does a pretty good job. The fresh departments look good produce looked exceptional Dairy and the Maude Bakery look good everything in the store looked clean and fresh with a lot more selection than I expected but they have a very clientele so that accounts for some of that. Overall it looks good”

Tom didn’t just scan items; he made real conversation and treated us like people instead of a transaction. He acknowledged that I was clearly over 21 before I pulled my ID, which felt refreshingly normal in a system that’s become overly rigid and scripted.

“I went to CVS for years, my prescriptions always took days to fill, always! I finally got fed up and moved all my prescriptions to Walgreens, wow, was that a mistake. They were even worse, I didn't think that was possible. I always drove by Heartland but for some reason I never considered them. I went in for some dental work and they needed to call in a couple of prescriptions, I voiced my concern about the delay in gettingthem filled, they recommended Heartland so I said OK. I called them as I was leaving, they said my prescription would be ready in 10 minutes, so I drove straight there. It was just down the street so I anticipated having to wait awhile. I walk through the door, gave them my info and it was already ready, I couldn't believe it. The following day I anxiously called and moved all of our prescriptions to Heartland. It has been close to two years now and they have never disappointed me. Always fast, they send me a text when they are ready for pickup, they are always pleasant. They call when I am out of refills and sometimes I do have to follow up with my doctor but I am confident my doctors office is the one dropping the ball not them. I would not entertain moving our prescriptions for any reason, they are lightyears better than anyone around.”
