“I love CALM, a fun, smaller place. The train is quite fun, and you get to see an endangered cactus along with dinosaurs, oil wells, and a cowboy town. The animals all seem very well taken care of, and the staff is quite friendly. During Christmas, they have amazing lights that are really worth going and seeing.”

From the very start, Samantha’s friendly and professional communication made planning a breeze, as she clearly explained prices and details. Every time I wanted to make a change, she was adaptable and promptly provided updated invoices. On the day of the party, we were welcomed by an incredible staff member at Salty’s who was exceptionally attentive, ensuring everything was set up perfectly. The Banquet was so clean!
The party was a celebration to remember, with an abundance of delicious food that delighted our 90 guests. The staff was not only fast and efficient in serving but also dedicated to keeping everything clean. I cannot express enough how wonderful the entire team at Salty’s was to my family. “Visited Bakersfield for Thanksgiving and I have a 17yo son crazy about tennis. So I emailed Tim on Wednesday afternoon and he got back to me the same day in spite of holiday hours. My son was able to play the Friday after Thanksgiving and find people to hit with. $25 day use for non member. Good all day and can leave and come back.
Also a great place to get your racquet restrung. They have a guy they send out to locally, reasonably priced and only a few days turnaround.
Have not eaten here.”

“This place has all the amenities for a small or large group. It's very spacious, it's also located at a good location. The staff is very professional and the enterior and exterior is super clean. The sound system is state of the art and they have drop down movie screens. You'll enjoy every minute of your gathering at this place. I highly reccomend them for any occasion.”

If you’re looking for a stress free experience they will definitely deliver. Claudia the decorator did an amazing job bringing to life my daughter’s princess Tianna inspiration pictures we sent over to her. Highly recommend for your next event 10/10! “I’ve been to this house a few times for fundraisers like Oktoberfest, Holiday Market and the Mother’s Day Tea. I’ve had a great time at each event. You can tell the house has been newly renovated and the courtyard is nicely kept. Each event is decorated differently, which I think is cool. It’s never the same.The bathrooms are nice too and I noticed there is a kitchen with multiple ovens and fridges for caterers.It’s a truly beautiful building which I’m sure has tons of history behind it.I don’t have a need for a space yet, but would consider this location for a baby shower or something. Parking is easy too!Oh, and my mom won a $150 bottle of wine at the Mothers Day Tea so best believe we’ll be back!”
“A few weeks ago, our team lost an incredibly valued employee and we wanted to find a space for his Celebration of Life that would accommodate not only our whole group at BSW Roofing but also his family and friends.
We decided on The Hideaway venue and it was a really good choice. Even though it was short notice (a week or so), we were able to get it coordinated with the property manager, Shannon Eckroth. She was quick to communicate with us and help get us organized.
We had around 60+ people join us. After we set up large outdoor tents and tables, we still had half the property available for the kids to run around.
Even though we set up outside, we had our food set up buffet style inside. It worked really well for us and we will definitely use the property again for company potlucks and holiday parties.”

“Overall We had a really good experience. Everything was clean. The lanes worked. Nothing was broken. The music was at a good volume - not too loud.
The one minor frustration we had was with beverages. We had gotten a pitcher of soda with our food order, but after that, the staff would not let us order additional pitchers of soda. We weren't expecting refills. We expected to pay for the pitchers of soda and we made that clear to the staff. Even so, they would not allow us to purchase soda by the pitcher. It had to bought by the cup. That's not ideal with ten year olds, for several reasons, so we just didn't get any more soda.”
