“I enjoyed a calligraphy class hosted here with a lovely instructor, Carissa. The pace of the class was perfect. Carissa took one-on-one time with each participant. Beyond a bevy of supplies and practice worksheets, we were offered speciality teas, flavored waters, cookies, and sweets. Of course, the best takeaway was the personal insight on techniques, tips, and preferred tools that cannot be picked up in books or video snippets.”

“What a fun stop along a road trip! Korra was such a helpful guide on book recommendations and a very knowledgeable employee. Nice variety of books! I loved the AAPI month display of books as there were great creative finds I would not have seen in a large corporate bookstore. Very cozy bookstore vibes.”

“This little bookstore is a true gem. The selection is thoughtfully curated, and the staff are exceptionally friendly; they check in regularly and genuinely want to help. It is refreshing to have a place like this in our part of town. I hope more small businesses join the neighborhood and bring even more life to the area. If you are nearby, stop in and pick up a book or two to help this wonderful shop continue to thrive.”

“Great place to get your hands on the latest books. For the readers, it's an amazing place to hang out and get lost in exploring all those interesting reads. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. Kids have a large collection of books and toys to explore, and the reading corner for them is fun where there are story times arranged. My kids have a great time coming in here.
Different genres, toys, collectibles, stationery, and more. There's also a Starbucks inside with really good baristas.

After shopping at Barnes and noble, the joint out has a lot of eating spots and the movie theaters too. A fun place to hang out. Definitely recommend!!”

“When I moved away from the Bay Area I realized I left behind one of the best Islamic bookstores EVER! Now every time I visit home I go to pick up the latest books. A beautiful and thoughtfully curated collection of books for kids and adults alike, Rumi Bookstore NEVER disappoints (only my budget stops me from buying out the store!). It is my honor to shop and support local. I cannot recommend enough!”

“It’s great to have a bookstore back in San Ramon after many years. This place is small but well-stocked, with a friendly owner and comfy chairs to consider your purchases.”

“I'm into calligraphy (both Western and Chinese) so I come here every so often to hunt for treasures. Found a reprint of classic works by master calligraphers from ancient China the last time I was there!”

“We visited Towne center books after we had our book club meeting at maple street eatery and it was such a lovely shop with all the new books in many genres. We were even able to pick up our next read here - first time caller! We were so glad it was close by and had what we needed.”

“i see that a lot of the negative reviews mention the prices of the toys being too expensive and i just have to add my two cents. there’s a LE about 45 minutes from me, and their prices are pretty much the same as the one in san ramon. i don’t think the prices are too high at all, i think they’re extremely fair and also not always under the control of LE. for example, i go to LE purely for jellycats. jellycats are relatively expensive no matter where you buy them, but LE always has an amazing selection and the first time i ever went to the one in san ramon, i found a jellycat that has been retired for so long, and is very rare and hard to find, AND THEY WERE SELLING HIM FOR HIS RETAIL PRICE! that is amazing. just a different perspective”

“There is a temporary book store open in building 4 second floor mask required. They have curve side pick up if you email ahead with response. Chris and Sarah were helpful with my demands and even more. For that reason I give the temporary bookstore set up this review. Thanks”
