“This place always has a wonderful selection! I usually come here for Faygo (instant 5 star rating for having Faygo alone) but I once got a Sonic energy drink here so that makes it even better! Also everything here is fairly priced”
“My wife and I joined friends at a rental in the area and went to La Casa for lunch and a few refreshments.
What an excellent meal! Two for one burgers were the daily special and we promptly ordered. The chef was very nice and explained to us how he prepares the burgers. When they arrived, I was impressed by the size of the burger and how fresh the bun and lettuce and tomato appeared.
I was a little worried though as I am going through chemotherapy and almost all foods taste like soap and I rarely eat out now.
Not these burgers! Absolutely delicious!
This is a must do if you are in the area!

“Delicious and such nice people! Outside aesthetics can be deceiving but a hidden gem. The girl cooking was super knowledgeable and you could tell she really cared about the food she was preparing.
We are a family of 6 and had 3 chicken parm subs, poutine, chicken burger and fries. So good and very generous portions.

Gina truly went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special. After I placed the cake order and left the store, she called to let me know the printing machine was broken — but she didn’t stop there. She had already come up with several alternative options to make sure we’d still have something beautiful for the big day.
Then later that evening, she called again to let me know they were able to get someone in to fix the machine and she could make the exact cake my daughter wanted!
That level of care and follow-through means so much. Thank you, Gina, for going the extra mile and helping make her birthday perfect”

As we approached the dairy aisle, I’m certain our disappointment was written all over our faces. Enter Cory. Sensing our despair, he asked if he could help, listened to our tragic tale, and then disappeared into the back like a holiday hero. Moments later, he returned triumphant with eggnog fresh off the truck. As if that weren’t enough, he also tracked down the whipping cream we desperately needed. Cory didn’t just save our Christmas plans, he was the Christmas miracle.”

“We live in Westbank, across Okanagan Lake from the Safeway Pharmacy in Kelowna.
We have been using the services of Safeway’s downtown Kelowna Pharmacy since moving to the area in 2010.
Yes, there are many pharmacies on our side of the lake, but the downtown Safeway Pharmacy has served us well. The staff goes out of their way to do all they can to take care of our needs.
Today, for example, I had a new prescription that needed to be filled. Just after leaving my doctor’s office, I called Safeway and asked if they have received the fax from my doctor. The pharmacist checked and the prescription request was there. She checked to see if the medication was on site and said that she would processes the request. It would be available in 30 minutes. As I was in the neighborhood this would save me a trip across the lake.
This is the type of service we have consistently received for the downtown Kelowna Safeway Pharmacy.

“Mike Produce has really transformed over the last 1.5 years. The ownership changed about 4–5 months ago, and you can feel the difference immediately. The atmosphere is great, they’ve added many new products, and the range is much wider now. I always check before buying, and everything is good quality — love their local and organic bananas too! “I wanted to stop supporting Walmart and other massive food corporations so decided to shop local and come here instead. Wow! The prices are comparable to other stores and shopping here is actually enjoyable and it feels good to walk their aisles. Definitely recommend supporting this store rather than the industrial/globalized food giants to keep the money in our communities. Shopping local gives me a sense of agency to change our food system so it feels good to support a local business ☺️”
