“Was hopelessly lost when we happened upon this gas station with the signage showing "Krispy Krunchy Chicken". As hubby loves his chicken, decided to give it a try. Yes, this was crispy and crunchy and delicious, moist and flavorful. Side choices were beans and rice, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese or jambalaya. Mmm, very good lunch spot with great fried chicken! They also serve Krispy Shrimp and Cajun Style Fish, plus biscuits called Boudin Bites-regular or blueberry which we did not get to try as they were all gone after our late lunch.”
“I got gas here the other day and remembered I was their first customer back when they first opened. I bought cigarettes at 6am that morning. I don't smoke anymore. First!!”

“Super friendly staff. If you ask about an item they can get they will add it to their next order to make sure they have it for you. In the past they have even told me about when an item they were out of would be expected in because they knew I stopped in regularly and ordered it for me. They go above and beyond if you stop by regularly to male sure they take care of you.”

“They have a good selection inside the store . Only once did I buy some expired ice cream. While there are many car wash locations on the same road , I go here because I prefer only pressured water to touch my car . Sometimes the credit card machine is down to buy the car wash forcing you to back up or leave your car to go inside and pay.”

“Went in for gas and chips and I gotta say I was super impressed with the customer service from the gentleman and lady working this evening (2/2/24 @ 9:30pm for schedule reference) They were super friendly and personable. They also helped us pick out some chips and dip for my son and he was thrilled. I'm sure most of their customers are just in and out getting gas and necessities and don't pay the cashiers no mind but these guys were fantastic! Give them a raise cuz u just gained a life time customer. I'll only fill up here from now on! Excellent job to both of them. You should be proud to have them on your team.”
“This place is now called "Michael's Market" and it currently sells Shell branded gas. Years ago this was a Valero station w/ a food shop. I don't come out to Discovery Bay too much anymore, but I stopped by for some gas and snacks on a Monday evening. Michael's Market is like a convenience store (c-store), but it's loaded with beer, wine and tobacco items. It has a fountain area and wide variety of snacks and candy. For awhile it was the only neighborhood shop around. But now the Discovery Bay shopping center is right next door. Yes, I saw the Confederate flag. But the clerk was friendly and helpful. I was wearing my work uniform w/ ID. People with jobs usually have money to spend. Michael's Market is a well stocked c-store that can save you a trip down the road to the Safeway shopping center. Shell gas prices were about average for the SF Bay Area. Located on the corner of Discovery Bay Blvd & Riverlake Rd.”
“Best place around for gas AND ESPECIALLY PROPANE!They fill your propane tanks correctly using the bleed valve so you get a full tank, whereas all the others don't use it because the new fill valves don't require it but leave the tank shy by nearly a gallon.Super friendly help, you can't go wrong:-)”

Come relax here and get things done at the same time! The people here are nice and helpful! Thanks a lot! You made my day! Will be back if your getting the carwash, make sure you press Soft Touch, not touch free, you have a time limit to decide; if you don't, it will timeout and automatically choose touch free and that means the brushes won't touch your car, just the water and soap and detergents will. Personally I prefer the brushes to touch your car. It cleans your car better”

“I’ve gone here for 20+ years, and have always been greeted kindly by the staff who has been here for years. Most staff has been great! EXCEPT for the the possum employee Marty, who likes to throw herself at married and rando men in the whole downtown neighborhood, and give free stuff to get attention and whatever else she can give or get. The store should watch her very closely, because everything from snacks to alcohol is being given away for free, including her foul self, for whomever wants possum action. She also shows up drunk because she knows where to get free alcohol from other bars, pubs, and shops, by throwing herself at men and hanging around like an alley cat until she’s told to leave, and even then, she stays until she’s ordered to leave, and then acts upset. This employee is a liability to the Chevron business, and the very family-oriented community.”

“I frequent this gas station and mart due to close proximity to my house and good gas prices. I stop here before work to get coffee and occasionally grab a hot breakfast sandwich. I love their variety of different drinks, snacks, etc. I stopped this morning on the way for my usual. The woman behind the counter is def my fav employee. Always personable and more than pleasant. Unfortunately, I ended up with the the longest, curliest, hair cooked all throughout my sausage sandwich. I attempted to call the store first to let them know... but, the phone number isn't direct.”

“I love coming here cause the people are cool. It's always busy though. However the last time I was there Angie was too rude for my taste to be as frequent as I use to be. Long story but I approached her about a minor issue. She basically was acting like she knew what I was going to say before I said it... thus it becoming an unnecessary drawn out bigger issue. Had she heard me out... instead or reacting, our exchange would have been smooth and simple. I figuratively rolled my eyes and let her go on thinking she was right in what she was talking about. For one she wasn't letting me talk and for 2, I knew she was about to realize she was wrong lol. When she finally got to the point of realizing she was wrong in her original thought... she got upset with me for not clarifying Lol. Girl! Any who... perhaps she was having a bad day... regardless what it was she should have never jumped to conclusions. The 4 stars is for all other employees :)”
