“My first and recent experience with OnPoint Auto Shop was a lifesaver for me! They were quick, honest and thorough with great customer service and excellent mechanics!! My 1999 Ford Taurus was in great hands with On Point saving me lots of money and getting my auto in super working condition in a short time much to my relief.
I say this because my auto was given a probable death sentence by my local auto shop after they did a commuter diagnostic test on the engine the day after my car started steaming and smoking on the freeway in late afternoon congested traffic in San Diego. They said they couldn’t fix it and recommended I take it to an engine repair shop. But they couldn’t recommend any.
But AI could… the top recommendation was MJM Engine in Escondido who said that with codes I gave them, I didn’t need an engine shop but an auto repair shop. Then they said the VERY BEST AUTO SHOP WAS ON POINT AUTO!! And I’m so grateful for On Point And this is coming from a single older female..
Highly recommend On Point to everyone!”
“Brought in my 2019 Honda Accord because there was a loud scraping noise behind my tire. They quickly diagnosed it as a bent dust shield that was rubbing against my rotor. They were able to bend it back and informed me there was no damage to the rotor. Everyone was super friendly and explained everything on detail. Great customer service and a fair price!”
“My regular mechanic was a bit flakey and unreliable so I was in need of a good trusting mechanic near my house and found this place. Juan always answers the phone, always at the shop and is ready to work. I can tell he is knowledgeble, experienced and love his profession. He is so very charismatic person and also friendly amd respectful. He always explained the details and the process extra well to me in English since Im a female with less mechanic knowledge. He charges very fair and clear. Im grateful to have a good mechanic I can call anytime. Thank you and I will recommend to my friends family :)”
“If you are looking for not only an excellent ,affordable and honest mechanic look no more the guys at Best Way Engine have service my cars for over Nineteen years and are all off the above and more the owner Sergio and his boys are highly recommended .”
“Very professional and quality service!

Special thanks to Austin to go a level deeper on details and recommendations.”
“I have a fabulous experience with grand garage. Bruce and Janet were both great communicators - they explained everything kindly and clearly, they did a great job of getting my car running smoothly, and were careful to reach out whenever there was a change to the repairs or something that they wanted me to weigh in on. I will absolutely be headed back to grand garage next time my car is in need to repairs!”

“This place gets the job done. Was easy to schedule an appointment. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. I was here for an oil change, and used their $80 coupon where you get an oil change (they provide the oil) plus brake check, inspections, and top off fluids. Seems like everything is functioning well post-visit, so I recommend this place and would return.”

“I am so happy I found Kotter’s in Escondido I’ve been traveling in my vintage VW Bus. I found Kotter’s it was recommended on a local San Diego Volkswagen Facebook page. Grateful for that post. I took my bus to Kotter’s they not only fix the issues that I had but nonchalantly fixed an issue with my gear oil leaking that I was told by two different mechanics it would cost me around 2000 dollars. They fixed all my issues well below that price. If you have a love of these old buses and have one yourself do yourself a favor and take it to Kotter’s you won’t be disappointed.”
“Changing the Tesla battery solved the problem perfectly. The experience was great - the owner was very friendly and patient. I'll definitely go to him again if my car needs anything in the future. Friends who need it, I'd recommend giving it a try”

“I had a cracked windshield that needed to be replaced and I'm happy I chose Pars to do the job. From start to finish, Mike was easy to work with and had great communication! They are affordable and do a really good job. I was able to drop my car off on Monday and pick it up Tuesday afternoon. They even tried to salvage the stickers I had on my old windshield so I didn't have to get replacements. I will definitely be back for future service and repairs.”
“Brent and Rick are the best! I’ve had them go through two velvet drives for me. I had an issue on the install of the second drive. They tackled it for me that day. Stopped everything to help me out. As long as I’m in San Diego they’ll be the guys rebuilding my velvet drives.”

“I was working on my Mercedes 722.6 transmission and broke the plastic clip in the valve body that connects to the internal shift lever. This part is not offered by Mercedes. I bought a donor valve body from Z&A. He talked me through some technical details and was very informative and helpful. I would take my vehicle to this shop!”
“Needed a windshield replacement, he was able to find one, did the replacement, explained the one year guarantee, all of that in 3 hours. We are happy customers!!Thank you for the extra mileService: Auto windshield replacement”
“Fantastic!! My 2007 sienna needed a major tuneup with check engine light on. This is a major undertaking as many parts have to be moved to access some spark plugs. Also needed a new MAF Air flow sensor for better fuel mileage. This project normally takes several hours, but Jose and his staff had it done in three hours. He told me exactly how much it would cost and gave me a fair deal. Very experienced and knowledgeable about vehicles and would highly recommend this shop for all your vehicle repairs.”
