“I am always beyond pleased with the customer service that I receive from Jim and his team. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful and go above and beyond to help me. I would give FleetFeet the highest recommendation. Thank you. Jeff Lazarus, MD”
“This location is always well-stocked and the staff is super chill and knowledgeable. Last time I came in, Nick was very accommodating in spite of them being understaffed and got me into a sweet snowboard setup.”
“This store is awesome. Julian (the owner) is so knowledgeable, caring, and patient. He helped try a bunch of rackets until I found the right racket (Yonex). Highly recommend!”

525 Alma St, Palo Alto“What an amazing company! I took in my 97 year old client last week to have a zipper on a jacket repaired. The turn around time for a repair was 12 weeks OR they offered him a new jacket! They didn't have the exact style of his very old light weight fleece and instead he picked out a much more expensive reversible fleece/ jacket AND it was all at no cost to him!!! My client was so excited and is now planning all the places we can go in his new jacket. The prices at Patagonia may seem a bit high to some, but I'd argue that the quality and customer service make it 100% worth it! Also- I almost forgot to mention that my clients old jacket will get donated somewhere by Patagonia and will not end up in a dump or the ocean. Love this!”
“Cute shop right next to Burlingame High School. Has a variety of rackets- reasonable prices: new $120+. Large variety of Men's clothing...needs more women's apparel...Has a community Bulletin board- which is awesome for the tennis fan. Knowledgeable staff- very happy to be there and answer any questions you may have. They have tennis pros that work out of the shop that teach lessons at the HS courts next door...convenient for many players. Many Adidas tennis shoes and in stock, which is very hard to find. Check it out you will find something you will want to buy.”
“This place is a gold mine for outdoor gear! I came here for Redback boots and found so much more than I was anticipating. Yes, they had the boots I wanted, but they also have really helpful and knowledgeable staff AND all the gear you could want, as well as some harder to find gear! It's clear this place is for nature lovers, and the heart shows. My spouse loved their selection of specific outdoor tools in particular! I felt very well served when i was looking at some boots, and I learned a LOT about what to look for for hiking v running v walking v standing in a shoe, which I never knew about! I will absolutely be back for my future hiking shoes because they have a might selection of quality products that are not available at other outdoor stores that I have seen (Danner, Redback, etc). I didn't expect so much time and attention from the staff, but they were incredible. I will be back and will be recommending it to people!”
“Wonderful store with tons of great products. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the customer service was top notch. Cannot recommend this store enough, a great small business!”
“We had an absolute 5 star experience with Derek! He helped us try various models, asked us to do a walk test to understand our gait and purpose and even patiently helped us try various colors. We wound up buying 3 pairs and highly recommended this store to all our friends!”
“I've come in for many things- whether it is to make a P2P transfer (which they did for me on the spot without an appointment which I am eternally grateful for), to buy ammo, look and get a feel for certain guns (even let me try out the LEO only selection to see if they fit my hand well), or just shoot the shit and see what selection they had on hand. They're always super nice and helpful. Never felt pressured to buy anything or felt stupid to ask questions. Just don't be a dick and be safe and all the staff will be nice to you. So if you're new to 2A, welcome and you'll have a great time here. Be aware they keep the door locked so be patient and don't try to barge in. You need to be buzzed. Other than that, nothing but good things for the boys and girls at Peninsula!”
“Knowing up front that I was traveling and likely not going to purchase anything, Sabine spent a ton of time finding the right fit for me so I could order online when I got home.”
“Very nice people working there. They knew exactly what I wanted, and had it in stock. Very nice selection of tennis rackets and strings. They were quite busy when I went, a sign that they are popular.”
“As first hand experience of figure skates fitting and buying. I had no idea what skates were going to work. Lillian did a great job with sizing, fitting, and overall service. She took the time to make sure that I was confident with my purchase. Terry on the other hand was sharpening blades from skaters. Lillian and Terry's interaction with their customers were welcoming and overall genuine. I felt confident in my purchase. I will come back here to sharpen my blade when it's dull. The skates are so much better than rentals. I swear, the fit was amazing. Unfortunately I couldn't skate on the ice due to classes and practice, but I can't wait to try it on the ice.”

1125 N Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo“Joe has been keeping my sails alive the past 12 years and at a very fair price! My 3 sails are each about 560 sq ft and used for 20 days sailing SF Bay each year, with many days at 32+ kts wind, and the sunbrella, leechline, clew, and other components appreciate Joe's attentions every 5-6 years! Joe is very personable, his prices fair, his sail loft on the SF peninsula near my home and boat in SouthBeach, and he has easy drop-off and pickup procedures. I'll be seeing Joe very soon, no doubt.”
“Needed some quick maintanence on a couple of my balls and Ray took care of me in just a few minutes. He adjusted my thumbhole as it was too tight. He opened it up a little on the sides and beveled the edge a bit help with a smooth release. Then on another ball, my finger inserts were way too big and we swapped them out for proper fitting ones. Great service at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.”
“Best tennis store in the Bay Area!! Super knowledgeable and friendly staff. They take care of their customers and are truly tennis experts. I’ve bought multiple rackets from them as well as numerous re-stringing and it has always been a terrific experience!”

2825 S El Camino Real, San Mateo“This place is always stocked. I like coming here if I am in the area. The fitting room is available to try on merchandise but must request it with an employee. Prices are reasonable, place is tidy and organized and they carry many cool top notch brands. Lots of parking.”
“Vuori is one of luxury activewears competing with other two brands in Stanford shopping center. Cannot say whose product quality is the best, but definitely Vuori’s sales associate is on the top in terms of customer services.I visited Vuori several times. The staff is always friendly, showed willing to help, but not aggressive and pushy. One of the recent visits, I tried to find an item that’s sold out from online. I showed the item to one of the staff Noah. There was no inventory at store as expected. However, Noah was going beyond and called both Santana Row and SF stores. Eventually I am able to get the item which I didn’t hold much hope before visiting. Kudos Noah!Afterall, Vuori’s DreamKnits is super comfortable and definitely will go back to purchase more”

“We went to the store at Palo Alto. Alex was very patience explaining to us about everything related to bike. It's true fixing bike in this area is expensive, but you have to pay the proper labor rate per hour for them to survive living in this area. So there's no way around. As long they deliver the service, you just have to pay the Palo Alto rate.”
“Pros: Knowledgeable staff, great instructors, top-notch gear advice, great jokes, super friendly??♀️Cons: I'm now addicted and spend too much money here ?”

700 El Camino Real, Menlo Park“I have had a very positive experience with Big 5 in Menlo Park. My sons play various sports and we have consistently purchased their shoes and other sports items from Big 5. They not only have very courteous and helpful staff, they also have a quite reasonable return policy. In contrast, our experience at Dick's Sporting Goods was the opposite. Their customer service was literally nonexistent. This store is a real gem and I highly recommend shopping here!”
“The Athleta in Palo Alto is my go-to shop for athleisure clothing. As much as I appreciate the convenience of online shopping, I love being able to try things on in store when I'm not sure about a style or I'm not sure about the sizing of something. The store is always very clean and pleasant, and the staff is courteous and helpful.”
“Friendly staff helped us find a great pair of Futsal shoes recently. We are long time customers of this store even before the move and have always been very happy with our purchases.”

“Impressive selection of sports hats and apparel. Especially Bay Area teams. Not a lot places like this left. Got my son a nice 49ers beanie last night. Owners were nice and helpful. Check this place out :)”
“I was disappointed this time because there was not a good men collection. So I had to spend my money on kids and women clothes. But I give them 4 stars because of my previous experiences there”
“Was really sad Fremont store closed- but this one is even better- spacious & a good selection of gear sorted by activities. There’s a bike shop. Stuff for SUP, running, camping. Climbing etc. large shoe selection. Easy peasy to return the climbing shoes I bought online & try on proper size in store. Very happy w the shoes I wound up with. Most of the staff ignored me throughout the store which was ok since I didn’t need specific help. Asian guy at cashier was friendly & for the exchange done really fast. Lots of parking & near freeway. Worth it to be a member.”
“Thank you Marissa for your excellent customer service on Wednesday night. I appreciated your knowledge in running shoes and finding me the most perfect 2 pairs of shoes!! Thanks also for making my insoles fit so well! Thanks for listening to my needs and for your patience, friendly and professional service. You are the best associate I have come across at Roadrunner!! I can't wait to wear my new pairs of Brooks and New Balance!! Thanks for your generous time with my shoe fitting!! You greeted me with a warm welcome and that's when I knew I was in for a treat for a great service!!!! I decided to put my review here rather than in Google maps.”
“As a lacrosse player, finding the right equipment and advice for stick stringing can be really hard but honestly Sling It! makes it easy and fun. The associates helped me find the right gloves for an advanced level of lacrosse and I intend to go buy a new D-Pole there soon. Go there for sure.”
