“I’ve been taking my 2001 E39 M5 to a very good independent service center in LA county for over 20 years. Recently, when the ABS/ASC/DSC lights came on all at once (the “trifecta”), I took the M5 to them for repair. After weeks of working on the car and replacing the ABS module and master cylinder, the computer still indicated a problem. Finally, the owner said that as he couldn’t fix the problem that he wouldn’t charge me, but I needed to take it somewhere else. I asked him where I should take it and he said Bullet Performance. Boy, was he right! Mickey, the owner, worked on it personally. He too had problems matching up the ABS/ASC/DSC components, replacing numerous parts until he figured out that the OEM master cylinders being supplied were defective from the manufacturer. Long story short, Mickey fixed the problem for what I thought was a very reasonable price given the hours he took to troubleshoot the problem. Highly recommended!!!”

Not only did he find the problem and fix it for free, he also cleaned out the drains which were clogged so my trunk didn’t flood the next time it rained. AAA convertible has been the BEST and I wouldn’t still have my car without them!”

“I have never been so in awe and appreciative of a mechanic in my life! When I purchased my 2023 GLB 250 a month ago, I found Star Motor Werks on Yelp and reached out to see if they were available to do a full vehicle inspection to make sure I purchased a quality used car without hidden problems. Having inquired first via Yelp, Geoff and his team were quick to respond and offered a competitive price for the used car vehicle inspection. The day after I purchased my car, Geoff was able to get my car in so he and his well-trained team could thoroughly inspect it. Although the shop is small, they were able to finish the inspection by the end of the day and spent time with my husband and me explaining in detail everything Geoff observed. He emailed and went over a detailed report. After that, he was able to educate us on how to take care of my first Mercedes so it will last a long time. The care and concern, honesty and integrity Geoff displayed was heartwarming. All of the people who work at Star Motor Werks are truly wonderful. Leaving the shop, I felt happy that I purchased this car, confident in the Mercedes brand, and relieved that we discovered our new mechanic for the life of the car. I should have written a Yelp review immediately after this fantastic experience, but a few weeks passed and time got away from me. Unfortunately, less than a month after buying my new Mercedes, I was rear ended at a stoplight on my way to work. I was devastated upon impact, but my car didn't look too bad. The way it felt and sounded during the crash did not match how good my car looked. My husband was concerned about possible damage not seen with the naked eye, so he called Geoff at Star Motor Werks to see if he could check it out for us. Geoff said they were super busy that day, but he said my husband could drop it off. My husband dropped off my car and Geoff was able to inspect it for us by end of day. Thank goodness my husband called Geoff because there was in fact damage to my car that he found under the bumper. Geoff took a video of the damage and gave us a detailed report. He even had a solid suggestion for a body shop that we can trust to do the work on my car. I appreciate how thorough, honest, helpful, and kind Geoff is. It is very rare when you leave a mechanic's shop feeling better than when you went in, and in both trips to Star Motor Werks, we left feeling grateful. In the future, I will always bring my car to Geoff and his team at Star Motor Werks, from oil changes to any car challenges. I wish every business owner was this conscientious, trustworthy, and pleasant.”

“I cannot begin to describe the service I received from Jake and Buzz! I was in the area for a conference when my car just died. I was in a parking lot with a car full of luggage and supplies. AAA came out and tried to jump it to no avail, then couldn’t get the car in neutral to put it in the lift, I had to be somewhere at 5:00 pm, I called the shop and Jake coordinated with AAA to wait for the car (after hours). I Ubered to my hotel, from the parking lot, Jake kept me in the loop the entire time. The next morning Buzz called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up. I Ubered during lunch and met the guys in person, these are two of the nicest, most honest mechanics I’ve ever met!
