Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital
15 Healdsburg Ave, HealdsburgWe recently moved to the area and needed an emergency appointment for our dog who was in pain. Not only did the team manage to fit her in, they were also incredibly professional and provided us with excellent care and support.
Dr. Alice Eklof spent a lot of time talking through her diagnosis and the team gave us all the documentation to ensure we could get quickly referred to a specialist for our dogs ongoing care.
We will definitely be back for all our regular veterinary care and would recommend the team to friends.

Healdsburg Veterinary Hospital
135 Healdsburg Ave, HealdsburgDave has been my family Vet since I was 3 years old. His compassion and expertise have been consistently amazing over the 40 years I have been his client. We once had a dog tear her meninscus and PetCare (where we also have gone if it was a weekend) quoted us $4,000 for surgery. Dave said "Or you could give her pain pills and rest and see if she heals" She healed just fine. I trust this man with all of my animals. He knows intuitively when expensive measures are not necessary and when they are.
When he went into semi-retirement, I was nervous about a new doctor. But I should have known he would choose someone so special to be his successor. Dr B is just as amazing and just as capable and the kindest human. I trust her completely. I feel so very lucky to have such a caring team for my animals. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and Dr B helped us CURE HER of her diabetes. The empathy the staff has is unparalleled to any other Vet clinic I have been to. Thank you to all of you.

Memorial Beach Veterinary Hospital: Humphrey Patricia DVM
15 Healdsburg Ave, HealdsburgI took 3 foster pups in as an emergency visit. I didn't get to see Dr. Marty who is usually who my own dogs see and they didn't have any parvo tests on site which is what the woman said she expected it to be the issue with one of the 5 week old pups . However I immediately disagreed as bold as that may be. I've been through a puppy dying of Parvo before and I just knew that wasn't it. So considering i only had x amount of $ on me I paid for the office visit which was $80 and bought the items that were listed on the post visit instructions. Which ended up being 2 cans of $5 wet dog food. ...The pup ended up being just fine by the end of the night so obviously it was not parvo.
On a good note though when I took my own dog there the team went out of their way to make my girl comfortable. She was scared to walk on the linoleum flooring so the staff used two foam mats and kept replacing one after she stepped on the second one. All the way to the exam room. I could not ask for better treatment. Only thing I can't appreciate is there are no payment plans available. So I have to give it a 4

Breathless Sparkling Wines
499 Moore Ln, HealdsburgWe were visiting Healdsburg and enjoying trying some new wineries since our last visit some years ago. Our hotel had Breathless Sparking wine on their menu and when we inquired about it, we learned their tasting room was nearby.
We have had this wine before and really love sparkling wines, so we visited their tasting room.
The host was warm and welcoming, and we tried several of their sparkling wines and enjoyed them all. But, you must go visit and learn more about their winery and how it started and the women behind the wine. A very special place and a great origin story. Enjoy!

Bollywood Kitchen
1047 Vine St, HealdsburgI've eaten here twice while stopping here to charge my car and have enjoyed everything I have ordered. They don't pull their punches on the heat of their spicy dishes so err on the cautious side if spicy hot food isn't your jam. They're very accommodating though; I overheard a neighboring table being dismayed at the heat and they cheerfully volunteered to bring them a less spicy serving.
Friendly staff, good service.

Kokomo Winery - Dry Creek Valley
4791 Dry Creek Rd, HealdsburgI recently visited Kokomo Winery at Timber Crest Farms and was thoroughly impressed. The vibe of the place is excellent—relaxed yet professional—but what really stands out is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience feel personal and welcoming.
As for the wines, the quality is top-tier. Their Pinot Noir is fantastic, and the Cuvée is absolutely incredible. I also really enjoyed their new Breaking Bread line; those table wines are perfect if you're looking for something fresh, light, and easy to drink.
Overall, this is easily one of the best tasting experiences in Dry Creek Valley. If you are looking for high-quality wines and a great atmosphere, this is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
