Safeway is a neighborhood grocery store offering a convenient and friendly experience. It features a deli, bakery, fresh produce, and a helpful pharmacy staff. The bakery has customizable cakes and cupcakes, while the deli offers party trays made to order. Services include Order Ahead pick-up, Grocery Delivery, and DriveUp & Go™ for busy shoppers. The floral department provides customized products. It is a large location open seven days a week from 5am to 2am, with many departments including a Starbucks and US Bank. It has plenty of parking. However, some customers find the prices high and the aisles narrow. Experiences with staff can be inconsistent, with reports of grim checkers and unpleasant interactions at self-checkout, including unnecessary arguments over lines. While some food is noted as healthy and not expensive, like farm-raised chicken and salmon over rice, advertised sale items are sometimes out of stock. The atmosphere is generally good, though the men's restroom may require a code.
This used to be one of my favorite Safeway to shop at. Until they started locking up products. I like to go in the store grab what I need and leave. No I have to spend extra time waiting for someone to unlock what I need.

Decent selection, store is kept clean, staff is friendly. But more importantly unlike other Safeway stores in the area there's no weird gates at the doors or other nonsense. I do wish we'd be able to get beyond keeping personal care items locked up though(that's not a Safeway specific problem, is what it is I guess).
