PetSmart
17651 Colima Rd, City of IndustryI love the fact that Petsmart hosts pet adoption events so often. Last Saturday I went, there were two nonprofits with cute dogs and cats for adoption. I have two cats which were rescues. There are so many dogs and cats that need good homes. Please adopt from places like this rather than buying fancy pedigreed animals.

Haidilao Hotpot City of Industry
1560 South Azusa Avenue Unit 178, City of IndustryThis was actually my first time finding out that Haidilao has an all-you-can-eat option! We tried the $32.99 per person package, and the beef and lamb were both right up my alley—nicely marbled, with slices that were just the right thickness. Even though it’s a buffet, the portions definitely didn’t feel skimpy. I’m also a big fan of quail eggs and egg dumplings when I have hot pot, so with those added in, I was already more than satisfied.
It’s also a pretty stress-free option when dining with kids. The service was, as always, thoughtful and attentive. They prepared a kids’ meal, a magic wand, and a little balloon for my daughter . When I handed my phone to my kid to watch something, the server even brought over a phone stand without me asking.

Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet - City of Industry
18061 Gale Ave, City of IndustryCame in around 9 on a Sunday. Great service from the staff and their sushi options were great. Ramen was tasty too once you make it your own after getting it from the kitchen. Lamb leg was great along with the braised pork belly. Will definitely be back for the hot pot!!!

Lao Liu Jia Restaurant
18207 Gale Ave, City of IndustryI had a busy day with my friends and didn’t have time to eat until 8pm. There were not many open restaurants. I decided to come here. It’s so cold. It’s so happy to eat grilled fish at Lao Liu’s house. I recommend this cucumber mixed with pig ears. It tastes delicious. Take care of the mandarin duck grilled fish. Got the taste of my Cantonese friends?

ChaHalo - Rowland Heights
17823 Colima Rd, City of IndustryWas a perfectly fine boba place. We had the coconut based drinks, osmanthus and jasmine, with cheese foam. The osmanthus is more fragrant, perfect at 75% sweet. The jasmine probably needed 100% sweetness because it was a bit lighter in taste.
Quick and efficient service.

Auntea Jenny (Rowland)
18205 Gale Ave B, City of IndustryWhenever I'm in this side of town I look to pop by here. They really do keep it interesting with their drink lineup. My favorite is the their classic mango but I've also had some of their other seasonal drink lineup. Eager to see what other drinks they have in their rotation next.
