1559 Amar Rd N, West CovinaI came here after an absolutely awful experience at Southern California Animal Hospital, and they graciously accepted me and my cat last minute for much needed xrays. I live over an hour away from SCAH and Adam's, and I very much appreciated them seeing me, especially when it was close to their lunchtime and my cat's meds had worn off, so she was SPICY. The front desk, techs, and doctor were all so friendly and helpful, and even apologetic about my experience with the first place. I am so grateful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I usually take my pups to Banfield at the West Covina Eastland Center though lately, Banfield has been extremely short staffed & thus, have incredibly long wait times / lines. I come here to specifically get my pups’ ears cleaned & anal glands expressed — sometimes for nail trims (pedicures) as well. This place is definitely more “affordable” than Banfield! As in, the prices here are less expensive than Banfield’s. (Although vet care is expensive in general, which is why I use quotes). I’d really like if SH Animal Hospital were to incorporate a user-friendly app like what Banfield has + If you guys can create some sort of membership plan (similar to Banfield’s Pet Wellness plans). Just some suggestions!

Each dog is so different and Diamond has an amazing ability to find what works for the dog and draw out the confidence. We’ve made so much progress with loose lead walking, learning manners and are now working towards more advanced obedience. Couldn’t recommend Diamond more and I know the pups love her because the second they hear her voice (in person or on the phone) they get sooo excited.

Although they had several coffee drinks available through their espresso machine, the coffee machine was out of order. Which seemed silly that they could not make a regular cup of coffee from a machine that makes coffee drinks. To try the breakfast menu my wife tried apple waffle which she enjoyed. The breakfast burrito for myself. The burrito was nicely done and a good salsa to go along with it. I would suggest they salt and pepper the eggs to give them some flavor. There are some small tables inside and out which make it a nice place to enjoy on a beautiful California morning. Hopefully the next time we stop by the coffee maker is working and I can try the waffles my wife said we're so good.

4141 S Nogales St B107, West Covinareally love this place! Delicious Chinese vegan food & desserts in a buffet setting! ($16 per adult is not expensive for quality food and you can go back for a seconds!) Items with dairy or egg are clearly marked on labels. They also have a small grocer section with all your vegan favorites, as well as a frozen section. I met Kitty today, who is one of the volunteers that helps out around the restaurant and the kitchen. They aim to help educate people on how to eat healthy without any political or religious motive. As a matter fact, they offer a free vegan cooking class each Sunday for people who register ahead of time. I admire the staff here for their delicious foods & positive energy ❤️. I hope they consider opening other vegan restaurants. I visit the surrounding West Covina area twice a year, and I will definitely be back for more!
PS. The vegan soy beef jerky is AMAZING!!! I can’t believe the price too!!! Since going vegan, I crave jerky but hate the prices of the American brands. I’m definitely picking up some more next time I’m in town! See pics for more details on the ingredients and nutritional facts.

Now I will jump into the comment pool.
I stumbled across Veg World as I was desperately driving around in my neighborhood looking for a vegan restaurant.
Feeling guilty of living 68 years depriving my body of the nutritions necessary to maintain a healthy heart.
68 years later, as a result of neglecting my health by putting all the wrong foods into my body,I now have high cholesterol and I am a diabetic.
I decided to reach out to the veg world to save my heart.
I drove passed Veg World and decided to take a chance at trying their food.
My my my,what a diabetic high cholesterol decision that was.
The best thing I've done for my health in 68 years.
The first thing I look for, is the restaurant clean.
Veg World definitely earned their A rating .
This restaurant had a tropical exotic atmosphere, water falls outside, water falls inside ,beautiful plants and the walls had beautiful pictures of parrots.
So I proceeded to look at their menu.
With the help of the patients of the waitress ,she spoke to the chef for recommendation for my health concerns, the chef carefully put together a meal that would be healthy for my heart.
I praise this restaurant for helping me save my health from a stroke or heart attack.
In short, Veg World is helping me save my life.
I had the pleasure of meeting one of the Chefs and I thanked her for preparing her food with such passion for the health of her customers.
I want to applaud my beautiful Chef Nicole for showing compassion for my health...

There’s plenty of seating available; most of it is indoors, but there are a good amount of outdoor tables as well. Regarding the price, you can find a decent meal for under $10 at some stalls (like the taco or hot dog combos), but I’d strongly recommend bringing $20 or more if you want to really explore the different vendors.
I’d definitely come back!
Just a heads up; since it's located in a busy plaza with other restaurants, finding parking can be a bit tedious.
