“If you are looking for a reliable mechanic please come see Dave. He does not take advantage of you like other mechanics try to. I went to 3 different mechanics they all told me I needed my master cylinder replaced(more expensive) When I came to Dave he kept it honest and told me I only needed my brakes adjusted, and no problems since! This was 2 years ago. Today my Camry was struggling to start up, I dropped by his shop and he fixed the issue with no problem, within 30 minutes. Always recommend to my friends/family.”

“I had some time to take my RV out after sitting for awhile. Was headed to Malibu. While putting some air in one of the tires the valve stem seemed a little loose but held air...headed to gas station and slowly went up 1/2 of the curb and blew the 2nd tire...as luck would have it both tires where in the ground. Called the a club, but hooking and unhooking then hooking again...finding a tire place...unmounting mounting tires and all the rest sounded like the trip wasn t going to happen...oh ya this was a Sunday...Then a flash and I remembered Pat's...called them and they came through. Within a hour Jim dropped what he was doing on his day of rest and I had two new tires and was on my way. The professionalism was on target. Super impressed with knowledge and speed of the work. Truck had all the right equipment and all clean. Keep up the great work!!!”

“I was referred to come here by my dad to bring my 2007 Dodge Charger and of course whatever dad says goes, but actually the mechanics that work here are really nice and informative. I had the pleasure of meeting master mechanic Dave who had been the one who worked on my car. My car was taken in because the check engine light had started flashing, and being that I know nothing about cars I freaked out didn't drive it until it was looked at. Dave was able to identify the problem, and fix it to the best of his abilities due to other issues causing some difficulties. When I went with my dad to pick up my car, Dave let me drive it around the block to make sure it drove nice and I that I was happy, which was really cool, because I've been so use to mechanics just handing me the keys and saying bye.. So, that stood out to me. The car ran great and no pesky check engine light signs or anything! Haha! I was so relieved. But, I was advised about possible future problems arising due to the other difficulties I had mentioned earlier. After about 5 days of driving it around with no issues, the check engine light came back on and started flashing again. So I took my car back, and was greeted warmly by Dave. We talked about my experience with the car leading up to the the check engine light coming on. The next day, Dave called my dad and told him he was still having the same issues as the first time, and had invited my dad to go to the shop and check it out and physically showed him what the issue was, even allowing my dad to be hands on with the vehicle (properly supervising of course! Haha) again, I thought that was really cool, how many mechanics do you know that will do that?! I think that's great customer service! Even though the issue was still not able to be fixed, I and my dad were happy with the service that was/had been provided and will continue to return to this place for any and all future needs!”

“I still own a 2000 Chevy Silverado, which from time to time gives me problems. I had my go to mechanic (different person) take off the check engine light for me. After failing my smog test because my "OBDII Monitors Not Ready", I needed help. Harold got my truck to pass smog the legal way by running a cycle that required a lot of patience. He also changed out my thermostat which was needed to make it happen. The price was right and I received my new stickers. I will be returning if I need more repairs.”

“When you’re having problems with your truck and you’re not sure what’s wrong with it, I highly suggest that you bring it over to Performance Gearing and talk to Tom, who’s honest and doesn’t take advantage of customer's like others do. I brought my GMC pick up truck because I was told that the differentials were bad, It just so happens that after Tom took a look at the differentials, he said that they were solid. There was nothing wrong with them. I want to thank Nick the mechanic who changed the gear oil and did an outstanding job! I highly recommend this place to any person who is unsure of what’s wrong with their truck/car.***Please note that Tom didn’t quote me a price over the phone without checking to see what the problem was, that’s how honest he is!!! Don’t waste your time with others just bring your truck here!!!!”
