“The PO building is old, dark, small and falling apart. It really needs to be torn down and rebuilt. HOWEVER, the counter staff are invariably kind and helpful. Don't believe any negative reviews about the staff at this PO-- they are the best. They get all sorts there, and they have to deal with odd, rude, not-so-bright and demanding people, but I have never seen them be anything other than kind and professional. It can get busy there at times, but it is almost always much quicker than other nearby POs, and the staff are so nice that it's not really a bother.”
“I had an issue with USPS not cancelling my forwarding over 10 days ago, so I was not getting any mail. I called the local Bisby Lake Ave. post office and, unlike many other post offices, the phone was answered after just a few rings! Mark was extremely pleasant and researched the issue while I was on the phone. Twice he came back off hold to update me. He discovered the regional center had not told my carrier that I was back home. He called the carrier right then to update her and then told me I could pick up a package that just came in. Wow. I did so and the staff found my package right away. What a pleasant experience, and thank you.”

“I only come here a few times a year mostly near the holidays. I don't have a mailbox or anything here so this review is strictly for the main customer service line of the post office. The male employee who was helping me was welcoming, I just walked in and he apologized for wait and began to help me. There was no wait I just walked in but ok I'm all smiles. I asked for holiday stamps and he grabbed the box to show me all the options they have. I didn't see the option I saw online and he informed me that type was the winter regular stamps. I got a few of the booklets of stamps for $11 each. The best part is if you go in you don't have to wait 5-8 business days to get them shipped with possible 2-3 delayed days. Also my neighborhood postal annex booklets cost $3 more so it's a no brainer to come here for snail mail stamps. The only issue is this parking lot and shopping center area is a little sketchy so you really have to watch your surroundings. Other than that it's a friendly post office from what I've witnessed the past few years.”
“Always great and friendly service while taking the time to address any questions or concerns.Only downside is that they’re never consisted with the official rules and guidelines posted by DC on the official USPS website, making stuff up along the way, making them sound unsure about things and leaving you as a customer unsure about outcome because it doesn’t match expectations set by the website.That said, it has yet to cause an issue.”

“I’ve been coming into this location for a while now and have always had a good experience. However, today Carlos went above and beyond! I was struggling to find the right box and shipping materials in line, so he called me over and helped me find the perfect size box and was able to cut my shipping price in half! He packed the item himself and was wonderful throughout the whole interaction. I would definitely recommend this location and especially Carlos to help you out!”

“I know that people who go to the Postal Office are either in a hurry, anxious that their mails/packages are taken cared of or would even be having a bad day. So Cashiers and Staff working to serve all the customers are often overlooked or taken for granted. A small shortcoming on their part might be blown out of proportion by others, thinking they are snob or unhelpful. I can relate, because this USPS Staff ms. Joanne, might look reserved or strict, but once you get to know her, or take time to smile at her and talk to her, she will be very nice and cheerful. She has helped me from the first time I stepped in this location. Walked me through on how to open a PO Box and assisted me in mails that I'm looking for. She wrote everything patiently. I thank her for knowing her products and services. So just to put a balance perspective, most customer service workers might also have a challenging day and I feel we as consumers must also be considerate, who knows friendships can also be built which will last.”

“It is in fact located on a military base. So for those who have access is extremely convenient to not have to drive halfway across town in high gate traffic to get to a usps. Staff is friendly, professional and I can honestly say thank you. And for those who posted "its military property" yeah it says that online. And if you look at google maps it states that there are "restricted access" roads. Waaaa red flag should have gone high with that.”

“I just want to thank George at Coronado Post office for answering my plea for help. I'd left my drivers licence inside when counter help was tracking my package. I forgot to retrieve it and left. After arriving home, I realized I'd left it. The post office was already closed for the weekend, but when I went around the back and called for help, George came out. “I want to acknowledge the clerk Mylene who has attended to me at the Bonita Post Office on 11/07/23. She is super quick, professional in her attitude, calm under pressure (since the lobby was full and she was by herself), courteous, and smiled with everyone she helped. She made me feel like a valued customer and I look forward to her assisting me again. On a side note, i do have a complaint. The male supervisor would come out and see the long line and he did not jump in to help his colleague who was hustling all by herself. Not cool!40 year resident.”
