Pet Care

Trapani Michael DVM
1365 Bodega Ave, Bodega BayDoctor Trapani and staff are absolutely the best. I used to live much closer but I still trek the hour each way to ensure my cats get the very best in care. As a breeder and exhibitor in CFA, I appreciate the knowledgeable assistance with my program and I've never doubted that the course of treatment was anything but the best for the animal.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Fisherman's Cove
1850 Bay Flat Rd, Bodega BayAn iconic stop at the coast. Many outside tables, and some also inside. It's all pretty cozy. Many choices of typical simple, and terrific, coastal dishes. The Portuguese Fish Stew is a little spicy and extremely delicious. Very busy at key times, so try planning to be hungry at more "off" hours, if possible. You'll never be disappointed.

Boat House
1445 CA-1, Bodega BayThis place is a hidden gem right around the curve our first time trying it. I got a combo of calamari and oysters and hubby got fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder. The fish and chips were perfect and the calamari and oysters were so good clam chowder had lots of clams and it was a lot of food staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we got our food quick you won't be disappointed. And it's dog friendly

Fishetarian Fish Market
599 CA-1, Bodega BayGreat spot for seafood on the bay! All the food is fresh and flavorful. They have great hot sauces to try as well. The lobster roll was served with a spicy mayo and slaw in the bun. I had heirloom chips on the side that I found to be useful when trying hot sauces or scooping up left over lobster. You order at the counter or the kiosk outside and they call your name when everything is ready.

Spud Point Crab Company
1910 Westshore Rd, Bodega BayThere was no line when I came! The food came out so fast after I ordered. I had the crab sandwich, New England style clam chowder, and crab cocktail. They were all fresh and delicious. The crab sandwich was the standout for me. It was packed with sweet and flavorful crab meat. The clam chowder came out piping hot and had a good amount of clams. The crab cocktail with a squeeze of lemon was refreshing. Seating is outdoor only. Since I visited in the middle of December, it was really chilly. There are no heaters, so be sure to bundle up if you're visiting during colder weather. Despite the cold, I enjoyed the food so much that I'd happily come back.

The Birds Cafe
1407 CA-1, Bodega BayKeep in mind, I only went to the cafe. I loved their seasonal pumpkin chai & butter croissant! Absolute perfection there. The breakfast dish I tried, a green chile quiche of some kind, was mediocre, & the chocolate croissant was average, certainly a reheated probably-not- fresh pastry. Nothing to write home about. The location & inside of the cafe were cool. There were pictures & flowers everywhere, & the cafe was nestled quaintly between the separate lunch building & a gift shop that wasn’t open when I was there on a weekday. It’s certainly worth a stop if for nothing more than a delicious coffee in a beautiful setting.

Gourmet Au Bay
1412 Bay Flat Rd, Bodega BayI was looking for something different and saw their oyster pizza. I was feeling brave, so I had it. Amazing. My wife had the best clam chowder she ever had. Brian was amazing. It was beautiful on the deck.
We went back the next day and took some family. We had what we had the day before, plus potato cheese fondue. Again, everything, including the wine was flavorful and we will be back on our next trip. This is the type of restaurant and food that justifies driving out of the way to get to.

La Bodeguita
2001 CA-1, Bodega BayThis place has the some of the best Mexican food in the north Bay Area
Edit: Raised their prices after the summer months. Still a great place to eat, but too expensive for Mexican

Rocker Oysterfeller's at Lucas Wharf
595 CA-1, Bodega BayThe food was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. The waitress was terrible, she never came back to ask how things were, but was fast with the check. The bus boy was better at working than the waitress.
