Lynn is on-site, so I feel comfortable trusting him with maintenance requests. He’s friendly and thorough, and has helped with a variety of issues, including the doorbell and plumbing. Asti gave me a well-organized tour. Afterward, she was attentive and helpful by email, phone, and in person. Since I moved in, she always takes the time to chat when I see her at the front desk. She has introduced me to other residents and helped me feel welcome in the community. Janae responds to questions in person and by email with clear, helpful answers. She is friendly and reliable.”

“Since living at Berkeley, I've called this place home. I've experienced many great moments and staff, but mostly in recent years. Our manager named Elicia really shines through with daily tasks and property operation. She's been very professional and assembles the maintenance staff when they're required. Apartment cleanliness is maintained and amenities such as the patio grills are kept clean & sanitized. Elicia has shown time and time again how to keep the community looking awesome & operational. She also makes fun events for the community when seasons arise. She's helped with lease renewals with ease, and makes sure all process rolls forward. Most recently, the package room has been upgraded to categorize packages according to floor, which has helped a ton. In the years before, packages were scattered everywhere and they took a while to find, but thanks to Elicia's leadership that was quickly improved. The study lounge is the best, it's kept clean, organized and stocked with office items and allows for deep focus and concentration. There's been an extreme sense of coziness living here, and not only can you get a rested mind, but a sense of security & safety thanks to her. If you're looking for a cozy home with a inclusive hard working manager, look no further. My overall rating so far; 10/10. I highly recommend it here.”

“For my DS who spend 4 years at Berkeley this was the best experience of all the apartments he tried. From the leasing office to Ravi in maintenance it was exceptional customer service. The apartment itself was super clean, zen-peaceful vibe, just a refuge from the rough edges of Berkeley. Special shout-out to Ravi who went beyond the call of duty to help us with move-in and out. Very kind person. If your child is looking for a perfect place to live this is it. It doesn’t get much better in this area. Other apartments in comparison were just horrible. I wish we knew about them earlier.”

“Lived here for a year as a Berkeley student in the Walnut Street building. There are 2 buildings, the Walnut one is a lot quieter since it's not on Shattuck. Pros: - The location is great for food and groceries -- few minutes walking to Andronico's and Safeway, multiple coffee shops nearby, and a few restaurants - There are also the 7 and 18 buses that go down Shattuck across the street, which come pretty frequently. - We got a very fair amount of our security deposit back after our lease - the manager, Scottye, is pretty nice and super responsive by email Cons (these are pretty minor): - the laundry room is on the 4th floor of the other building, there are elevators, but it's still a bit of a trek - the walls are on the thin side”

Blair, the property manager, is quite approachable and helpful! The complex is clean and well-maintained. I love living here!”
