“Don’t waste time at MEC…Coast Sports knows cross country skiing and all of the gear they stock intimately. Don’t guess just spend a couple hundred more and get a setup that will work for you ( and set it up) and people that want to help you find what you think you’re looking for regardless of skill level. My advice let them make the major decisions if you don’t really know yourself. Every manufacturer has their own specifications for sizing and setup?”

“Went during early weekday afternoon and it was not busy. Staff was super attentive. Best prices for dumbbells in the lower mainland. Neoprene dumbbells are $0.60/lb and rubber hex dumbbells are $1.00/lb. Picked up pairs of 5lb and 10lb dumbbells and it came to $18 plus tax. Great price. Will visit again.”

“My Arcteryx Beta AR jacket circa 2011 required some repairs. I was apprehensive to send it in as online reviews indicate warranty based customer service can be hit and miss. I brought the jacket into the Calgary store on Jan 4 and had it repaired, delivered to my house, back in hand by Jan 21. From my vantage point the customer service and repair were both excellent.
If you do have an older Arcteryx jacket that needs repairs, I recommend specifically asking Arcteryx to repair vs replace. Newer Arcteryx products aren't built like they used to be.”

The fit of both are great and they definitely hold up to multiple wearings and washings. I am happy to pay more for ethically made quality clothes, in the long run they last so much longer you get your moneys worth.
