“We travel Interstate 5 often. When we find an easy place to get gas plus use the restroom we tend to frequent the location. To make my list the place must have a clean restroom. This Arco/AMPM meets this criteria of easy access and clean restrooms. As a bonus the gas is on the cheaper side in Buttonwillow and the AMPM has every sort of drink or snack you could think of. If you are near Buttonwillow on the 5, need gas and have to use the restroom this is a safe stop. Warning: be cautious of entering if the person in front of you has been in the restroom for awhile. These are private restrooms and entering after a long wait could be troublesome.”
“Incredible selection of meat that beats the price anywhere in Bakersfield. Amazing quality! Plus we we received free steaks after spending a certain amount of money. You don't get that anywhere else.”
“This gas station has some cool souvenirs. I stopped last year on my way back from Mt. Shasta and bought some cool mementos. I had to stop again this year to see what else I could get. I am glad I did.”

“What a great surprise. Stopped here for gas. Looks like a typical I5 gas station-until you go in a and see the massive amounts of alcohol, knives, axes, and other weapons for sale.”
“This is one of my favorite pit stops traveling from NorCal to SoCal. Bathrooms are clean and have a good variety of restaurants. Perfect place to relax and stretch out on a long road trip”

“UPDATE: Had to use the restroom again, it smelled bad so I febreezed it :) I finally paid it forward and helped someone with a gallon worth of gas. Additionally, I met a really cute couple with two cute doggos! They're headed to Portland! What a long journey, I hope they and get there safely! This place rocks! :)”

“Buttonwillow...Sometimes the best travel centers are in cities that are unknown to mankind. There are several gas stations around this particular area. TA is .20 more. There's plenty of parking for cars, RV's and semis.I particularly liked the customer service, the cleanliness/neatness of the store, and the sanitized/cleanliness of the bathroom and extra wide size stalls. I definitely recommend this stop.”
