I’m highly disappointed with the lack of flexibility in PODS' pricing and customer service. After booking a unit- I found a new quote online that was over $120 cheaper. When I contacted them multiple times to resolve the price difference or assist with a cancellation, I received no helpful support. Consequently, I am having to cancel my current POD and rebook a new one to secure the lower rate and save my family hundreds of dollars. They should really honor their lower rates without making customers jump through these hoops. not only rebook, but also having to take out all the contents of the unit I have now and putting them in a new pod. I am actually going to end up going with another company and have them advertised in my carpool and if my neighbors asked me what happened. I’ll be happy to share this with them.”

“This place is awesome. I had to rent a cargo van to pick up some boxes of work materials down south. I usually use the Home Depot near my house to rent Penske trucks, but they didn’t have a van. Driving the extra 20 minutes to work with these folks was totally worth it! Everyone behind the counter and in the office was completely professional and absolutely helpful! The cargo van I rented was very clean and well maintained mechanically as far as I could tell. “I had a great experience at U-Haul thanks to Duncan Vaughn and another associate at the front counter whose name I believe was Veronica.

Duncan really went above and beyond while we were renting a trailer to transport our belongings and luggage for a trip to Mexico. When he noticed that we didn’t have the necessary trailer lights hooked up, he took the time to help me figure out exactly what we needed. He even checked to see if they had the correct equipment for my vehicle and personally helped install and connect the wiring so that the trailer’s brake lights and turn signals were working properly. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help, and his extra effort gave us a lot of peace of mind before getting on the road.

I also want to recognize the associate at the front counter, whose name I believe was Veronica. She showed an impressive amount of patience and professionalism. Shortly before helping me, she had dealt with a customer who was being particularly rude and disrespectful, yet she remained calm, composed, and professional throughout the situation.

What stood out to me even more was that she didn’t allow that difficult interaction to affect the way she treated the next customer. She was still pleasant, patient, and helpful while getting my paperwork taken care of and helping me get on my way.

Both employees made the experience memorable for the right reasons. Duncan Vaughn deserves recognition for going out of his way to make sure our trailer was safe and road-ready, and the associate at the front counter deserves recognition for her professionalism and patience under pressure. I really appreciated both of them.”
