“Well well well.. it was the last gas station before the canyon a year ago but not anymore no you have any options of gun to Taco Bell Starbucks or gas station before hitting the canyon or when did I forget the pizza place. Wow it's crazy to think that It was just one gas station before the rich owners (assumed) came in and put in a little Center (Tourist Trap) but now you can go out for a five-star meal at the NEW place that got built in where the NEW TACO BELL AND STARBUCKS AND A FANCY GAS STATION! Anyways about this particular gas station honestly there's nothing crazy awesome about it, and nothing bad about it.. I mean besides the fuel price of course LOL I prefer 7/11, or Fastrip just saying but if you need something quick it's great!”
“Love this little shop. Wouldn't see it unless you walk past it, but once you find out about it, it's worth it going in there. If they don't have what you need they know exactly where you can go to find it. That's why I always make them my first stop when I need to find something specific, like a coil for my vape and what not.”

“Hidden gem Taco ? spot. I pass by this spot all the time and never really give it a second thought because it's a little hole in the wall place. But boy have I been missing out. These were some amazing tacos. I got 2 Pastor and 1 Asada. (Ate 1 before the pic). So much flavor in their meat. Great tacos. Highly recommend”

“I come here every night for a Dr. Pepper and the staff is super friendly and the drinks are super cheap! Get the app for the drink coupon and rack up points you can redeem for $$$ towards your next purchase! It’s honestly become a staple in my routine, every time I have friends in town I take them to see Sully’s. It’s something of a Bakersfield landmark in my opinion. Chevron gas is pricey, but the Sullys attached makes it worth it!”

You’re not bothered by people asking for money all the time and if you are it’s super rare, but in comparison to everywhere else nearby it’s a nice change of pace for this side of town. Can't say much about the prices except they're way cheaper than any in Tehachapi -- so if you're heading east on 58, you might want to gas up in Bako first.”
“Update to previous review below.Been going to this store my whole life, unfortunately one bad employee has caused a problem recently.Stubby bald “friendly” dude rips people off constantly. Every time I go in when he’s working stuff cost more. Doesn’t follow the advertised prices and will lie about why it cost more.Sometimes it’s 50 cents sometimes it’s an extra $10. I heard someone complaining about an unauthorized $75 charge to her card recently while that employee was working. Everyone else is a good employee and trustworthy.UPDATE: The owner reimbursed me out of his own pocket for the actions of his untrustworthy employee, I highly recommend this store, it’s a friendly and welcoming place. I’m unsure if the employee who stole from the customers will continue working there, but he has been warned at the very least. If you go to this store and the short bald dude is working the register just be careful and make sure he’s not overcharging you. I think he wears glasses. Every other employee is amazing and trustworthy. Just be careful with the one bad employee.”
