“Love this store, I get a ton of compliments on my shoes and where I got them from! The owner and staff are always a delight. I purchased a new pair of shoes back in April that I wore a few times however they had some sort of air pocket that made a weird noise on one side while walking. I went last week to show/discuss this with them, they took a video and got back to me promptly the next day to offer a full refund which I was so impressed by since it was way past the standard store return policy. They stand by the quality of shoes that they sell and are locally owned so I highly recommend them!”

I actually called the store and spoke to a customer service representative, who was physically in the store!! She was so kind and confirmed they had the exact shoes. I received my new Red Wings within a respectable amount of time considering how far they had to fly…. See what I did there? I will definitely be ordering more shoes or accessories from Heart and Sole. All around excellent experience, excellent customer service, and great online store. The website is very easy to navigate. Marilyn was able to discount a pair of shoes that had been priced incorrectly on the shelf, for me.Though it seemed like it had been a long day, she could probably use a paid vacation!I'll be back the next time I need shoes that don't require toe protection.”
“This small store sells “ comfort “ shoes. As a guy this baffles me since I only purchase comfort shoes. For men the selection is not wide but again since they have brown and black, runners and more formal shoes I am covered. So I bought a pair of runners about 4 years ago. I have worn them to work as an electrician since , treated them badly and never wore more comfortable shoes.A year ago I bought another pair , not cheap , but , cleaned and polished , the older shoes and the new ones look the same. They last forever.For women the selection is wider and more stylish but the overall ethos of comfort and quality rules.Do your feet a favour , drop by and surprise yourself , you will be glad you did.”

“Great place to buy First Nation items from native art, trinkets, beautiful hand-carved boxes, t-shirts, bags, jewelry, etc. There are also warm sweaters made by artisans in the different First Nation tribes. We purchased some coasters and lapel pins. If you are in Victoria,B.C. please support local art and indigenous artists. Their prices are fair too.”

Right from the start, Miki was incredibly friendly and attentive, quickly understanding what I was looking for without me having to explain too much. She demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the various shoe brands and styles available, offering suggestions that perfectly matched my needs and preferences.Miki was patient as I had several follow up questions pertaining to various shoe brands. Miki went above and beyond to offer suggestions and assistance to ensure my shoe inquiries were met.What stood out the most was Miki's professionalism and customer-oriented attitude. She was not just there to make a sale, but genuinely interested in ensuring that I left with footwear that I was happy and comfortable with. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated and enthusiastic about their job.I left the store extremely satisfied with my purchases and the outstanding service I received. “Return policy! You can return only eligible items, and even if it is eligible, you never get your money back, can only exchange. I would give less stars only for it, but do not want to get it mixed with the store rating. Used to like them for when you have to buy something not too expensive for an event or even for the office, but probably today was the last time shoppung with them.
First they don't except dress returns, and my dress arrived after event. Anyway, it is nice and I will just wear it for New Year.
But now one can not even retun jacket for example, only exchange it. Not that I do it often, but I like to have the freedom of giving smth back, if after trying it at home or with some accessories it doesn't fit in the end. Or when it arrives too late for the event (more than a week, though the website states 2 business days).”

“With none of the change rooms having mirrors sometimes I feel a little anxious about stepping out in front of people for the first look just incase it doesn’t look right. Robin who works at the Mayfair location made me feel so comfortable with stepping out to use the larger mirrors. She really is the best person for a job like this as she is so friendly and immediately makes it feel like a safe space!”
