“Emmerich the owner is by far my favorite mechanic I've ever had. He's a top notch Lexus and Toyota maintenance and repair guy. He's been servicing our family vehicles for 10+ years. He also works with other cars like Infiniti and Mercedes and domestics. Can't top his service. 5 star always. Fair pricing and straightforward repair process. We used to go to A+ Japanese, but those guys are crooks. He's got a body shop as well so if your car has an issue or a dent. Call this place up and they'll treat you right. 10/10”

“I bought a 1973 Karmann Ghia in Sept. 2017, and spent $$$ restoring it for 2+ years. I took possession in April 2020, but at 77, I'm not smelling the "gas fumes" I did in my youth (say, when I was 50). I spent considerable $$$ trying to alleviate this problem to no avail. During the time I tried to solve this problem (June 2022), I met with Ken at Jansen Enterprise and was able to see a lot of their current work (BTW he's a premiere engine builder).Two months later while park in my garage, I started the engine and was loading up items when the engine died like it was out of gas. I knew this wasn't right, I put a full tank in her the day before. I got inside and turned the key. Nothing. I looked in the rear-view mirror and saw flames licking up through the deck lid vents. I released the hand-brake and shut the door and pushed her out of the garage, into the street. 7 minutes later the SFFD arrived and sprayed water on the engine (cracking the block, thank God).I called Ken and told him what happened and that I wanted him to build me a new engine. During this conversation they recommended Mo Lofty at Europa Motors SM (another 5 star shop) and I spoke with him next. Luckily, I had a great policy with Hagerty and Mo took care of everything, including doubling the amount of the original estimate by the Hagerty field agent, and coordinating everything with Jansen Enterprise. I couldn't be happier with the workmanship, final results and the new friends (Ken, Marie and Joe) I made. Recently the Ghia was entered in the Corte Madera Lions EV & Classic Car Show. I proudly displayed "Carmen" and her beautiful engine to many impressed attendees and proudly passed along the contact information for Mo and Ken (my heroes). Thanks gentlemen.”

I was surprised by how much information they gave me over the phone. They informed me of better alternatives and I really felt like they wanted to make sure I was not going to waste any money on things I did not need. Very good people and very honest.”

“I was looking for car detailing service, because my car started smell really bad around Christmas time. JJ responded to my inquiry first, and was very attentive listening to all my concerns. He took time to clean out my car and send pictures while cleaning and found a family of dead mice behind the air vent. He took out the dead bodies and clean out my whole car and also change the battery for me.I really appreciate his exceptional service, and his price is very reasonable.”
“In 1986 I went in to Mike's father, Gunter, with a car that I had been giving expensive yearly tune-ups. When I came to pick it up Gunter said, "You didn't need a tune up. The #8 spark plug [socket?] is drilled wrong. I just changed that plug." Instead of all 8! And it was like that year after year. He never did work that wasn't needed. When I was told to get a new car Gunter shook his head kept that old car running smoothly for another 60,000 miles, to 140,000. Gunter retired about fifteen years ago, and Mike took over, trained by him, knowing everything Gunter knew and with the same honesty and work ethic. I'm donating a beloved Toyota Camry this week to SPCA that Mike got up to 211,496 miles-- would have run forever, but Mike said no, the transmission change is too expensive. Thanks for the honesty again. My red 1992 Chrysler le Baron convertible runs great, and looks like Miami Vice. I get offers on it every few months. There's always a fantastic 1930s car or motorcycle sitting around the place that Mike is refurbishing. If you've just bought a classic car, Mike is the man. Mike is caring for our Lexus 460, Pontiac Solstice, and Porsche Cayenne and I trust they'll last as long as the Camry did. Like all the other posters, I cannot recommend Mike highly enough.”

“I had an unexpected, emergency job, repairing a splash guard that had come loose on the underside of the car. The tow driver dropped me off at the station late on a Friday afternoon. I live at least 30 miles away, so I was hoping they could fix it that day. The owner was very helpful and friendly, and agreed to do the work right away.
