The repairs came out amazing. The paint match and finish look great, everything lines up properly, and the car looks like nothing ever happened. They also thoroughly inspected the vehicle, found additional damage, and handled the supplemental repairs directly with GEICO, which made everything much easier for me.
I’m very particular about who works on my RS3, and I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out. Huge thank you to Adam and the entire team at Automotive Collision Repair for taking care of my car.

“Jorge and the other folks at Alec & Angel's are exceptionally careful and thorough with tires and my car. On Thursday, June 25th, I visited Alex & Angel's Tires with an emergency repair due to my sidewall getting torn up on the parking ramp at UCSF Berkeley Outpatient Center. These ties are run flat Michelin tires that retail at $390 each - my Chevy Bolt EV has no spare tire - and I needed my car usable ASAP. Jorge go the job done in less than 15 minutes, because he had a used tire that matched my current set. I inspected it as a former mechanic - it was in very good condition with thread depth comparable to my set of tires. And the discount for used (vs new) was great!!
If I need tires again, even a new set of 4 tires for any car, a tire repair or a simple tire inspection and pressure check, I will head directly to Alex and Angel's, even if I half to drive some distance to get there.

I first came here with my 2007 Acura RDX a few months ago when it had trouble starting occasionally. I pulled in with no appointment on a Saturday and Brian was able to immediately diagnose the issue as a failing starter and got it fixed that day. I haven't heard the car start like it does now in years!
I recently started getting an intermittent check emissions system light while driving on cruise control. I'm relatively new to the area, and at this point hadn't found a shop for regular maintenance. I made the mistake of taking the car to a different shop in Berkeley that was supposed to specialize in Hondas and Acuras, and they pulled the error code, measured the boost pressure, and concluded that I needed a $14k turbo replacement. From browsing forums online and seeing similar problems in the same model of the same age, I asked about other potential causes (cheaper repairs like a faulty sensor/wastegate actuator/or leak somewhere) and whether they ruled those out. This other shop kept pointing to error code and told me that it wasn't necessary to rule out other reasons. At $14k, I was ready to give up on this car. I'm so glad I took it to Brian for a second opinion.
He did a thorough inspection and ruled out all of the external causes for the error code and low boost pressure and explained the findings to me plainly. He gave me a quote of $3k for installing a new turbo, which I was more than happy to pay for a car that I don't use frequently- much better than the hassle of trying to find a new car. He also fixed a few other issues that I brought up with my shocks + oil filter housing with a fair price for both. The car sounds and drives amazing now. Thank you so much, Brian!”

“This is an overdue positive response to this local shop that I have patronized for several years. I’m including three other people in this response who do not do social media. Mr. Gomes, his two children, plus the staff are always fair and efficient. They are honest and they are thorough. I completely trust any decisions or suggestions they make about my old Dodge caravan. Furthermore, both of my friends, Bruce and Ralph, part of the disabled community, come all the way from Berkeley to make sure that their specialized vehicles are well attended to. A recent friend from out of town had to have work done on her vent system on her 96 Toyota. Sandra gave a quote for the fix, and honored that amount, even though it took an additional four hours of time to finally get it repaired. That is a mark of honesty and holding good to one’s word. “Mr. Orlando and his crew are awesome. Came to get a wheel alignment he noticed that My tire light was on. I told him that it was the sensor other shops wanted to charge me like $170 for each tire but he said let me check something. He check my spare tire which had five sensors and he said that’s what’s making it low because I needed air and he fixed it. The light went off. I am so appreciated and I believe in God‘s favor. He didn’t try to rip me off took care of the problem without charging me.”

I spoke to Wendy the day my car was recovered and she showed so much compassion towards me over the phone. She took care of my well being first, which is so rare these days.
