“Such a wonderful business - so lucky to have them in the valley! They just dropped off a load of lumber to my house and I have a really awful driveway and the guy (wish I got his name) navigated it so well! He got a little stuck but worked so so hard to get the truck out never took a break. The hardest worker I’ve ever met! I know how stressful situations like that can be and his attitude was so positive and he was great to work with! Thank you! And we will of course be back!”

“Gorgeous selection of plants indoor, outdoor, veggie starts, herbs, etc. Prices were fair and everything was easy to find.
Staff pretty much ignored us, which is fine because I didn't need help finding anything, but one employee was watching me struggle to maneuver my cart around an enormous garden hose that was in the middle of the store posing a tripping hazard. She didn't try to move it or help at all. So not the greatest staff in the world, but the plants! Tons of varieties of sages and California Natives. Will definitely be back.”

“Fantastic Service and a True Partner for Our Project!
We sourced all the materials for our backyard and front yard project from Central Home Supply, and they were outstanding. Their pricing was fantastic—they matched and even beat quotes from shops over the hill. The real value, however, was in their service. Being local, they offered just-in-time delivery, which saved us a ton of space on-site. When I made a mistake and misordered several crates of wrong AB blocks, they were incredibly helpful and fixed the issue without any problems. A huge thank you to Reed, Manny, and Oscar for being so accommodative and ensuring our project stayed on schedule. I definitely recommend them!”

“The good people at the Ace Hardware on Soquel Avenue are the best! I had a BBQ delivered and found it wasn’t working properly (or so I thought!). Without hesitation they sent someone to check it out and lo and behold, he got it started. I was unaware of a little “trick” to getting it started (see me blushing). Josh was so sweet and wouldn’t take a cash tip for his trouble no matter how much I tried to give it to him. I highly recommend this store and will definitely do business with them in the future. “Yes. I'm someone who's also looking for welding equipment in this area. Since I remember the time when I fixed one dumbell in my Cabrillo College R.O.P. welding class back in 1986. I even fixed my own stainless steel lunchbox and hockey sticks in my Cabrillo College R.O.P. welding class as well. It's right where cessnone house is. I'm someone who's time traveling back to when was it the best of me.”
“A nice place, helpful folks, and they had what I needed. Just like other Ace hardware I have visited. One odd thing, although the store is on Main St. but there is no door on that side of the store. The store faced a parking lot on the other side. Apparently Google Maps doesn't know this as it took me to the Main St side of the store and I had to walk around the block to get to an entrance.”

“1. They have what you need .2. Employees come to you to help.3. Fast,efficient, knowledgeable . 4. Price ? You get what you pay for !!Case in point : bought 2ea. 2x12 PT boards at 12 ft. At Home Depot ( 7 min. From home . They did not have2x12s at 14 ft. So I had to drive to Big Creek (45 min.) to get them .Home Depot boards had a brownWash slathered on that wiped off all over my gloves,tee shirt ,arms . Washed off with just water . and no preservative ( copper sulphate) visible.Big Creeks ? Dark black/brown stainWith copper sulphate smear all over the board especially in the soft grain .Get what you pay for !! Will get back in two years to let you know which boards rotted out ,Depot vs. Big Creek .”
“Kevin is awesome. I ordered a 5000 gallon water storage tank online, and submitted some information incorrectly. Kevin called me within the hour to confirm some details and got everything squared away. When I was asked how soon I needed the water tank I said ASAP and to my surprise after he looked into the scheduling he was able to deliver the tank out to my house same day. Kevin even helped me set the tank on my concrete pad which was above and beyond and very much appreciated. “Who can complain? Home Depot has what you probably need. However, this Home Depot does stand out for exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The downside is that it is a smaller one and is often out of things you came for, so you will often find yourself driving to the Watsonville store.”
