“Today I went to my Superstore again to order my meds. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the pharmacist managing it and her dedicated staff. Here are just a few of her qualities: She has the ability to accurately interpret prescriptions, knowledgable, kind, patient and very professional and patient orientated. If you have an allergy to a certain medication and it is prescribed by mistake, she and her team will not fill the prescription. Her team is alert, friendly and very hardworking. I also got the most amazing service from the man at the fish department, I musts have looked surprised, I suppose I was, as good and great customer service is just not a thing of the past. Then to top off the incredible experience when I got to the cashier, wow, I have been taken care of by Leslie a few times, she has the Smile one will never forget and it sends you off in the best mood ever. Thank you Superstore staff, all three department were shining today.”
“The Buffalo soy curl sandwiches bring tears to my eyes. The meatball sub?? I cannot. The pasta bakes??? Did you know you can throw them in the barbecue for camping??? Goddamnit. This place does not miss!! Such a gem, Kelowna isn’t worthy. We need to support and keep them open forever. Love the laidback vibe (again, too good for kelowna and sometimes that works against businesses… Kelowna does not know how to hang). “Delicious and such nice people! Outside aesthetics can be deceiving but a hidden gem. The girl cooking was super knowledgeable and you could tell she really cared about the food she was preparing.
We are a family of 6 and had 3 chicken parm subs, poutine, chicken burger and fries. So good and very generous portions.
Highly recommend this for an awesome lunch. Or breakfast….the scones were ??”
“We live in Westbank, across Okanagan Lake from the Safeway Pharmacy in Kelowna.
We have been using the services of Safeway’s downtown Kelowna Pharmacy since moving to the area in 2010.
Yes, there are many pharmacies on our side of the lake, but the downtown Safeway Pharmacy has served us well. The staff goes out of their way to do all they can to take care of our needs.
Today, for example, I had a new prescription that needed to be filled. Just after leaving my doctor’s office, I called Safeway and asked if they have received the fax from my doctor. The pharmacist checked and the prescription request was there. She checked to see if the medication was on site and said that she would processes the request. It would be available in 30 minutes. As I was in the neighborhood this would save me a trip across the lake.
This is the type of service we have consistently received for the downtown Kelowna Safeway Pharmacy.

“see, i went to the store 3 times, i tough maybe the excellent service i am getting from the store staff is just a one day thing. BUT NO .. THEY WERE CONSISTENTLY HELPFUL and Kind , i would mention MR. Samy he went out of his way to help me find 2 of 3 things i couldn't , locate plus for the one remaining item he placed an order right there an then . i would also like to mention another staff in the produce area on my first visit . he saw me calculating the price vs weight of the herbs i had in my hand and offered to show me where i can have more better option for the same herb. the staff at the checkout has always been so patient , kind and intuitive . i am bad at remembering names . but i am going today again to bring the staff names as well as more pictures ( the store was stacked to perfection )”
“I love this little IGA. Always find what I'm looking for. Great produce department run by a Woman!!!! A good selection of everything and they have their Meat Department is exceptional. great sales, with a Butcher on hand to answer any of your questions or make suggestions. I highly recommend it. Also the IGA in Kelowna. Outstanding Store too!!!”
“Me and some of my family members have been going to Save On pharmacy in West Kelowna for years now and they’ve always been so great to us. Of all the pharmacies I’ve been to they’ve always been the quickest and most helpful. I went there today and it was the first time there was a bit of a wait - I hadn’t planned ahead very well and I don’t live as close as I used to so I just didn’t have the time to wait. None of that was their problem of course, but the pharmacist was so nice about it (I believe his name was Mark) and he ended up filling my prescription in about five minutes. I really appreciated it!”

“Save on foods is always clean, well stocked and have pleasant staff. The pharmacy hours differ from the store hours but the pharmacy specifically is efficient and pleasant.”
