“You can find better prices at Walmart, but most of the stores are a TOTAL MESS! Good luck finding items in stock! They usually only keep office items well stocked right before school starts.I have been shopping at the Emeryville Office Depot for years. The store is ALWAYS clean, organized and well stocked!!I have never had a problem finding things in this store and if I can’t, there is always someone to help me.If I end up paying a little more, that is better than driving all the way to a Walmart, wasting my time and gas only to find that they don’t carry, or are out of stock of what I am looking for.As far as Amazon…I DON’T want to pay for shipping. I DON’T want to pay a yearly fee to get free shipping. I DON’T want my order stolen off of my porch and I DON’T want to drive to a pick up location!I DO like going into a store to browse around and see what is available as well as seeing and talking to people.The cashier, Maneesha is super friendly and Charles is always asking customers if they need help. Great store for office supplies! The one thing I do miss is some of the quirky / fun things they would get for their Black Friday / Christmas sales.”

David is very knowledgeable and approachable—but not pushy, which is important! The store was a browser's paradise, and the saleswoman was patient and helpful in showing me not only some of the special-edition Safaris but quite a few of the even nicer pens. “My laser printer suddenly stopped feeding paper and I needed to print out COVID documents for an upcoming trip to Europe. I followed the manufacturer's instructions to clean the rollers, but it still wouldn't work. I called Printer Plus and was told that it could possibly be fixed the same day. Google showed that the shop wasn't too busy during lunch hour, so I took my printer in after 12PM and was the only customer there. Vinh came out and helped carry my printer in. After I explained the problem, he opened the paper tray and immediately identified a broken part, which he had in stock. It took just a few minutes for him to let me know the cost for parts and labor. He told me to go shopping and return in an hour. When I got back, he demonstrated that the printer was repaired and I was on my way. So nice to have such great service, plus Vinh is a very nice guy! I'd recommend his services to anyone who would like to keep a working printer rather than send it to the junk pile.”

Had to exchange an item (not the seller's fault, I just needed something different), and the seller was gracious and diligent as always, even though they stood to make no money from the exchange. I will ALWAYS buy my office furniture from Cycon!! =)This place is the best! “The folks at Relax the Back on Van Ness/SF are AMAZING - I bought an X-Chair from them in May 2023 (which I LOVE), and a few months later the vibrating heater stopped working. I called the store to ask what I should do (there's a 3-year warranty on the X-Chairs), and one of the managers, Pam, told me they had a replacement at the store for this, and I could just come by and pick it up. I told her I would need to make arrangements and get back to them, as I live in Novato (North Bay) which is about 30 miles away. Pam asked me which exit in Novato, and when I told her, she said she would come to my house and drop off the part and install the new one for me. I was flabbergasted! I don't remember the last time I got customer service like this! It turns out that Pam lives not too far from me, and she was happy to drop by on her way home from work and install the new part. She showed up right when she said she would, and it took about 3 minutes for her to change out the part. It works great! I would give this store 100 stars if I could, they are absolutely wonderful and their products are top of the line.”

“I called Advance Office Machines about repairing my personal paper shredder. The owner asked what the problem was and he basically gave me troubleshooting tips. He recommended I go on you tube and try to fix it myself. Instead of trying to get me to bring it in, he said it would make more sense to buy a new one, if I can't fix it. “Stopped by today for a few snack items. I got a banana and a yogurt drink for 3.99. The banana was fresh and the yogurt drink was good as well. The have a little section where they sell sandwiches and tamales. They have a wide variety of drinks and food items (both refrigerated, frozen, and dry). They also sell school supplies. I wish I had more time to look around but I will definitely visit again. Employees were kind and they take EBT!”
