Scruffy Tail Pet Food & Supplies Ltd The
45800 Promontory Rd Unit 104, ChilliwackMy favourite pet store! The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the selection is fantastic , they carry some pet brands you don’t often find elsewhere (we are big fans of Tom & Sawer). I especially love that it’s a local business. I’d much rather support Scruffy Tail than any big chain store in the area. Go Scruffy Tail, woohoo!

Dogfather
9701 Menzies St, ChilliwackI just brought my dog for the first time. She’s absolutely terrified of having her nails cut (to the point previous places I’ve brought her told me they couldn’t do it because of how squirmy she is), and Randy was able to get it done in 5 minutes. He did an excellent job, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Pet Sitting & Training

Posh Paws City Kennel
8520 Broadway, ChilliwackMy 7 month old puppy has been coming here for 2 months since I got him once or twice a week. He loves it, and it has helped with his socialization and attachment.
The staff is great, everyone knew who my dog was the first time I came to pick him up. They put me at ease when I was a new nervous dog dad, and still give updates on how his day went. Now I don't worry about him at all when he is there for the day. The late pickup lets me have a bit of a life on occasion too and the kennels are warm and comfy.
Great place and Staff.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Farmhouse Brewing Co.
6385 Lickman Rd, ChilliwackWe went with the kids and some friends on a busy Saturday night. We were seated very quickly for a party of 7. The food came out quickly as well and was delicious. The cheese pizza was well received by the kiddos and the Chook pizza was delicious. I tried a flight of the seasonal sours and enjoyed all four. Will definitely be back again.

The Wack - Kitchen & Commissary
44610 Luckakuck Way, ChilliwackAfter a round of golf, I ordered a burger without much expectation. What arrived, however, was nothing short of a surprise. I found myself wondering how a place so unassuming could create something so remarkably good. I would highly recommend their smash burgers or the chicken burger.
At every level, there is a quiet intentionality in how the food is prepared. They take the extra step to brine the chicken and bread, fry, and season to order. Each element feels considered, from the soft, squishy potato buns to the house-made pickles. It is evident that the chefs carry experience from kitchens far more refined than the modest setting suggests.
I have tried many of the trendy fried chicken and smash burger spots across Vancouver, yet it is these sandwiches that continue to call me back. There is something honest and deeply satisfying with their no frills just substance take.
Based on past reviews and photos, it seems the ownership may have changed a couple of years ago. Whatever the reason, something special has taken root. I cannot recommend this humble little spot highly enough.

Bow & Stern Chilliwack
46130 Yale Rd, ChilliwackThe sauce on the mussels was some of the best I have had in the world. The building is amazing. Great lighting wonderful chairs INCREDIBLE Brussels sprouts. Chef(s) clearly at the top of their game.
Management needs to work on educating and enthusing the staff about this incredible place they work and the food they serve, though. As my date said it was all like they were in protective zoned out bubbles of their own. The guy who brought our oysters did not know what the sauces were. Our waitress did not know anything about District 1881. The bartender was so intent staring at the sports on the television that he gave us a hard cold shoulder on our way past and didn’t wish us a good night... small things maybe but sure change the pkeasure of digesting your food. I would say hire people who love food and are interested in the clients, and/or make a policy so staff taste and love the menu and run a Dale Carnegie or other workshop so they can learn to enjoy the people they serve.
Top notch food and atmosphere, will be happy to come back and see if the management ups the hospitality game too. This District 1881 restaurant deserves the best.
