“My wife and I joined friends at a rental in the area and went to La Casa for lunch and a few refreshments.
What an excellent meal! Two for one burgers were the daily special and we promptly ordered. The chef was very nice and explained to us how he prepares the burgers. When they arrived, I was impressed by the size of the burger and how fresh the bun and lettuce and tomato appeared.
I was a little worried though as I am going through chemotherapy and almost all foods taste like soap and I rarely eat out now.
Not these burgers! Absolutely delicious!
This is a must do if you are in the area!

“Delicious and such nice people! Outside aesthetics can be deceiving but a hidden gem. The girl cooking was super knowledgeable and you could tell she really cared about the food she was preparing.
We are a family of 6 and had 3 chicken parm subs, poutine, chicken burger and fries. So good and very generous portions.
Highly recommend this for an awesome lunch. Or breakfast….the scones were ??”

“We live in Westbank, across Okanagan Lake from the Safeway Pharmacy in Kelowna.
We have been using the services of Safeway’s downtown Kelowna Pharmacy since moving to the area in 2010.
Yes, there are many pharmacies on our side of the lake, but the downtown Safeway Pharmacy has served us well. The staff goes out of their way to do all they can to take care of our needs.
Today, for example, I had a new prescription that needed to be filled. Just after leaving my doctor’s office, I called Safeway and asked if they have received the fax from my doctor. The pharmacist checked and the prescription request was there. She checked to see if the medication was on site and said that she would processes the request. It would be available in 30 minutes. As I was in the neighborhood this would save me a trip across the lake.
This is the type of service we have consistently received for the downtown Kelowna Safeway Pharmacy.

“My favorite grocery store in Kelowna. I never get hassled paying with Google Wallet like some of the competitors in this town that impose ridiculously low restrictions on transactions. Strange thing to do in a period of expensive groceries. Some might say this store is more expensive than others judging from some other reviews I have read. Though I don't do much price comparisons, the shopping experience here is superior to most stores, likely worth any premium if any.”

“IGA is a small shop in our plazza.
But even though is small, they sale the best white bread I ever had so far.
Did you know that they also make white bread with sesame seeds on top? It's delicious ... yummy.
As you enter the store, the first thing you notice is that they are well organized and very clean. The stuff is short, but very friendly. We go there mostly for bread, but many times leave the store with meat on sale and other goodies.
Once, I had to call the store in relation to an item (something they weren't aware of) . They offered replacement and money back right away. I didn't want that, but I really appreciate their accountability right up front.
Keep up the good work.”

“Costco is Costco, good prices on great stuff. Like many Costco's, this place is swamped on weekends and after work on weekdays. There is a reason for that. also has food court, optician, tire center and pharmacy inside. Gas station is down the block.”
“I had to take a min to give a good review. I recently took a trip to Kentucky and let me tell you, the people are so kind and relaxed.. not what I expected. I came back to the reminder of how impatient and rushed people are in BC. I have been putting my wallet away and had people reach over me to start to deal with the cashier. I have been bummped by a cart and rushed in every store I go to... But the last few times at superstore they have been so lovely... they talk to me like I am a human and I'm not a product to rush through. Today was Carol.. Thank you!! If others are in a rush that is on them for not planning better... we should be able to say hi, how are you and take our time because for most people this can be their only interaction with others. The human interaction was so much better out there.. they talk to you, and you chat with them as they bag your stuff... you know their name and most times they know you.... they even remembered me and said hi.... Thank you, Superstore, for getting way better in customer care!!!! It's better for the employees and customers.”
