“Showcase is an exciting store as it provides many rare and hard-to-find items that could not be found in similar stores. For example, Reese’s peanut butter is a big surprise to me as it tastes so good and is unavailable in the primary supermarket here in Richmond. And its price is reasonable as well. Furthermore, it has a variety of candies from other Asia countries, which is another pleasant experience for me.Besides candy, it has exciting toys such as the reborn dolls, which is quite realistic to play with, cuddles & snuggles. Neither my daughter nor I am a dolls fan, but this item is handy for nursing practice and fun for kids under six.There are exercise tools too. And they are not from the mainstream list, but they are interesting to try out. For example, there is a 360’ rotating massage exercise hoop with an LED counter (a fun with to work out the abdominal area). Moreover, a massage press allows leg & body massager for a deep massage. It is an exciting design, and it is from a company called Quantum. By the way, there is another item called “Skippee,” an intelligent skipping rope that provides fun and exercise for the whole family.”

“Not so satisfy with the stocking system. I went here twice and both time had hard time finding my stuff in the self serve aisle. The first time I came here for a desk and chair, the desk wasn’t placed where it says on the tag. I have to ask 2 staff in order to find where it supposed to be and turned out it’s out of stock, very confusing. The staffs are very attentive and friendly to help, otherwise I think I would just rate it 3 stars. The first staff looked up in his machine right when I first asked him, then he gave me a new location where to look for; but it wasn’t there and so I have to ask the second staff, and this time he checked in the PC and then walked with us to the location and it was not there too, so he searched around the area and turned out the item was out of stock!! The second time I went there was for a shelf, and the shelf was not at the location as well, and then I had to look around like the second staff did last time in order to find out…I didn’t take photo for the first time coz this is a really rare case that ever happened to me with any other IKEA experience, so I took photo for the second time as a proof!!And I don’t understand why the Salmon dish got sold out at 12:30pm while the shop opens at 10am and it was on a weekday!!”

“Huge store with lots of parking. Store plan is laid out in such a way that once you enter the store, you have to go through every department. Literally you can find any household item here you can think of. Food in Ikea restaurant and fast food stalls is very cheap. Eventhough store is always busy, everything goes very smoothly. Hassle free exchange or itwm returns. Even if you dont have a receipt, as long as you have the debit or credit card you made payment from, no problem.”
