“Best Western Plus in Dixon is a clean & friendly place to stay. Easy access to or from Highway 80. The rooms are clean there is free parking, free wifi & breakfast from 7 to 10 am. Kids are welcome even pets (for an additional fee) the hotel is wheelchair accessible. I stayed in a room with a king-size bed the room is very spacious. Don't think twice just book it! The customer service is awesome. This is a great hotel to spend the night if you're headed to Lake Tahoe or San Francisco.”
“I had a slight problem with a food order. I sent it back, not thinking I'd be reimbursed.
However the manager Mrs. VB ended up handling it for me. And I can be a pain in the butt. Thanks, overall a good stay.”

“This is our second time back to this hotel. We choose to come back to this hotel for one reason. That is the great staff. Calab and his Brother were the best most helpful front desk people. I am disabled, so my wife ask lot of questions about our room. They answered all our questions and really made us feel welcome. They deserve a raise!!!”

“never thought I’d say this, but a boutique hotel — the Aggie Inn — gave me more comfort, dignity, and support than the entire institution of UC Davis ever did.
Let’s be real: UC Davis is a bloated, bureaucratic disappointment. For a school that charges insane tuition and hides behind flashy “rankings,” it’s astonishing how little it offers in return. Campus services? Slow and rude. Classes? Overcrowded and soulless. Support? Nonexistent unless you beg for it. And let’s not even start on the campus stores — pure money-grabbing scams dressed up as “student resources.” The whole place feels like it was designed to exploit students, not educate them.
Now contrast that with the Aggie Inn — a hotel, mind you — which actually delivered what it promised. Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Respectful treatment. A quiet environment. Real service. You walk in and they actually care about your experience — imagine that.
UC Davis couldn’t manage a housing office properly, yet the Aggie Inn makes every check-in smooth.
UC Davis overcharges for garbage meals and housing, while Aggie Inn provides value, comfort, and peace.
UC Davis treats you like a number. Aggie Inn treats you like a person.
Here’s the truth: I’ve had more meaningful, intelligent, and respectful experiences inside a hotel lobby than I did in an entire year at UC Davis.
If you’re a high-achieving student who expects real standards, real challenge, and real support — don’t come here. UC Davis is where ambition goes to die, buried under red tape, low expectations, and a fake “inclusive” culture that masks total mediocrity. They’ll smile while they waste your time, your money, and your future.
So yeah — if you’re ever in Davis, skip the school. Book a night at the Aggie Inn. It’s smarter, cleaner, and far more honest than anything happening across the street at UC Davis.”

“My room at the Abbey House Inn exceeded my expectations! First of all, I so appreciated all of the accessories stocked in the bathroom, as I had walked out of my house without my overnight bag. Everything I left at home was available there for me.
The 'snacks' provided were outstanding! There were so many options, especially in the refrigerator. I enjoyed a midnight snack and breakfast.
The inn itself was very comfortable. I loved all of the small tables and chairs on the porch and along the fence.
I did find the bed pillows too soft, but I just used one of the decorator pillows and that solved the problem.”

“The staff was fantastic! Very welcoming from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. It's in a good location near downtown Davis. I stayed in a room with all the amenities of home within reach. Free breakfast and a nice bar where you could order wings, pizza, and small bites to enjoy.”

“I really liked this hotel and recommend it without hesitation. The rooms are clean and have everything one needs, but the absolute best part is the service. The staff is amazing, and everyone goes out of their way to make sure that you have a great stay.
Walkability: Easy to walk to campus from the hotel. Plenty of restaurants nearby.”

“We only stayed one night, it was a very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was an assortment and well-stocked. The front desk also held our luggage for us as we were traveling by train and did not leave until late in the evening.”

“Check-in was a little rough because I booked through a third-party site — absolutely not the staff’s fault. They worked hard to fix the issue and get me settled. (Thank you, Pablo!)
Breakfast was good and even had a waffle maker, which was a nice bonus. There’s a single washer/dryer on the 3rd floor, and vending machines on the main floor, but they’re cash only — e-pay options would make things much easier.
The hotel could use a few updates, including the bed. It wasn’t bad, just a bit older and could be more comfortable with an upgrade. Built-in personal care amenities would also be helpful.
Customer service was exceptional, and I’d stay again based on that alone. Great team!”
“Love staying here if you don't mind the train horns between 1am and 8am. Earplugs provided. Rooms super clean comfy and equipped with refrigerator coffee maker and microwave. Def worth the price!! ?”

“I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. It's right in the middle of downtown Davis, so you are right in the middle of everything that downtown has to offer. The hotel rooms are very nice and clean, they are quiet, the staff is great, and the TV's have channels and YouTube on them for watching. The wifi is also free. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Davis.”
“I want to give a special thanks to the maintenance man Alex for assisting my grandparents , with directions, information , and just being friendly. That really means alot to us. I definitely recommend this place it's full of great staff.”

“The staff is seriously the nicest staff I've dealt with at a hotel. They have superior customer service. Room are clean and it very convenient to I80 but no road noise. Highly recommended. I have an executive king (w sofa sleeper) for reference to the photos, nice large desk area, 2 TVs $143 per night! Very reasonable. First hotel I've stayed at who didn't downgrade their customer service (and I travel a LOT across the US). *Obviously my blanket on the bed lol”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Work in Progress — and Progress is Being Made
When we first arrived at the Extended Stay in Vacaville, it was honestly a bit rough. We encountered issues like cockroaches, overflowing sinks, and some questionable activity happening around the building. It didn’t exactly inspire confidence.
However, I’m writing this 5-star review because what came next truly impressed me. Instead of ignoring the problems, the team here got to work. They’ve made continuous efforts to clean up, improve the property, and make this a more comfortable place to stay.
Carrie, in particular, has been a standout. She doesn’t just listen — she acts. Her responsiveness and willingness to address concerns immediately has made a huge difference during our time here. Her care and attention have helped transform what could have been a nightmare into a much more pleasant and comfortable stay.
This hotel still has room to grow, but the commitment to improvement is real — and that’s what earns my respect and my five stars.”
“I am a resident here. I lived here for two years now. I've seen a variety of people come and go. If it wasn't for the help from the manger, my family would be out on the streets. He has been an awesome host for myself and family. I will give him 10stars. Grated there are roaches. But they are next to impossible to get rid of them. When there are so many people going in and out. Any rental apartment in Davis has them. It depends on how much of a slob and horder you are.”

“High deposit fee!! Booked online, so it was a hassle when they asked for credit cards, cash and my id. When I didn’t have those things they denied me my room. Lucky I live locally so I went home, got my things and came back. The room was actually pretty great! It was clean! Spotless even. The AC worked great! Compared to other places in my town, this is a great choice! Also it’s centrally located. You can walk next door to nugget market and go shopping at the Nut Tree (that’s what I did) there’s so many restaurants there.
Con: there was a homeless man riding a bike in the lot but police did come out promptly.”

“Seems like a great spot unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances I missed my reservation. Although a no refund policy was in place had I not booked using Booking.com the manager was going to make an exception due to my vehicle getting a flat that lead to 1 day delay only 20 miles from them. Management is very receptive and willing to help if possible. Booking.com reminds me of the corrupt politician type who even though an exception was going to be allowed it was not possible to get an actual person from booking to confirm the exception. Instead an arbitration and the form to begin that arbitration is so exacting in how it must be submitted it made dme feel as if I were battling in the supreme courts. Except the formalities are less personal dealing with Booking.com surprisingly enough. I would definitely book a stay here just not through booking which I had no idea it highjacked my Google search so I would block booking.com before filling out any online stays at any hotels. The people at this Motel 6 are great though.”
“This is not your run of the mill Motel 6. The hotel previously was a Microtel. Large rooms; lots of TV channels with a large TV screen; the rooms are very clean & comfortable; no charge for dogs and a very fair price for the room. Grass in front of the hotel to take the dog potty with a poop bag dispenser & disposal can. The area is safe; there are restaurants, various businesses and a Safeway in walking distance. When I am in the Sacramento area, I try to stay here.
Not to forget the sparkling pool & jacuzzi.”
