“Everything about this cute little motel is perfect. We love the location. It is in Seal Beach and the ocean is just a couple of blocks away. There are cute shops and restaurants all around. The rooms have balconies and their pool and hot tub are lovely. It is an open ceiling. The continental breakfast is delicious. We stay here every time for our cruise out of Long Beach. We do their park n cruise package. They shuttle us to and from and we leave our car there for the week. You can’t forget the nice warm and yummy cookies in the lobby nightly. The Pacific Inn has the friendliest and most helpful staff as well.”

“This was an amazing fun time after growing up in Southern California and always driving past but never going in. Everyone we met working on the ship was friendly and even eager to show you hidden gems and reccomendations to make our visit even better. Extra bonus were locals dressed in period cocktail suits and gowns.Walkability: The ship itself is walkable but you will need a car to go anywhere elseNoteworthy details: It is historic so dont expect high tech extras like phone chargers.”

“The service was great, the room where good but a microwave would've been a nice add. Emplacement is good but you do have to take at least a 15 min walk to get anywhere.”

“This hotel makes you feel like family. Everyone who works here is great. Especially the Ops manager Darnell and the bartender Robert. Two great guys who make the Waterfront the place to be in the evening. Definitely worth the stay. Its proximity to the outlets is great and there are food trucks most nights just a street away(definitely try the yellow truck Manny's-the fish tacos were delish). The views from the rooftop pool are wonderful. I would definitely stay here.

Rooms: Love the amenities in the rooms. Minimalist but with great flair. Storage for clothes is amazing and the bathroom is gorgeous.

Walkability: It's within blocks of everything here. The Museums, aquarium, shopping and the restaurants. The lighthouse isn't far either

Food and drinks: The waterfront has delicious food. My favorite was the French toast with banana and pecans.”

“Rooms: The rooms have a decent view and a very gentle vibe. The rooms could have been made more spacious but it is still a decent size for the location it is in.

Noteworthy details: The pool and Jacuzzi area is something that I loved”

“This absolutely stunning property is right down the street from where I live and what a treasure it is. The Fairmont elevated the beautiful architecture that already existed and created all kinds of luxurious surprises! So many different menus to choose from and so many views as well!
I mean, maybe not even go here for the restaurants just go here for the cool wallpaper and beautiful lighting!
Highly recommend!”

“The room is comfortable and has everything you need, including a capsule coffee machine, a microwave and a refrigerator, and the bedding is very comfortable to sleep on. There are also comfortable sofas and office chairs in the room, and a large desk. There is a delicious free breakfast, a free tea bag and coffee machine in the lobby, comfortable sofas and cute fireplace decorations, free parking, and a great gym. What can I say? Overall 100 points!”

“Rooms: Everything very good, clean and good equipment. We only had a problem with the shower, which the frontdesk people sent to change immediately: unfortunately the maintenance people left our room smelling of cigarette smoke.
From there everything is fine!”

“Beautiful location on the canal. Staff were super friendly and hotel was very clean(though strong disinfectant smell in lobby). Pool & jacuzzi available. Had a kitchenette unit which was very nice, with a King size bed. Nice, large walk-in shower. Continental breakfast was decent. Clean & felt safe at all times, inside & out. No restaurant or pub on site, but available at hotel Maya, down the road.”

“Everything about this hotel worked for us. The rooms were wonderful. The hotel staff was very helpful. We were leaving on an international trip but our flight wasn't until late at night. We were able to get an extension until 8pm and it was only $50. We had a lot of luggage so that was necessary. They have a lovely courtyard that we would get takeout and go sit and enjoy the view. They are walking distance to may restaurants and Manhattan Beach. They also run a complimentary shuttle back and forth.”

“Brian the security guard is the most helpful person i’ve met. Tell him he’s doing a good job please! Great room for a great price. Missed my flight and this was a comfortable option. Clean and good service.”

“Definitely an affordable option. I stayed two nights before leaving early because I blew my back out at warped tour. The front seat was very helpful and if you're looking for something affordable before heading out to whatever you have planned. This is the place.”

“We did get a deal on the room, otherwise it might be a little overpriced plus there is a $13 parking fee. Loved the room, even though we were near the pool it was still quiet. Clean and inviting. The AC was a little loud. Laundry room on site, very convenient.”

“this hampton inn came to our rescue after an absolutely nightmarish situation!! we checked into a nearby motel and saw no less than 4 roaches within 15 minutes of entering our dingy room that reeked of cigarette smoke. we booked it out of there and immediately started searching for nearby accommodation, and off the quick search, we found that this hampton inn had the best rates for the night and figured it'd be lightyears better than what we just went through. we called, and got redirected to what i assume was hampton inn's call center who, while a bit unclear with some things, secured us a reservation and we drove straight over. upon arrival, we were greeted by two ladies, von (vaughn? not sure of spelling) and katrina. we let them know of our situation and they were very sympathetic. katrina pulled up our reservation and warned that they might not have rooms left, but had two leads on possible open rooms (wish the call center guy had let us know this as well but what can you do). as she went and checked for an available room, von chatted with us and lifted my 6 year old niece's spirits, even going as far as gifting her a hawaiian airlines snack pouch. within 10 minutes of driving up, katrina and von had us fully checked into a room off of an extremely last minute and unlikely reservation. the room was everything we'd hoped for; sleek, bright, and so pristine my niece kicked off her shoes and excitedly dove into bed to kick around under the sheets giggling only minutes after she proclaimed she "unlocked a new fear and trauma: roaches in my hotel bed!!". we all slept soundly knowing we were well taken care of and in a clean room. we loved it so much we wanted to stay another night! none of us have ever been more grateful for a clean room, and it wouldn't have been possible (+ our moods would not have turned around) if it wasn't for von and katrina. thank you so so much ladies for being our saving grace in a horror story we'll be telling for years to come!”

“I like the Double Tree. The rooms have balconies. And you can sleep with the window open. The service is great!
The location of the hotel is great! Redondo can be reached on foot. Hermosa and Manhattan Beach are easily accessible by bike. The rest of LA is relaxing by car.
Feel free...”

“Modern boutique hotel that’s surprisingly affordable. Rooms are clean, stylish, and come with a mini fridge and microwave. They often have fun art and murals on the walls. Right off the 405, so easy to access. Close to the beach, Belmont Shore, and the Aquarium. Plus, they offer free breakfast and parking”

“OK this review is directed directly to Aloha Smog and not best Western it a tight spot but they’re two different buildings and I just want to make the correction at this location as well as the credit and review goes to Aloha Smog which I have been going there for a long time and they are professional. They are kind and courteous. The prices are fair. It seems like by the time you get out of your car to get tested you’re right back in and on your way out. It’s very very quick because they know exactly what they’re looking for anyway, I would like to say thank you to the whole team at Aloha Smog.”

“I loved my stay at this Courtyard. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful and the staff so friendly. My AC wasn’t working, which wasn’t a big deal to me but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. George, the engineer who came to fix it, was sharp and on it and found the problem right away. They were on it so quickly. It’s located a quick walk from the beach and the on-site parking was so handy, making the whole stay just … easy! Would definitely return! I didn’t take any photos but it was gorgeous.

Rooms: Rooms were big and comfy and had everything I needed.

Safety: This is downtown so there are homeless people but one morning when I was concerned because it was still dark they provided me an escort to my car. Super nice!

Walkability: I loved being able to walk to the beach!”

“Got norms, a burger joint, pizza and seafood. Got 711 around corner. Chevron and shell. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST I COME ALL THE TIME. JAY is so courteous and always does everything to make sure I'm happy with room and services. He's very welcoming and makes sure this place stays clean and calming. No druggies hanging out in parking lot or parties going on in rooms. It's such a great place for great price. Thanks you Epic and Jay.”

“Honestly this was one of the nicest and cleanest hotels I have stayed in in a while. Jordan L was absolutely amazing, she really made us feel extremely welcome and gave us all the information we needed and more. Great stay!!”

“This was a great place for base camp to all of the Amusement parks. We stayed for 5 days. The rooms were clean beds Comfortable and showers were good. They have a nice pool and a Jacuzzi. The breakfast was fairly decent. We rented 2 rooms and there was an issue with one of them. They were very cheerfully accommodating and immediately moved us to another room.
One word of caution, I recommend asking for a poolside and not a roadside room. The road noise can get to be a bit much.”

“The hotel is across the street from the Stonewood Mall and near a lot of places to eat like BJ's and Acapulco's. And Duncan Donuts is next door to hotel.”

3.9 Good80 Reviews

“Honestly for the price, exceeded my expectations. New sheets and towels every day, can’t complain about that. Tons of lightning, charging ports, outlets, and a tv with lots of channel options. No HDMI? The bathroom was super clean and had lots of space to get ready in. The check in/ check out process was super fast and easy. Only downside is the room floor not as clean as other areas of the room”

“One night stay in a King Suite. Great outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi area. Staff were super friendly. The restaurant food and bar beverages were also better than expected.”

“A good place to stop for the night. Convenient parking, friendly staff, decent bed and room. Walls are thin and the room smelled like cigarettes but, it was clean. You get what you pay for. Please don’t expect a Marriott for this price.”

“Want to help clarify that although Google labeled this as a hotel, it's actually a very nice B&B.

Quiet, safe, very pleasant staff, close to the downtown with lots of public transit options, at a very reasonable price price point

Would absolutely return. Highly recommend”
