Total Pet
1985 Harvey Ave, KelownaTotal Pet is definitely smaller than the other pet stores but I find it is good store. I especially like that they bring in Pampered Pets every few weeks so I can get my dogs teeth cleaned. Best choice ever, getting their teeth cleaned at the vet I was told by the vet was going to be $1700 for one dog. But I had to because being a small dog both my dogs had bad teeth and they smelled awful. After the initial cost for both dogs at Pampered Pets($400) now I come in every 6 months and pay $200 for both dogs to get done, no more bad breath. Thanks Total Pet for easy access to dental for my dogs. Everything there is very clean, the animals and fish look good and there are lots of treats my dogs love. Also, the customer service is great and workers are friendly.

Fairfield Animal Hospital
1987 Kirschner Rd, KelownaMy dog unfortunately is at a palliative stage in life, and has been dealing with issues recurrently. Georgia and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing to deal with. They took great care of Blade and are helping us make him comfortable in his end of life journey. From when we were in clinic to the follow up call after, we were treated with compassion and respect. I am grateful to all the staff for their kindness.

Dogzies Pet Services Inc
506 Groves Ave, KelownaWe have been going to Dogzies Canine School for some classes for our new puppy, Nora! She is doing amazing thanks to the wonderful Dogzies team and their excellent classes in Kelowna. We have been participating at the local Okanagan parks. Nora no longer pulls on her leash when she walks and she is learning to be respectful during meal times. Kandi and Dayna and team have been so helpful in answering extra questions through email and after classes. These behavior classes have been a huge asset to Nora's puppy adventures. We will definitely sign up for more classes! I would highly recommend Dogzies no matter what age your dog is.

Woofy World Kennels & Daycare
4940 Chute Lake Rd, KelownaAs a first-time dog owner, I was hesitant about doggy daycare, but Woofy World Kennels & Daycare made the experience so easy and comforting. They took wonderful care of my 5-month-old pup, Bruce, and he had a blast!
The staff are incredibly kind and caring, and I love seeing Bruce’s excitement every time we arrive. They group dogs by size and temperament, which is perfect for him, and they even post photos throughout the day, which I really appreciate. Thank you for accommodating us :)

Barn Owl Brewing
4629 Lakeshore Rd #102, KelownaI love this little place. It's soo cozy and just lovely! I visited while in Kelowna recently. That Vanilla Chestnut Ale is a thing of Beauty and I'm not an Ale guy. I would like to revisit in the summer and have more of a hazy, creamy IPA, the one or two on tap, weren't for me. But 5* none the less. The staff were friendly & welcoming. We had the pretzel and cured pepp stick which were very nice.
It does get busy, so try to get in before peak times.

Antico Pizza Napoletana
347 Bernard Ave, KelownaIt was really good, my one complaint would be the robot that delivers the pizza. It was super out of place for a cool Italian pizza shop and had loud annoying music that set off the mood. It seemed gimmicky for this style of restaurant.

Sprout Bread
1295 Cannery Ln #125, KelownaGreat little morning cafe in Kelowna, definitely worth a shot and peek when you're there.
Food is ok, had the shakshouka, overall not the best, with way too much sourness and tomato juice, and not enough other veg or flavours to balance it out. Bread paired was ok, but a little on the soft bread side.
Service and atmosphere was great, good service and speedy serving, with atmospheres giving a nice cafe vibe.

SpearHead Winery
3950 Spiers Rd, KelownaSpearhead is a small winery with big success. In 29024, they won NWAC honors as best small winery, AND best winery in Canada. They followed this up with #3 rated small winery in 2025 Awards.
Unfortunately they lost all their vines in the cold snap in January 2024. They have replanted but it will be 6-7 years before they can begin to harvest their own crops. A neighbouring winery was not impacted at all.
In 2024, they bought grapes from Washington State, which they produce under a Two Nations label. This year they are buying grapes from other producers in BC.
The are best known for their Pinot Noir, which we tasted and bought a bottle. Last year we pitched a case of their Pinot.
The tasting area is outside, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
All the best to the Spearhead as they navigate their way through this devastating event.
