The service prodvided my the kind man was exceptional, he was very knowledgeable about the birds and ducks they had. We went there to buy some starter chick feed and came back with a khaki campbell duck that my wife adored. Great mom and pop shop.

The son has so much medical knowledge and he has helped us with so much for our dog's wellbeing. It helped so much over these time that I can leave my dog without fear of being mistreated, in fact I leave my baby dog and wish my dog gets to stay and seen by Steve, so he can check her out.

I would recommend an appointment because they can get busy, they are very good after all so I see why they have so many patients.

Make sure you read reviews! Another walk-in vet had a very rude receptionist. Also they still did film X-rays (outdated as hell) and never emailed me the blood panel I requested. They were also about the same price range as this vet but not worth it at all.

Dr. Grant has shown time and time again that she is compassionate, kind, gentle and knowledgeable when it comes to handling my dog's medical concerns. She is really great at calming a very nervous pet parent, and explaining everything that is happening to my dog. She also lays out a treatment plan with you and explaining the cost as well. She's not pushy when it comes to things that can wait until next if you're not able to afford it. I really appreciate that.
Not only do I feel comfortable with Dr. Grant, but my dog Nugz 🐕 look forward to his visits with her and her team.
I live in DTLA, and driving to Whittier to visit Dr. Grant is not a problem, cause I know Nugz is in great hands, and is in the best of care. Thank you Dr. Grant!

Taquitos de papa were great, esquisitos. Guacamole and salsas were balanced and not too spicy.
Cheesecake came warm with a caramel dipping sauce.

Very similar to an Indian fry bread but a bit more crunchy. I highly recommend to eat the tacos at the restaurant. Taking the tacos home makes them soggy and fall apart. Chicken, ground beef (the picadillo), carne and pastor are all delicious.

My smoothie was delicious and tasted nutritious. No heavy sugars. The avocado toast was a perfect blend of new age and home style. Avocado was fresh and topped off with cucumber that had the right amount of crunch. My friend ordered the OG pink and pb banana bagel, which I was encouraged to try next time!

Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food this time. The owner, who was also hosting, seemed overwhelmed by the busy crowd, and it showed in the overall customer experience. We left feeling a bit disappointed, which is never how you want to feel after visiting one of your favorite places.
That said, we all have off days, especially when adjusting to a new location. The amazing food is enough to keep us coming back, just maybe on a less busy evening. If you haven’t been, I still highly recommend giving this place a try—the food truly speaks for itself.
