I’ve been into CDs lately so it is nice to get one from the same brand on sale. It helps to notify them ahead of visiting so that they can look into what you need before you arrive. Friendliest and most pleasant staff I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with.”

“Switched to Rogers and got a new device during boxing day promotions. Mani was awesome helping me understand all the different options. Device colour I wanted wasn't in stock, so he ordered it from another location, and it came in within a couple of days. When I went in to pick up, Mani was also really helpful going through my first bill and explaining all the numbers. Highly recommend this location.”

“We had such a great experience with Joe in the photo lab that I wanted to share it here so her customer service can be recognized. We went to renew my passport nearby and was told the photo taken at another LD location had a likely chance of being rejected during the application review. That wasn’t surprising, because I had left the other location feeling negative. The other photo tech seemed indifferent and the process felt rushed.
I was worried I’d have to pay for another set, but Joe immediately put me at ease. She explained the passport requirements and took the time to make sure everything was right before taking the photo. She was extremely patient and helpful, and the photo turned out much better. It passed the initial review with no hesitation.
As it turned out, the person behind us at the passport office had the same issue with photos from another LD location and also had theirs retaken here. After such positive experiences, we know next time this will be our go to for passport photos.”

“One staff member from the photolab, I guess his name is Tim, did a really amazing job helping me.
I went there without any reservations or any photo I submitted before. He told me what to do in a very good manner and even help me to get my photo ready so fast. Initially it should be done the day after, but because I really need it asap, he asked the other member to make it quick.
Also thanks for the manager I guess, cuz he accompanied me to get to the photolab.
Overall really good experience”

“I came for some items with some fear after reading all the bad comments but when I arrived the truth is that the person who helped me was very nice and taught us how to use the products and the advantages of each option without even asking for it, in addition to his dog is adorable. The truth is if you treat him with respect he will do the same with you, I left the store with a good taste in my mouth.”

“I don't usually do reviews, but I really had to give a glowing recommendation to the guys that were at the photo counter this afternoon (Feb 4th). The young fellow who took our photos (I don't remember his name but he is tall and has curly brown hair) was so sweet and kind with my 2-year-old who was having a lots of frightened tears about getting his photo taken. He was very jovial and professional. If a manager is reading this, both guys deserve a bonus/raise!”

I was looking for a glass cleaner product and had been to several different locations with no success before popping into Robson St location. Still not able to see what I was looking for so I went to customer service desk and Voila, Rachel to my rescue. She went on line to see stock availability and found Two stores that had some. She actually called the stores to see if the computer stock was correct and when we were on hold she also told me about a similar product that their store uses for glass cleaner. Then she put them on hold for me. The other location ended up store transferring to the Robson St location for me for convenience. This is when I got to talk to Joe for the first time to congratulate him on his great coworkers. When the items arrived he personally called me , left a message, to advise my delivery was in. When I called back customer service paged him and we spoke again.
Now that’s service with a smile.

“Went in there last night. The store was full of people who clearly had substance abuse issues. They were filling bags and back packs with food and casually walking out of the store without paying. I was shocked. The staff did nothing and told me that paying is optional and if you don't want to pay, then that is fine. People that don't pay are never restrained and are allowed to take as much as they want. While 7-11 is to be commended for their good generosity, how long is this business model sustainable for? I off course paid.”
