The store is clean, well organized and stocked with foods and supplies you don’t always find in the big box chains. Prices are fair and the personal service is honestly worth every penny.
It feels good supporting a small business that treats both pets and customers with respect. Highly recommend stopping in - you’ll notice the difference right away!
NOTE: In Google, the pictures show the store being in Seven Oaks Mall. They moved from that location 2 years ago to their location on Ware Street (2 mins away).

1900 N Parallel Rd Unit 120, AbbotsfordIt’s hard to put in words what the team at Ellwood has done for me. But I will try. I had an exotic animal in need of immediate help. I was calling around and nobody could help or wanted to help me. It was a very heartbreaking experience how nobody cared. Ellwood doesn’t even do exotics and they called me back with suggestions and possible solutions. I was not a customer, just some guy calling around desperately. They seen how much I cared and they were the only ones that cared back. They are the only ones that cared that my animal needed help and I couldn’t wait for scheduled upcoming appointment days away.
Their heart is in the right place, and they do what they do for the animals and the people that love them, one would think that is common, but it’s not.
Thank you Ellwood for restoring my faith in people. That means more to me than the help you provided me.

I treated myself to a slice of chocolate cake that was absolutely delicious, and it was served with a simple wooden fork. Everything tasted so fresh. I also enjoyed a coffee that had a beautiful heart design in the foam. It was a lovely touch that really brightened my afternoon. I will definitely be coming back again soon.
