1559 Amar Rd N, West CovinaI came here after an absolutely awful experience at Southern California Animal Hospital, and they graciously accepted me and my cat last minute for much needed xrays. I live over an hour away from SCAH and Adam's, and I very much appreciated them seeing me, especially when it was close to their lunchtime and my cat's meds had worn off, so she was SPICY. The front desk, techs, and doctor were all so friendly and helpful, and even apologetic about my experience with the first place. I am so grateful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I usually take my pups to Banfield at the West Covina Eastland Center though lately, Banfield has been extremely short staffed & thus, have incredibly long wait times / lines. I come here to specifically get my pups’ ears cleaned & anal glands expressed — sometimes for nail trims (pedicures) as well. This place is definitely more “affordable” than Banfield! As in, the prices here are less expensive than Banfield’s. (Although vet care is expensive in general, which is why I use quotes). I’d really like if SH Animal Hospital were to incorporate a user-friendly app like what Banfield has + If you guys can create some sort of membership plan (similar to Banfield’s Pet Wellness plans). Just some suggestions!

Each dog is so different and Diamond has an amazing ability to find what works for the dog and draw out the confidence. We’ve made so much progress with loose lead walking, learning manners and are now working towards more advanced obedience. Couldn’t recommend Diamond more and I know the pups love her because the second they hear her voice (in person or on the phone) they get sooo excited.

We stumbled upon this place when we decided not to wait in line at Porto, so I checked out Google Maps and found it. I was skeptical about the 4.9-star reviews, but once I took a bite of my Pastrami sandwich with avocado, I understood why people rave about it.
The sandwich was incredibly juicy. I opted for the sourdough roll, which had a delightful crunch on the outside and a soft, fluffy interior. The flavor of the pastrami was just right , with avocado added a wonderful texture, combining chewy, crispy, and flavorful elements in perfect harmony. My friend ordered the burrito with sausage, cheese, egg, and avocado, and she was equally impressed. The burrito wrap was surprisingly thin, but the fillings inside were soft and juicy, creating a satisfying combination.
The restaurant is very clean, the staff were very friendly and energetic! They offered us some sample of the smoothie which is very good also!
We’re already planning our next visit to try more of their delicious offerings. This place is highly recommended!

There’s plenty of seating available; most of it is indoors, but there are a good amount of outdoor tables as well. Regarding the price, you can find a decent meal for under $10 at some stalls (like the taco or hot dog combos), but I’d strongly recommend bringing $20 or more if you want to really explore the different vendors.
I’d definitely come back!
Just a heads up; since it's located in a busy plaza with other restaurants, finding parking can be a bit tedious.
