“I have been a customer here OUTBACK FOOTWEAR for a while and don't mind the long drive to Simi Valley. The owner, Joe, is a very friendly, nice, and polite person. I found exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price, items I couldn't find in other stores. They have work boots, cowboy boots, casual shoes, and work jackets, and they repair shoes too. Instead of driving down just to order, I can call them with a Red Wing shoe number (or any brand), and Joe will order it and call me when it's ready to pick up. I wish this store was closer to me, but it is worth the drive!”
“Can’t say enough good things about the Milk Room. The owners Greg and Rob put their heart and soul into this place and it shows. They have an amazing collection of clothes and super reasonable prices.It can sometimes be intimidating to walk into a vintage shop, but these guys made everyone who walked in comfortable. Greg and Rob are just so personable and down to earth. When Rob heard I loved animal tees, he went in the back and brought out this crazy dolphin tee for me. Most vintage shops would charge well over $30 for it and he threw it in for $10.They also have a recording studio in the back and let tons of young bands use their space to perform. The vibes here are just amazing and I’m so happy I stopped by.Best shop in LA, hands down!”

“I had possibly the greatest customer service experience at this store, all thanks to an employee named Ludo. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday with Vibae shoes she had been eyeing online for a while. After calling the Malibu branch, I reached Ludo, who informed me they didn't have her size or the color she wanted. But he didn't stop there--he offered to track down a pair and mail them if he found them. He assured me her birthday would be saved and that we'd get her these shoes! To my surprise, he called the next day after tracking down a pair and mailed them right away, just in time for my girlfriend to receive them on her birthday. (He also included a very sweet birthday note.) The shoes went on to be, in her words, "the best pair of shoes I have ever owned." These shoes are fantastic, but equally fantastic are the people who sell them. Thank you again, Ludo!”

Malibu Cross Creek mall location has many fine shops and restaurants plus outdoor music on the weekends. Pricey but there are sales occasionally.”

“I've been going to the simi town center for vans but recently changed to the oaks mall due to the sudden lack of service at the simi one. I used to love the vans in simi but the last few times I have been going they customer service has been awful! They greet me and then they just start talking and messing around with each other! The oaks vans always gives me a more warming experience definitely go to this one and not the simi one!”

“I love Nordstrom Rack, I went looking for shoes, so I had to stay focused. I'm not impressed with today's styles and didn't find anything I liked. I'm looking for the perfect red pump, and from the color to the style, it seems like an impossible task. They did have some unique styles and almost threw me off, but I am hyper focused to find the right red pump, 2" heel, with a strap in back. Where are you?”

Every single one in the store was posed intentionally, with so much attitude and expression, it absolutely cracked me up.
But that's a good sign, right? The level of detail put into the displays surely translates to other aspects of the store.
The employees we interacted with were very nice, the inventory seemed quality. The prices were a little high but my girlfriend found a really nice top on the clearance rack. I'd say it's worth checking out.

“I have been buying my shoes at Fleet Feet, (long before their current name); I have always receive excellent service. Yesterday, I went in & bought a new pair of shoes. I have been ordering my shoes online since the pandemic, but I decided I needed to have my shoe size checked because my shoes appeared to be too small. Joe scanned my feet so he could determine the best shoe for me. Ultimately, I changed from the manufacturer I have been wearing for years and purchased a shoe & insert that I am so happy with, all because of Joe’s recommendation; Fleet Feet is the best!”
