The service prodvided my the kind man was exceptional, he was very knowledgeable about the birds and ducks they had. We went there to buy some starter chick feed and came back with a khaki campbell duck that my wife adored. Great mom and pop shop.

From the very beginning, the entire team has gone above and beyond to make Ollie feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. The owner is absolutely wonderful—she has always been so communicative, helpful, and thoughtful, especially when it comes to Ollie’s sensitive skin. She always takes the time to give us great recommendations and feedback, and it’s clear that she and her staff genuinely care about every dog that walks through their doors. The groomers are also so receptive to feedback and adjustments. Whether we feel something was left a little too long or simply want to make a small change to Ollie’s next groom, they always listen and are happy to work with us.
One of my favorite things is seeing Ollie’s reaction when we arrive. His tail starts wagging the moment he walks into the salon! 🥹🐾 And that says A LOT because Ollie isn’t exactly a fan of hanging out with a whole bunch of other dogs. The team knows this and lets him spend his time near the groomers instead, where he feels much more comfortable—and he absolutely loves it!
When we first started taking Ollie to get groomed, he was very nervous—especially when we would take him to PetSmart and he would have to stay in a kennel while waiting to be groomed. Over the past two years at The Dogg Lounge, we’ve watched him come out of his shell more and more. He’s now much more comfortable and trusting with the whole team and isn’t afraid to go with a different groomer when needed. He especially loves Evelinda! ❤
It’s such a good feeling to know that when we drop Ollie off, he’s not just being groomed—he’s being cared for by people who truly know him and understand what makes him comfortable and happy.
We are so grateful for everyone at The Dogg Lounge and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to any dog parent looking for a grooming salon where their pup will be treated like family. Ollie gives The Dogg Lounge two paws way up! 🐾🐾

What I can say is if she suggests something it’s because she absolutely recommends it, and she avoids unnecessary treatments whenever possible. This is also the only vet that will cut my dramatic chihuahua’s nails without meds, and if I have to wait I know it’s because she takes her time with her patients.

Taquitos de papa were great, esquisitos. Guacamole and salsas were balanced and not too spicy.
Cheesecake came warm with a caramel dipping sauce.

The place is super cute—it's actually a bike shop that also features a coffee stall inside. Their menu is definitely limited; they don't have a lot listed, but they do offer a Thai iced tea. The tea is home-brewed, which is a really nice touch! They also have a refrigerator stocked with a few different kinds of canned sodas. No food!
The only real downside is that there is no seating available. It's strictly a get-your-drink-and-go kind of place, not a cafe where you can sit down and hang out for a while. On the plus side, parking is very easy. Since it's right on a street corner, there's quite a large parking lot, which I'm assuming is built to accommodate all the cyclists who ride over.
Overall, it was a nice experience and a cool spot to grab a quick drink!

11206 Whittier Blvd, WhittierJust came by for a leisurely Labor Day early lunch and Manny did not disappoint. We ordered two #3 combos, so 6 meats and 8 sides for 4 people. We had the brisket, tri-tip, beef ribs, baby back ribs, pulled pork, and the chicken. For the sides, we had 3 smoked beans, potato salad, 2 cole slaw, and 2 mac salads. It was nothing short of a feast! The meats were well-smoked, flavorful, juicy, and Manny was as kind as he was generous and attentive. He threw in 4 free sodas, free bread, a free side (we went with an extra cole slaw), and threw on a free kielbasa as well! We couldn't finish everything and the food we took home would easily make for an extra meal for all of us. We drove all most an hour, in the rain, from Torrance; this was not our first dining experience here, and it was just this kind of generosity and service that we experienced the first time that brought us back and will continue bringing us back as long as he stays in business.
Many thanks again Manny, it definitely was the perfect way to kick off a relaxing Sunday; we came for good food, good service, a good experience overall and you did not disappoint. Much love and respect!
