“Bourbon fans rejoice. A liquor store with good to fair prices, employees who seem to know something about their product, and are friendly. Now, from my limited experience, no one will call this place refined, the employees clearly partake in what they sell (a plus for me), but when I am in their for 20 minutes browsing their selection, it is clear that they have many regulars and this is there go to spot. It is easy to see why. They have some hard to find bourbons and reasonable prices, Eagle Rare and Henry McKenna 10 year.”
“I've been going here for many years, when it was Tony and Harry, they are great. Now its Loli and Harry. Loli was very quiet when I first met him, Now that he knows me he's very nice and friendly. Harry is the best, I've really enjoyed knowing him. It's a great shop.”

“This gas station usually has the cheapest prices in my area and is normally very clean which is rare at other places. The staff is always nice and respectful especially the tall young man. sometimes the arthritis in my hands makes it hard to pump gas and whenever I need help he makes sure I’m taken care of with absolutely no attitude and a positive demeanor. This is my favorite gas station to go to great prices and service”

“I just wanted to give a shoutout to the 7/11 store and especially to one of the employees, Sumer. Every time I come in, he’s super helpful, friendly, and just overall chill to talk to. Whether I’m grabbing a quick snack or need help finding something, he’s always there with a great attitude and a smile. It honestly makes my day so much better, and I really appreciate the awesome customer service. Sumer is definitely a big reason I keep coming back to this location!”
“$3.43 a gallon for gas yesterday! I got my power drinks 2 for $$ prices, cigarette discount on 2 packs of Marlboro for less than ampm for sure. I had no idea that other places were less expensive! So far it’s Kwik serv then 7-11 then ampm! Clean gas station, bathrooms, and even have soap in their window cleaning buckets outside! Receipt paper and didn’t just look through me, they heard me when i sarcastically exaggerated being a person and they were funny and got my dry sense of humor. Oh and air pumps for tire self service. A nice addition to the community.”

“I stopped there yesterday 5/23 and was experiencing a medical issue, the man and woman working there went above and beyond helping me as I was disoriented and needed assistance while I waited for help. Their kindness and attention while also performing their jobs did not go unnoticed and I sent a compliment to Chevron HQ. 10/10 would barf there again... and get gas. Thank you!!!”

“It's great ! except when certain employees are working & close the restrooms at night. It's a little inconvenient when one night driving home gotta pee it's open. However another night it's closed & you really have to pee . And I get off work late and have a long drive. I feel like some employees might be too lazy to clean them. not sure but it's crazy how they are open all day long no problems.”

“I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the pharmacy. My experience was fantastic. They had all staff at each station for prescriptions which meant practically no wait time to pick up my medicine. They filled all 3 of my prescriptions same day the doctor sent them. Yes there is a long wait at the drive thru ,its only 1 window. Going inside was super fast. The employee that helped me was friendly. Will be going here from now on!”

“One of my least favorite things to do is having to fill my tank up with gas. Unless you're the less than 5% of the population that drives an electric vehicle, then the majority of us find ourselves having to cope with inflated fuel prices; especially in the State of California. This is where "Safeway Fuel Station" comes to mind. The location I am focusing on is adjacent to the Safeway directly at the corner of Dewey Dr. and Madison Ave. in Fair Oaks.The main reason why I keep coming back here is that their prices are actually quite reasonable. And when I say reasonable, I mean they are just a few cents higher than Costco (in Citrus Heights) which can lead to much longer wait times. Additionally, this fuel station has very generous hours of operation being open for business 7 days a week from 5am-11pm. I do want to point out that if you pay with cash or use your debit card, prices are generally 10¢ lower than credit. And this applies to regular, plus, and premium. Furthermore, this fuel station also has pumps for diesel fuel.What I noticed in early-2023 is that they did a complete upgrade on their gas pumps and machines making it much easier to read. If you are a Safeway club member and do your fair share of shopping there, you are eligible for gas reward discounts. However, this is if you spend a LOT there meaning every $1000 spent gets you a 10¢ discount on your fuel. At least that is what I notice. Aside from that, this fuel station is never that busy and there are two different ways to enter/exit; through Madison Ave. or on Dewey Dr.With that said and done, I am being generous and giving the "Safeway Fuel Station" an above average four star rating. Prices are reasonable and usually fairly comparable to the other fuel station, "Kwik Serv" across the street. So to many that are on a budget and don't wish to spend more at Shell, Chevron, or 76, give this place a try.”
