“This was the only car repair shop that was able to get my car in immediately, and also were able to work on my Volvo car. They were extremely transparent about findings after doing a diagnostic, and my options. And sent a very clear invoice breaking down pricing and sourcing of all of the parts used in repair. They also have amazing financing options that I haven’t been offered any where else. I would highly recommend, I always worry about going somewhere new because you never know about quality of work or honesty on how much work will cost, but I found they were extremely fair and just overall made me feel like my car was in good hands!”

“The BEST SERVICE! The owner priced match another tire shop, and got us in a bay in 5 minutes of being there. All 4 tires brand new, installed under 20 minutes. The owner takes pride in his prices, shop and the entire experience. Friendly, Professional and I couldn’t be more happier with the entire experience. Thank you Zan for the top quality of your tires and experience.”

“Granddaughter was visiting for the weekend. She was leaving to drive 300 miles home when her engine starting shaking. Called Benny at 11ish and he got me in at 1. Car was fixed and she was on her way by 4:30. Was a defective ignition coil. AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE...👍”

“There are a few things as unsettling as car trouble when you are hundreds of miles from home, complicated by having all of your kid’s belongings in the back of your car in preparation for college move-in! Fortunately, Chico Car Care was recommended by our towing company. David and Josh were amazing in trying to get my 2018 Pilot’s issues diagnosed in the late afternoon. Fixing it ultimately required time the next day, but they were kind enough to garage the car overnight so that nothing from inside got stolen, and had me on the road as soon as possible the next day. They were sincerely trying to keep me from getting stranded again, and I couldn’t appreciate all of their help, amazing communication, and effective repairs more! Thank you, Chico Car Care! The company my husband works for has an office in Chico, and now we know who to recommend to the other employees should they ever need car repairs!”

“In an unfortunate but temporary financial downturn resulting in the reliance of my vehicle as my only form of shelter, I discovered a dramatic loss of tire pressure due to a drywall screw tha became embedded in one of my tires. The tire was so old and in such condition that it would not be ethical or safe to patch and rotate with another as I had hoped. Having no compatible used tires available I was offered a new tire at a price I could afford that day (likely close to or at cost). Expecting funds to arrive in one or two days and highly impressed with the exemplary and compassionate customer service provided to me that day, I chose to return when funds arrived following day and purchased three more identical tires refraining from any haggling or hard-luck tales. I then learned that the tires I had purchased would be inspected and maintained by America's Tires for the duration of their useful life. America's Tire now has a new lifetime customer in me!”

“Jim is the best, my wife took our Odyssey to Witmeier Honda here in Chico and they gave her an insane quote for repairs and assure that the Alternator was broken and possibly the AC compressor could have "Black death" and might be the case to replace all of it + the power steering + the belts. I told her that was insane and we should get a second opinion so we took it to Jim, who check it out on a Wednesday and told me that needed to be replaced where the alternator and AC brackets and get the belts. He had done and running two days later. So if you have a Honda never go to Witmeier take it to Jim he is the best!”

“Brought both my Mazda 3 and my Volkswagen Passat TDI to Chico Auto Tech, and they knocked it out of the park on both vehicles. Working on a TDI can be a massive headache with emissions systems, sensors, and stubborn computer monitors, but they dialed it right in, got the mechanical issues completely sorted, and cleared out the persistent codes. Finding a shop that actually knows how to handle diesels properly and doesn't just guess is rare. Honest work, fair pricing, and great communication. Highly recommend them if you need reliable work done on your car!”

“Even years later, I still think about how incredible this shop was. That alone says everything. They were so kind, thorough, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right. At one point, there was an issue with parts being backordered, and they went above and beyond by letting me use a loaner car for weeks so I wouldn’t be stuck without transportation. That level of service is rare. Their professionalism, honesty, and kindness truly left a lasting impression on me. If you’re looking for a mechanic you can trust, this is the place.”

“I live up by the Oregon border and was down in Chico when my Harley's shifter broke off. These guys were the only shop open and didn't hesitate to help. “We just arrived in town and had to get our truck repaired. We were referred by someone local to call Drew at Don Young. We had multiple estimates(the repair was very expensive) and all of them were higher(one was double the price) than Don Young. Drew did the work right away and did a great job. Super honest and professional. Such a breath of fresh air. We will be taking our truck there if anything is ever needed. Thank you again!!!”

“absolutely the ONLY shop I bring my car. Craig does not lie to you, does not upsell, and will tell you the truth if there are more issues, unlike chico shops where service managers get a spiff on upsells.Younique treats their clientelle as forever customers, people who depend on their cars, and NOT as cash cows to milk.”
