βFairfield should have more stores such as Spice for Less. I love the friendly smiles. The prices are amazing. The spices are supreme quality, so if you're looking for supreme... Spice for Less has it. The food is so good. You'll find what's needed when needed. Find out for yourself. Thank you to all at Spice for Less.🪷🙏🏽β
βI love that they have fresh sweet bread… but it’s never consistently the same so the one I like is rare to come across because I don’t go often 😭 but the store is near by and great when you run out of a product and can go in an out. The parking lot is also very small and hard to get in and out!β
βI normally only shop on base for groceries. It's more convenient, but the options are incredibly limited. Then, there was a fire at the commissary, so we had to go off-base for any frozen/refrigerated goods or produce. I'd never been to this location, and the girl at the cash register gave me the discount for military, even though I'd come on the wrong day.
Then, about a week later, I decided to try out the online shopping. Literally so easy to use. They give you a phone number to text the e-shoppers with questions or additions. Maleah and Riley were absolute rockstars. Literal 10/10, deserve raises.β
βThe Fairfield grocery store exceeded expectations with its attention to detail. The butcher counter actually explained the difference between their grass-fed and grain-finished cuts, which I rarely see. The bakery offered fresh sourdough that still had a warm crust, and the cheese section carried brands you don’t usually find outside specialty shops. It felt curated rather than mass-produced.β
βThe commissary has been a staple in our family as long as I can remember. As a guest with my mother the commissary was very clean and organized. With many items not found off base. There is one issue a cashier I think his name is Greg tall black man with little braids. His name was spoken many times in line as to being rude and or discourteous. Many older females did not want to go to his check out lane due to his behavior.β
βThe ownerβs handmade food is very delicious. Itβs already packed, so you can just visit the shop, pick it up, and go. I usually pick up her kimchi, fish cake, anchovies, cucumber kimchi, and gimbap. She recently expanded her menu.β
βPopped into Grocery Outlet in Fairfield for a quick run and left feeling like I’d won a small, unexpected lottery. The place has that wonderful scavenger-hunt energy—you never know what you’ll find, but you’re almost always pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and the checkout line moved fast, which counts for a lot in my book.
My only mild gripe, and I say this with a grin, is that the treasure-hunt vibe can work against you when you’re trying to remember exactly what you came for. I wandered out with a cart full of happy discoveries and absolutely none of the things on my list. But honestly? That’s a pretty good problem to have. I’ll be back, probably with a written list next time.β
βThis store was great to shop at , friendly staff , safe, Store always looking clean and well maintained. Recently during the week of 10/27/25 the store was closed down for a couple of days due to Rat infestation. Although they are currently open now!β

βI love this market. They are all very personable, and the store has a little bit of almost everything. I like supporting the small, family owned businesses like this one. Always friendly, and if they don't carry something, and you ask about it, it'll be there the next time you go in. Great service. They also have a small food counter where you can order made-to-order lunch. 5 stars all around for this market.β
βIt was our first time shopping here, we purchased a few fruit and vegetables. We also purchased Dubai Pistachio Praline milk chocolate. The taste was ok. The texture of the inside was a little different,β
βI have shopped at many Smart & Final stores for items I cannot find at Costco for work, such as disposable flatware, Marathon folded paper towels, certain sweets and snacks, etc. This location has the friendliest team, by far, that I have encountered. You can tell by the way they greet customers and how customers greet them, like they are greeting a close friend. Everyone is kind and helpful, the store is clean, and it is a pleasant store to shop in.β
βLiquor and snacks. Small selection of groceries. Lots of ice cream selections.
We tend to stop her once or twice a week. Very clean and friendly workers.β
βI like to go there because everything looks fresh. I can't think of anything bad but the high prices, but that's everywhere so ... You can find almost everything there and the employees are nice.β
βThis is my favorite place to buy my drank because: 1) Lowest price on Fireball. 2) Staff is very friendly. 3) The store is always clean & organized with a good selection of products.β

βSam is a good guy who is always up for a friendly chat. Prices aren't the best, but being such a convenient location, along with the pleasant atmosphere, I dont mind. I stop in one to three times a week.β
βWe deliver fuel to Bonfire Market #27A, and itβs always a great experience. The staff are very nice, polite, and easy to deal with β even the owner is super friendly and helpful. The store is always clean, well-organized, and has a welcoming atmosphere.β
βRemoved almost all homeless and the prices are amazing and even the nice employe but dont know about the other ones but yeah my favorite corner store😅β
βCheapest gas in Fairfield and Vacaville. Employees are very nice and polite. Lines can get really long depending on what time of day you go. They also take EBT. The lines get very long because this gas station usually has the cheapest gas in Fairfield. Get there by 6am and you probably won't have to wait.β
βIt's a good store but someone really needs to train the people working in the deli to slice roast beef, pastrami, etc.. ACROSS the grain! This is the 3rd time I've ordered roast beef and just my luck, each time they had to open a new package. They sliced it, I got home and it was sliced WITH the grain. Long fibers, stringy, chewy... for $19 a pound? NO! Nobody slices meat like that.β
βPretty sketchy area but the employees customer service is top notch. Once I left my cell phone in the cart in the parking lot and called the store from home and found out one of the employees pulling the carts in found my phone. Thank you for their serious customer service!β
βI've recently went on behalf of my wife and while the store was busy, I can tell the staff tried to stock as much as they could and I appreciate their effort.β
βI found an item that was out of stock at another Raley's, but found it here. The bathroom is in the back of the store and you have to get someone to let you in. Also, I bought Claritin, which is located by the pharmacy and had the ticket for it. I waited until they got back from lunch and was told I had to take it to the register. The sign did say that, but didn't specify if it was up front or at the pharmacy register.β
βThese guys put up with a lot of disrespect everyday from people that are of the same background, creed, and or ethnicity as myself. (Im an English speaking white guy born here)Iβm embarrassed at times witnessing this behavior from my peers. And yet it is tolerated with far more grace than I could afford because I would not put up with that behavior for one second. Treat others how you want to be treated! Every time I walk in their door, I wear a smile and receive the same back at me. ?Much respect gentleman. Thank you for your patience to those who arenβt so enlightened yet.β
βNew self-service is not a welcomed change. I hate to see this story go there.
Update: Went yesterday on their busy Friday. Only check stands open were self checkout and the 10 or less. Did not feel welcome with my full basket.β
βAbsolutely love the variety of tasty Finds here. From dinner to snacks. Salads and sandwiches for lunch. The continual selection of new items makes me look forward to each trip.β
