“Went in today to pick up a prescription, and I unfortunately am not sure of the pharmacists name, but she was great! They only had the brand name available of the prescription I was getting, which is quite expensive, but she mentioned that there was the possibility of getting it for much cheaper due to a code from the company, or something like that! Sorry, don't completely remember what it was.
But anyway, I got the prescription filled, was surprised to see it only being $30, but didn't realize just how much the pharmacist helped me save until I was in my car, and checked the receipt. She helped me save a whopping $70!!
I'm very grateful, as money is a bit tight right now. Really good customer service, appreciate y'all!

“I've passed by this pharmacy so many times but surprisingly never actually stopped it, which is something I regret I haven't done all these years!
I needed a chicken pox vaccine on a short notice and literally no other pharmacy in town could help me out. After calling around, I spoke with the pharmacist Brett and he was able to order it in and book me in. Following that, he was kind enough to print off my required documents for a US immigration medical exam for my required vaccines.
Plus, this place is locally owned!

Gina truly went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special. After I placed the cake order and left the store, she called to let me know the printing machine was broken — but she didn’t stop there. She had already come up with several alternative options to make sure we’d still have something beautiful for the big day.
Then later that evening, she called again to let me know they were able to get someone in to fix the machine and she could make the exact cake my daughter wanted!

“We live in Westbank, across Okanagan Lake from the Safeway Pharmacy in Kelowna.
We have been using the services of Safeway’s downtown Kelowna Pharmacy since moving to the area in 2010.
Yes, there are many pharmacies on our side of the lake, but the downtown Safeway Pharmacy has served us well. The staff goes out of their way to do all they can to take care of our needs.
Today, for example, I had a new prescription that needed to be filled. Just after leaving my doctor’s office, I called Safeway and asked if they have received the fax from my doctor. The pharmacist checked and the prescription request was there. She checked to see if the medication was on site and said that she would processes the request. It would be available in 30 minutes. As I was in the neighborhood this would save me a trip across the lake.
This is the type of service we have consistently received for the downtown Kelowna Safeway Pharmacy.

“I had the most amazing and life changing experience with this pharmacy in February of 2024.
I required a pain medication as life was very difficult for me at the time. After struggling since September with the pain, I was at in a dark headspace.
The owner of this pharmacy did absolutely the best and everything he could to ensure the timeliness of the delivery and the formula of the medication healed that pain within a month of use.
During that difficult time, I really felt hopeful again by seeing the lengths to which one goes to help others and are moved by hearing that others are in pain and they give their 100% to help. That is a healthcare provider at its finest!
