Mud Bay
626 Haggen Dr, BurlingtonLittle disappointed in the recommendations given to me. I told the person that my German shepherd mix chews through everything, and I need something super tough. They recommended this ball to me saying it was difficult to get ripped up but still has that soft texture, so I was excited. They also recommended the pupscicle thing for her to be distracted with licking. Within an hour of giving them to her, she had already destroyed them. The ball was EASILY ripped up, and the rubber on the pupsicle was way less durable than any of her other rubber toys. They were mostly nice but I did also feel talked down to like I didn't know how to take care of my dog's needs just because I couldn't remember every single little thing we do to stimulate her.

Belfast Feed Store
6200 N Green Rd, BurlingtonOverall, it looks as if it could use a little TLC...but as far as a local community feed store, it serves our community ? ?

Country Store
1276 S Burlington Blvd, BurlingtonThey are there to help you and have most everything that you would ever need and possibly stuff you don't. They may even be willing to order something you need or want so give them a try and there is a gas station along side that most of the time has someone there to pump your gas. Last month when I got gas all the stations around were above $5.50 when I stopped there at my favorite station it was only $5.24 what a savings.

Julz Animal Houz Burlington
204 Fashion Way, BurlingtonI've never been here, in fact I've never to Burlington (I live in Texas). But I'm throwing 5 stars at this place strictly due to the responses from the owner. Loving the clapbacks - this is how a small business should respond to some of these ridiculous reviews. Go queen, go.
By the way, I found this place from Reddit - the responses have gone viral.

Pet Sitting & Training

Jee Jac Kennels
838 E Gilkey Rd, BurlingtonThis place is great! I ran into a last minute pup-sitting cancelation, and Jee Jac was available. My weekend was not ruined and my pups got a well needed bath. Nicole's communication was spectacular!

Leader of the Pack Dog Training LLC
12169 Pulver Rd, BurlingtonRobert is very knowledgeable and works directly with you on your concerns each training session. He has helped boost my confidence while I work with my dog, and helped explain the reason behind my dog’s bad behaviors. It was a relief to have a trainer that did not immediately jump to using a shock collar (when it’s not necessary) and who is able to give me manageable steps to being a better pet parent.

Train Wreck Bar & Grill
427 E Fairhaven Ave, BurlingtonSuch a great find! The food and service were both excellent, and the attention to food allergies was really impressive. The Bloody Mary alone is worth the trip. 10/10 — highly recommend!

The Fairhaven
100 N Burlington Blvd, BurlingtonI drive 45 minutes to eat here. The food is that good! The place is very small so seating is limited inside and when the weather is nice, they have a great outdoor seating area that is dog friendly! The food is super fresh and of the highest quality. I had the Bahn Mi salad with a sesame soy chicken thigh and it was delicious! My only complaint is that I have to drive so far to get their amazing food!

5 Rosas Salvadorean & Mexican Food
633 E Fairhaven Ave, BurlingtonJust discovered my new favorite spot in the area, and wow, it does not disappoint! ? Stopped by today on a whim. The pupusas are incredible, especially with that fresh slaw and tangy salsa. The quesadillas are perfection, the quality of meat is SO good, and the drinks, horchata and champurrado especially, were delish. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back!

Tacos Tecalitlan

Whidbey Coffee
1960 Marketplace Dr, BurlingtonWe visited Whidbey Coffee in Mount Vernon. We ordered an almond milk iced latte. It was pretty good and rich! Their savory food options, like burritos and sandwiches, are relatively simple and available grab-and-go. The coffee shop itself is super spacious with great natural light and a comfy couch area. It also has a sizable outdoor seating area with a fireplace. It's a great place to work or study!
