“Can’t believe how helpful they were! My sun roof decided to not close all the way and while it is still under warranty the new one was will take a few weeks to come. The dealership said, too bad, but then on my way out an employee pulled me aside and told me to go to Perkins for “tape”. So glad I did this, they gave me this huge plastic thing that stuck to my car that was just for this purpose. Then the guy looks at my husband and I and says no charge, just come back if you need us. “Chico Car Care is my new top mechanic for my Toyota Prius. The first time I stopped by, on a friend's recommendation, was to have them help me with tire issues, and the owner quickly assessed that I had worn one of them down to the wires. He said he could fix it, but also said it was just as easy to take to my favorite tire shop if I preferred. I had bought the tires at Les Schwab so that's what my cheapest alternative was. But the fact that they were willing to pass up business to get me assistance sooner than later impressed me that I could probably trust them with my next repair needs. Recently I had some minor repairs which included a headlamp out and a maintenance light on, and it had been 6,000 miles since my last tune-up. Dan assisted me and they were not only very polite and professional to communicate with, but they were prompt with my service (next day), paid for my Uber ride back to my house, and sent me a text with the recommended repairs which included photos of my parts needing repair as well as videos to help me understand the parts use in my car. My overall experience was awesome! I highly recommend them as honest and professional mechanics in Chico. Thanks Chico Car Care!”

“Jim is the best, my wife took our Odyssey to Witmeier Honda here in Chico and they gave her an insane quote for repairs and assure that the Alternator was broken and possibly the AC compressor could have "Black death" and might be the case to replace all of it + the power steering + the belts. I told her that was insane and we should get a second opinion so we took it to Jim, who check it out on a Wednesday and told me that needed to be replaced where the alternator and AC brackets and get the belts.He had done and running two days later. So if you have a Honda never go to Witmeier take it to Jim he is the best!”

I recently went in to get a plug and patch from a screw that I got in my tire and they didn’t charge me. I didn’t even purchase these particular tires from them but they did it for free as a service anyways. when I do need to purchase new tires for my truck, I will definitely be going to quality used tires.”
