“The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Lower Mission is a great local pharmacy with friendly, professional, and helpful service. The team is knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to, which makes the whole experience feel personal and stress free. “Went in today to pick up a prescription, and I unfortunately am not sure of the pharmacists name, but she was great! They only had the brand name available of the prescription I was getting, which is quite expensive, but she mentioned that there was the possibility of getting it for much cheaper due to a code from the company, or something like that! Sorry, don't completely remember what it was.
But anyway, I got the prescription filled, was surprised to see it only being $30, but didn't realize just how much the pharmacist helped me save until I was in my car, and checked the receipt. She helped me save a whopping $70!!
I'm very grateful, as money is a bit tight right now. Really good customer service, appreciate y'all!

“I've passed by this pharmacy so many times but surprisingly never actually stopped it, which is something I regret I haven't done all these years!
I needed a chicken pox vaccine on a short notice and literally no other pharmacy in town could help me out. After calling around, I spoke with the pharmacist Brett and he was able to order it in and book me in. Following that, he was kind enough to print off my required documents for a US immigration medical exam for my required vaccines.
Plus, this place is locally owned!

Gina truly went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday special. After I placed the cake order and left the store, she called to let me know the printing machine was broken — but she didn’t stop there. She had already come up with several alternative options to make sure we’d still have something beautiful for the big day.
Then later that evening, she called again to let me know they were able to get someone in to fix the machine and she could make the exact cake my daughter wanted!

“We live in Westbank, across Okanagan Lake from the Safeway Pharmacy in Kelowna.
We have been using the services of Safeway’s downtown Kelowna Pharmacy since moving to the area in 2010.
Yes, there are many pharmacies on our side of the lake, but the downtown Safeway Pharmacy has served us well. The staff goes out of their way to do all they can to take care of our needs.
Today, for example, I had a new prescription that needed to be filled. Just after leaving my doctor’s office, I called Safeway and asked if they have received the fax from my doctor. The pharmacist checked and the prescription request was there. She checked to see if the medication was on site and said that she would processes the request. It would be available in 30 minutes. As I was in the neighborhood this would save me a trip across the lake.
This is the type of service we have consistently received for the downtown Kelowna Safeway Pharmacy.

Instead of having me come back the next day, Jennifer at the cashier counter, went to the back and arranged to have it for me in another 15 minutes or so. We have always been lucky enough to have her when we check out at the counter, and she is always courteous and friendly. Thank you Jennifer for great service.”

“a very pleasant store and also a kelowna landmark really & the customer service is top notch i think they should bring the other locations back personally and also the security guards manning the store are helpful and the cashiers don't rush you to pack everything fast, I handicap so its difficult to meet other stores fast paced and sometimes ride cashiers but safeway just has top notch customer service a real tribute to have such a fantastic market right downtown and they even have a bathroom for customers to use which is pretty ok with how things are generally in the world today, I often go for lunch at their Travellers snack bar where they make really good ambrosia salad and wings and chicken fingers and potato wedges and subs and stuff I think everyone should check out and pretty fair prices the one thing is I need to chat with the manager about bringing in more organic and non GMO foods but thanks safeway team for giving me a chance to review you .....”

“Not a huge shop but has a nice collection of stuff. A passport photo service as well! The cashiers and pharmacy assistants are gentle and helpful. However, keep in mind that filling a new prescription may take up to 30 minutes. Also, most things are a little bit more expensive here than in other stores, even when they are on a discount! So, compare prices before buying if you want the best price. However, you can earn PC Optimum points which can be redeemed later.”
“Recently I was in Kelowna and stopped into this store to buy a few odds and ends. While i was there I thought i would buy some perfume for my girlfriend but I had no idea what’s what. So the lady helped me her name i believe was Natasha or some slavic name like that sorry not quite sure.
