“As a new sailor, I was advised to replace the existing jib on our Cal 2-27 due to wear. Before doing so, I called Leading Edge, who originally made the sail. Joe quickly determined that only the sun cover needed refreshing and that the sail still had many years of life—saving us thousands. He also advised which reserve sail to convert to luff tape for winter use and completed the work quickly and affordably. What really impressed me was Joe’s memory: All I did was mention the make of our boat and Joe immediately named the prior owner he made the sails for decades ago; he remembered the boat's electric setup, which reserve sails it had onboard; he even remembered the color of the deck. The deck! Knowledgeable, generous with advice and teaching, and a rare example of old-school customer service in the age of chatbots. I was wowed. Not for nothing, his sail loft is an old-timey feel-good to visit—analog craftsmanship at work.”

“This is a good place to play badminton with friends. We went here after reserving a badminton court online.
There is a small badminton shop inside too. You can rent racquets for 5$ each and it costs 50$ to reserve the badminton court for an hour.”

Membership gets about a 10% discount in the form of a dividend. Their online shopping is excellent as well. Always beats the delivery timing.”

“Walked into the store and browse what's new. Fall in love with their Venice sweatshirt and Harlow tops. I needed a smaller size and asked one of the lady working there. She's about 5'3" blonde with glasses. She told me it's a sales item and that everything they have is on the rack. So I continued to shop and paid for 4 items with her. She's polite, but not friendly. While I was walking out, another sales lady approached me and asked if I'm looking for anything specific. So I told her I actually really liked the Venice Sweatshirt but they didn't have my size. She then pulled out a device and said that she can order online for me. So I waited, and then she looked at me and said they might have one in the back! She asked me if I can wait for her and I did. She came back with the exact sweatshirt I wanted and helped me with check out so that I didn't have to wait in line again. She's very friendly and professional, she CHECKS her inventory!! And she invited me to come back and shop again. Her name is Debbie. I would definitely go back and see her! Such a nice lady and I hope Athleta could keep her there because this location really is a hit or miss in terms of SA. Store is clean, selections are great. I hope the store manager will read this and improve their CS because I do like Athleta products.”

“My teens went to this store for the first time at this location yesterday (Sat afternoon) and they wanted me to thank the young salesperson that helped my daughter find the right jeans! She said she went all over the store, picked up several pairs of jeans once she knew what she was looking fo, then helped her into fitting room and then worked from there to make sure my daughter got what she wanted. My daughter HATES shopping and this experience made her so happy! Thank you!! What great customer service!”
“it is very good I use air beds a lot and when I go or send someone to go exchange them one of the female employees got upset and treated my caregiver in a non-professional way I love the store but the employees I asked please be professional even if you don't agree about a return or exchange with a receipt I really appreciate it I always buy from the store which is why I'm shocked that they have behaved this way before”

“Incredible Experience at Sling It Lacrosse!
My son and I were in the Bay Area for a national team training camp, and we ran into a huge problem when Southwest Airlines sent his long stick to Phoenix. We had to scramble to get a replacement, luckily on the airline's dime.
We found Sling It Lacrosse and got there before their official opening time, but to our surprise, Jorge, was already there and had the shop open. He was a lifesaver! Not only was he incredibly helpful, but you could tell he was a true lacrosse guy. We had a great time talking about the sport, and he was fantastic about giving us the pros and cons of different sticks.
Jorge went above and beyond, assembling the new stick for us, adjusting the butt end perfectly, and even offering to restring the shooting strings later if we needed it. And the stick was money—it worked perfectly right out of the gate.
This is a must-visit for any serious lacrosse player. Real laxers need to check this place out. Jorge's passion and expertise make this shop a cut above the rest.”
