“Trader Joe's is our every week store, but they are constantly discontinuing our favorite products. If they don't stock it anymore, it's "seasonal." Great wine selection and you've gotta try their frenched pork chops. The checkers? The greatest!”

“A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference. -- Eeyore I so love it when a business does everything so well that I'm able to write a High Five-star review. Cousins who live in Folsom, California had contacted us to rave about this Indian grocery store, so off they took us for a try out. Here's a nifty oasis of sensory pleasure with aromatic foreplay for the taste buds Service staff graciously answered all our questions promptly which made a good first impression. Did what they're in business to do Has average prices, food that enriches life, a happy selection of spices, and fresh ingredients Customer service was above-average. I had my Happiness-Is-Homemade list in hand. An employee spotted it, walked over, introduced themself, offered to show me where everything is, and walked me around to each and every ingredient on my list. That earned 'em another review star for going beyond what they're in in business to do. The owners of this business like their Freedom so they have a Military and Veterans Discount as a thank you to Veterans with a publicly disclosed daily Veteran Discount which provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. That earned 'em another review star for going beyond what they're in in business to do. Truth is the highest virtue, but higher still is truthful living. --Sikh Guru Nanak. Something snollygoster George Santos lacks. This business: Charged the prices posted Delivered what they advertise Place was clean and organized Ambiance was professional No one here offered to commit fraud to reward us, pay us or compensate us for posting 5 star reviews of this business. We left happier than we arrived. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. --Mother Teresa I'll be back. For my Customer Rule is: Always patronize again a business that has treated you well AND supports Veterans and Active Duty with a publicly disclosed daily Military and Veterans Discount. In her role as Executive Director of IAVA, Jaslow led national campaign to increase recognition of, and support for, women Veterans. The "She Who Borne the Battle" campaign boldly targeted the Department of Veterans Affairs' woman-exclusive motto. Jaslow--a passionate fighter for the rights, protections and well-being of women GIs and Veterans, said, "The VA's own motto still excludes women: "To care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan." Not only does the motto exclude women Veterans, it also fails to acknowledge survivors of women killed in action. Congress and the Administration refuses to modernize the VA motto. I'm very committed to being seen and heard, so that our nation supports women Veterans and women in the military as we ”

“Grocery outlet is the best priced grocery store on earth , they make all other stores look bad ... Now when I go to a regular grocery store I hear O Dog saying "break yo self foo00" in my head while I'm shopping”

“It's an interesting place to shop. Kind of between whole market and trader Joe's. Doesn't have the usual name brand stuff, and certainly a decent amount of product specific to the chain. Nice variety of produce, deli, and health foods lean.”

“You can find bags of spices here, and there's an entire aisle of individual curry boxes! I bought sesame seeds, mustard powder, Hakka instant noodles, and a Hakka stir fry seasoning mix. Fun to browse. Indian snacks (Chaat); huge bags of beans, flours, and rice; refrigerated mango lasso; chutneys; and attractive produce (i.e., potatoes, carrots, chili peppers, garlic, ginger, mint). Cashier and customers were friendly when I asked a question what bitternut leaves were.”

“In general, this is a well maintained and stocked store. They have a large selection of everything you need, and for some reason, a huge inventory of various in-house packaged olives...can't imagine they sell that many. I enjoy shopping here and the self checkout is reliable and fast.”

“Neat, clean, well laid out and large Winco location that's open 24hrs. No complaints about this location, it's in a nice area and all the staff were helpful.”

“Grocery Outlet in general is kind of hit-or-miss on their products, but this one has nice employees and is pretty organized and tidy. Selection varies a lot, so it's always a wild card what you may find. I've gotten lump crab meat (which was an awesome steal for $12.99 compared to around $30 at Whole Foods), grass fed ground beef, Amy's frozen dinners, Annie's snacks for the kids, Blue Buffalo dog food, and other premium random finds. Definitely don't shop here if you have specific items in mind (for example, they didn't have ricotta cheese or lasagna sheets today), but that being said, it's still worth checking out. I do usually pass on the produce, because it's not as fresh and crisp looking as it could be. Keep an open mind and give it a try!”

“Raley's stores are a bit pricey, but their name carries with it an expected quality. This is the original grocery store in Folsom and continues to be the best. Most everyone us friendly and the store has a great layout. You won't be sad shopping at Raley's.”

“I choose to drive all the way from Galt (where I reside) to this Safeway in Folsom to have my prescriptions filled every month. The pharmacy staff is so friendly and they greet me by name every time. If my doc forgets to send something in, they are on top of it with contacting his office to get it rectified. Says a lot that I'm willing to drive almost an hour away due to their awesome customer service.”

“Our first time in and we were very impressed! We stopped for mango pulp and found three different brands, including one organic. Great selection of all types of Indian products and lots of inventory. We even found gluten-free roti! Definitely worth stopping in.”

“Very upset at the moment got hung up on the first time and redirected the second when trying to get through to my man Maverick, just wanted to let him know the Dungeness crab chips are gas.To: The manager: Maverick worked at the Safeway in Folsom and was very nice I really appreciated him working the register and would like to say he's an excellent man, he mentioned how customers would let him know how good some of the more interesting food products they bought tasted so he could try it out for himself if he heard they were good. He said that while we bought a bag of Dungeness crab chips which were really good, unfortunately we won't be visiting Folsom anytime soon and I wanted to let him know they were great, if you could let him know I said that, it would mean the world to me and my fellow Dungeness crab chip eaters, Thank you.”

“I'm a Costco person at heart, but there are some items that Sam's Club has that Costco does not. Sam's Club is definitely not as crowded as Costco, so that helps with saving time. But then again, they don't have most of the items I usually get haha.If you don't have the Sam's Club App, I highly recommend you download it. Their "Scan & Go" is an awesome feature that I didn't know I needed. You don't have to stand in line for check out. You are your own cashier, so if you feel you were over charged by scanning an item more than once, you only have yourself to blame haha. The convenience factor of their "Scan & Go" feature is a huge plus over Costco. I mean, what's really the point of the Costco app aside from showing your digital membership card haha.”

“I enjoy the lower cost grocery shopping, the medicine, toiletries, and general goods are all much less expensive here. When I lived farther, I would spend $40 in gas to shop at Walmart, and I'd still save in the end over shopping at the grass valley grocery store. Worth the time and effort for sure. Now that I live close enough to shop there regularly, I find myself shopping there 2-3 times per week. The staff costs them a star, the regular guy at the self check at the store off Riley has a smart mouth and is rude to customers when he thinks they can't hear him. Guy needs to appreciate his job, and stop assuming every time the self check triggers that customers are lying thieves... "everyone says they scanned all the items, but I always find what they are stealing " he quipped... thinking I couldn't hear him. After they realized it was in fact not stealing, he said nothing to apologize. So I let him know my displeasure of being called a thief for no reason at all, but he couldn't look me in the eye, acknowledging his mistake or even act like he could hear me. He just pretended he couldn't hear me. Don't assume folks are stealing , and certainly don't do it in a smart @ss insulting manner... because you were wrong, and when you don't apologize or acknowledge that fact, you look like a real piece of work. Just don't open your mouth to comment before you know the facts”
