“I had a fantastic experience getting my Open Water certification at Aqua Safaris! My instructors (Boomer, Nani and Dan) were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our safety. They made sure every student actually learned the skills instead of just checking off the requirements to earn a certification. They were also very understanding and flexible when students needed to make up missed classes. I left the course feeling confident and well prepared. “TOP NOTCH! I just read a couple of recent posts that are such a bummer because they really don’t reflect how awesome the Watsonville Cyclery is. I hope the guys who gave negative reviews return at some point and get the kind of experience I have had for the past 6+ years. I take my bike bikes to Julian to tune up and repair when they need it. I have a cruiser, a road bike, and a full suspension mountain bike. I ride them a lot so they need a lot of attention. I’ve never once been let down on the quality of work or the price. On top of it, my bike always comes back looking polished. In addition to all of that, Julian is a major advocate for biking in our community, and, more importantly, a model for being a decent human in our community. He’s supportive, kind, and wants to ensure everybody has a good experience. What more could you ask for? Great work Julian. Great work, Watsonville Cyclery. Stoked you guys are in our city. “I love Big 5, ever since I was little. Affordable, good quality clothes and shoes and gear for all kinds of activity, all ages. I used to get soccer gear, now I get hiking shoes, socks, and workout clothes. Zip up hoodies used to be $15, at least they dont exceed $40. I fit in little boy's hiking boots (womens size 6-7 = boy's size 4 or 5) which are half the price of adult hiking shoes. I come into a Big 5 probably every 3-6 months for something, i'm so glad they are brick and mortar all over CA.”

This compared to $75 deal with the GS Warriors but a different cool jacket too…. Both great deals! Don’t forget to see a basketball game. The organization is top class with fair prices and GREAT promotional giveaways. The atmosphere is electric . If I lived closer I’d be a season ticket holder but 8-10 games a year and one playoffs”

“I am so impressed with this particular Rip curl store. I purchased items at a Rip Curl Store and they did not work out so I returned them receiving a gift card. I saw the wetsuit I wanted online and attempted to purchase it with my gift card. It would not work. Upon calling A customer service number I found online, they were very helpful but unfortunately I had an in-store gift card and to purchase items online you need an online gift card. Very frustrating considering it was a bigger item I purchased. Anyways I went to the Rip curl store on the west side and they did not want to help me at all. The girl at the register was very nice but upon calling their store manager they were told they could not help me. I called the customer service number back and despite his efforts he was not able to help me resolve this. He said to go into another retail store and perhaps they will be more helpful. I went into the Rip curl store on 41st Ave. and I was immediately blown away with the helpful attitudes of the staff. Keenan I hope I am spelling his name correctly did an incredible job. He got my phone number and said he would talk to the regional manager and get back to me. I received a call that afternoon. He said to come down and they would take care of me. I went today and Keenan did just as he said he would. I am so impressed with his customer service skills and his attention to detail as well as his eagerness to want to make a situation right. Those are all things that any employer would want to have and an employee and Rip curl is very lucky to have Keenan on their staff. Now I am so excited that I can buy the wetsuit I need to get out in the ocean and paddleboard! I highly recommend the Rip curl store on 41st Ave., and if you go in there be sure to ask for Keenan because he will treat you right. Thanks again!”
