“What a fun stop along a road trip! Korra was such a helpful guide on book recommendations and a very knowledgeable employee. Nice variety of books! I loved the AAPI month display of books as there were great creative finds I would not have seen in a large corporate bookstore. Very cozy bookstore vibes.”

“My all time favorite book store it is so important that this store is still alive and running in 2026 such a beautiful thing that people actually still read. I love the story because it is so comfy clean and just makes me feel right at home. Staff is always wonderful and helpful. I even love shopping online because they have great sales. I enjoy book signings I enjoy sitting having a cup of coffee, sometimes even a pastry….”

“i see that a lot of the negative reviews mention the prices of the toys being too expensive and i just have to add my two cents. there’s a LE about 45 minutes from me, and their prices are pretty much the same as the one in san ramon. i don’t think the prices are too high at all, i think they’re extremely fair and also not always under the control of LE. for example, i go to LE purely for jellycats. jellycats are relatively expensive no matter where you buy them, but LE always has an amazing selection and the first time i ever went to the one in san ramon, i found a jellycat that has been retired for so long, and is very rare and hard to find, AND THEY WERE SELLING HIM FOR HIS RETAIL PRICE! that is amazing. just a different perspective”

“I came and was greeted by 3 cute kids who clearly had a lot of fun at their grandmas shop! They have beautiful curated gifts and I love how she decorated/ style the store. Every town needs a curated goods boutique store / gift shop and so glad Pleasanton has this gem.”
