“Love the stuff they have especially for the prices. The cleaning supplies are amazing. They had the photographed scraper. I had to use it to remove very old drawer liner that ripped into small really stuck pieces. It worked great. They also have Lil brushes that are really good at cleaning between the faucet knob and the faucet itself. They have gift wrap and bags, coin purses, reusable shopping bags, socks, school supplies, arts and crafts supplies, camping supplies, kitchen utensils, storage containers, stickers, yard and gardening supplies, toys, pet supplies, snacks and some food, cold drinks, bathroom and hygiene supplies. Best of all it starts at $1.50.”

“Nice, neat Daiso in Koreatown. This one is on the smaller side, but had an excellent selection of storage/organization items. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking wasn't the best. We found a meter on the street, but it looks like there is a garage for the mall.”

The equipment they have is more than enough for a great workout.Is an amazing experience to go and workout where many big names of the body building used to train together.You can just go and take pictures.If you want to actually train you need to pay a 10 USD day pass at an office that is next to it.Public parking lot at venice beach is 9 USD per day. And is like 3 min walking distance.You will meet regulars to the gym, but also many people who is just visiting, like I did.”

“If you would like the ultimate American (maybe more Californian) cultural experience come visit Hawthorne Burlington! I arrived at around 3:50pm on a Saturday and was greeted by the bouncer (loss prevention) who told me to smile for the camera before she unlatched the velvet rope (retractable partitions). Dressing rooms are no longer open or staffed but if you do manage to find a piece of clothing you like in a sea of hot mess, there are two cashiers available to take payment from people who actually decided to do a good deed today and pay the store instead of just walking out nonchantly despite the "we prosecute shoplifters" signs. Ok, here I am the sucker waiting in line to pay enjoying the ambiance of this loud ringing alarm coming from the back emergency exit, noticing the line is slowing down because we lost a cashier who went to chase down some shoftlifters (somebody pay this lady more please!) What a ride, and unlike in Disneyland Splash Mountain, I would love to purchase my reaction photo from Burlington Loss Prevention to capture memory of this epic experience.”

“It was POURING RAIN which is unusual for Redondo Beach. I ran into kohl's hoping to find boots for my daughter. The only pair in black her size was the display.. but only 1 side was there. . I looked everywhere in the section and then Regina. Saw me searching and ask if she ould help me find what I was looking for, so I asked for her assistance... she called Lina to help and within minutes Lina found them God knows where. . I was promptly checked out, got good use of my kohl's cash and was happy. Thank you Regina and Lina!”

“Definitely pay attention to the price points, things can be a bit confusing. They do have signs with the price configurations but it's still confusing. I went for items for wine tasting. They have nice glasses & flutes, both glass and plastic. The glass ones had this iridescent shine, & the plastic ones were heavy duty definitely can see them lasting if they get dropped. I settled for the plastic. They had so much other stuff, I got some cards and envelopes. They had nice boards from charcuterie possibly. I decided to get a coffee too (terrible decision the coffee was horrible). Definitely will be back for party favors!”

“The most excellent service in recent memory was provided by furniture department manager, Andrew, at this Big Lots location. He explained the difference between furniture brands, the pros and cons of mattress selection in particular. His advice helped me to see the value and importance in investing in the long term by getting the better quality, (tho more expensive) brands. This was a lesson that my grandfather taught me decades ago, but that had somehow with all these commercials these days had slipped my mind. Bottom line, talk to Andrew when you need furniture.”

“Jose, the manager of this WLA store on Olympic & Sawtelle was AMAZING. He was so patient with my comedy of errors. First, this manager was working as a cashier to keep the line flowing and minimize the wait. He answered my many questions (right size of pants? which pair was cuter to him?). Then we both realized I needed my phone to pull up my latest rewards! I left my phone in my car on the 2nd floor (horror). He said he would wait for me and hold the transaction. He did and I returned. Then the most recent rewards I pulled up on my mobile had been used. (Burning more of Jose’s time). I had to log in, create a new PW to access my truly latest reward on the store site (ugh) to finally complete this transaction. Jose was an angel, he never lost his cool (I did numerous times). I told him he was an angel, so patient. Rare and exceptional service. He was not even trying, a natural. And his team was also nice and helpful. Thank you, Jose!!!Btw, my phone turned out to be in my shopping bag on me, not in my car, ay dios!”

Sure, it is easy, they've even made returns and refunds easy, so that became part of my way of life. And then one day, the need came up: a purchase had to be made on a STAT level and whatever was needed could be found here. And I did. And then some. Their clearance sections are fantastic! Designer brands at discounted prices across the board. I scored lotions, clothing and even accessories at extra bargain buys! I planned on only buying one (maybe two) things. “Jeanette in the make up department Anastasia section to be exact was more than amazing!! I went to pick up some orders for an impending trip. I work across the street so this store is super convenient and I frequent it often. I walked all 3 floors and not one sales associates approached me, even in the shoe department. Correction the young men at the Nike station did, very pleasant. I had my eye on a creamy blush from Anastasia for quite some time and decided to pick one up. I was trying on the different colors when a sweet voice asks of I needed help, it was Jeanette and she was actually helping another customer. All tree of us hit it off and spent about 20 min talking laughing at was such a nice experience. The customers name was Jennifer and I am Joanna ! I gave us a nickname the 3J's Jeannette Jennifer & Joanna! Definitely going back but only for Jeanette!”
