“I had been dealing with my car swaying for months, and everywhere I went I was told it was an alignment issue. Over the past year, I was told I had control arms replaced, had two alignments done, went through four tires, and even replaced all my struts and shocks—yet the car still didn’t drive properly. I took it to two different places, including the dealership, and no one could actually pinpoint or fix the problem.
I found Carlo on a whim while looking for yet another alignment after replacing my front tires for the third time in less than a year. After having my car for about an hour, Carlo called me and explained exactly what was wrong. It turned out my control arms were completely shot—the same ones I had already paid to have replaced elsewhere.
Carlo was able to fix everything, along with additional work (rear brakes, bushings, and an oil change), all within 24 hours. My car now drives perfectly.

I took my car to JB Auto Repair on Greenfield Dr. in El Cajon after I was led by the Holy Spirit. I had a problem with my car and was desperate to get it repaired by someone trustworthy. I was skeptical because women get ripped off by mechanics all the time, and I've been a victim of my own ignorance. Well, turns out God was right about this company. They were beyond honest with the problem, and beyond fair in their prices. I'm still in disbelief I finally have a mechanic who I can trust and know they will get the job done, and won't try and rob me blind! Thank You Jesus and thank you JB Auto Repair! I also got a tune-up, and oil change for my 2015 Nissan Altima. The total price was reasonable, the job was completed within four hours. Antonio is very polite and professional. There was a little rattling sound after they replaced the cabin air filter, but it turned out to be just a small leaf. “Caliber's staff is quite friendly and personable, and they took my Volvo V60 within a week of my dropping it off. Jacob even gave me a ride home. Their technician found and replaced a weak leak detection pump in the EVAP system which caused a P0442 code, triggering the CEL. I bought and delivered the part from the local dealer to bring to them before leaving for the bay area that weekend. The car was finished the Monday I returned despite it being a tricky job. My only complaint would be that the drivers seat bottom was so visably dirty that it took two automotive wipes to clean it up before I even sat in it. The interior is cream colored and it does exhibit dirt a little too well. Perhaps a floor mat on the seat would have helped this matter. Overall, I'm quite satisfied and my car should pass inspection when the time inevitably comes.”
