“Our SDA Church's book store has best Adventist book's from Ellen G White. Love the Brother and Sister Staff. Best Vigie food made of soy, the best. Highly recommended. God Bless You..”
“**warning: check your receipt!!! For the last 20 years. I have been going to EL MAMBI, they have salted pig tail, and butter beans and a lot of Goya's products, no-gas green bananas and other central Americans food. I wish they had salted mackerel. I am going to check to see if they have salted beef. They do have baccalo but not very good quality. I love their sweet potatoes, Ñame root . Thank the Lord that they are still operating in Glendale since this is the last Central American/ Caribbean market left in Glendale CA. ****Someone mentioned below that you should check your receipt before leaving and make certain that they do not overcharge you. I noticed they did that to me before seeing this warning and it was a lot about $15 overcharging me and now I truly believe that they did it on purpose, one of the female cashed me out and I noticed it was too high. She make me feel as if she did not clear the register from the last customer. But now I look back and realize by her response she knew what she did. *** Be careful when the females are cashing you out. It is just a shame to steal from your customers!!”

“I have to go back to shop and check it out, there much going on there, and all looks good and tasty. I meet a customer there Susan was so friendly, she was there from Rancho.”
“I really like shopping here. I would give it a 5 star only if it wasn’t so busy all the time. They have many registers, but it’s always so crowded there. I change my mind. I will give 5 star. It’s not their fault everyone wants to shop there. They have many things and usually fresh that I can’t find in other supermarkets.”
“Just wanted to give a huge shout out and express my most sincere gratitude to Rosa from the flower department! She went above and beyond, and made this incredible bouquet for my wife on. She even put a ribbon on the stuffed dinosaur :). Really appreciate you, Rosa! Thank you for all your help!”
“It's not the biggest Asian market, but it makes up for it with their own food counter. Lots of Philipino dishes from sweets to meats. Personally like the sauce section, feels more expansive than most Asian markets.”
“Busy neighborhood but Ace helped me position my truck for a street unload. Crew was quick and friendly for a New Year's eve delivery of Garbanzo beans from Idaho”

“The Glendale Jon’s is the best of all Jon’s I’ve shopped. It might be because the population in Glendale is European and they favor homestyle foods. The ready to go case had the best cabbage rolls, the tabouli isn’t soggy like other, the hummus is creamy, just to name a few items I couldn’t resist. Overall this Jin’s is my favorite location. I’ll return. Jon’s overall has a great selection of produce and bake goods and lots more.”
“Feels like a small European grocery. Produce is very fresh. Helpful staff. I much prefer shopping here and supporting small business than shopping corporate chain grocery stores. A unique selection of Eastern sweets and accompaniments. Butcher serves up fresh and marinated meats. Top notch.”
“Great neighborhood market, its owned and o operated by a pair of friendly brothers and their dad. The market is always clean they keep the place well stocked so it's ready to find what you are looking for. Each product is individually tagged with a price so you don't need to find the item tag on the shelves and try and read to make sure you are looking at the right price. They also make excellent sandwiches and their pizzas I hear are really cool. Only downside is that the parking can be a little tricky as there's only street parking and only 2 cars can park in front of the store, but if you are willing to walk 10-15 steps there is plenty of street parking.I have lived in this neighborhood for nearly 30 years, and I remember this market being there when we moved in to this neighborhood. I am not sure how long this market has been there but I remember every couple of years there would be me owners as no one could run this store. They would usually start out really enthusiastic but a year or so later you would notice the same unwelcoming atmosphere, no merchandise, half empty shelves and you would hear that the market is for sale and the same story every 2 years or so until about 5 years ago these guys bought the store. They have done an excellent job of keeping the store stocked, clean, friendly, the guy asks me about my kids every time. I certainly appreciate the gesture and from my perspective they look like they enjoy their job.I strongly suggest anyone to stop by if you happened to be near but to the neighbors who live in this area we should all make an effort to do our daily shopping for groceries from the store because not only will we be helping a store in our neighborhood grow, we will also be supporting a small business and not giving our money away to large corporations. Believe me corporations like Walmart and Kroger's and pavilions. They're going to be fine. They have a very profitable business and they make millions and millions of dollars. So with us shopping from there or without shopping from there, they're going to make their money, but for small businesses, it's up to us as neighbors to make sure that the small businesses in neighborhoods like Palmer Market and Kaffeine Coffee Shop next door grow and thrive. I am sure in return these small businesses will then do their part such as sponsor youth sports trams or help elderly residents in our neighborhood who have mobility issues by making sure they have access to nutritious meals every day.”
“Best local/Armenian grocery in town, excellent produce, nuts, cheese, fruits and bread, always fresh, family owned/operated, been coming here for last 20 years plus”
“Haykashen Market in Glendale is a treasure! They offer a great selection of authentic Armenian products, from fresh lavash and cheeses to unique products. The staff is friendly, and the store is clean and well-organized. A must-visit for anyone exploring Armenian culture or looking for quality goods! ?? ??

“Hands-down for the bulk item that you get their prices are much better than Ralphs. Ralphs prices have gone up at least 25% in the last two months. They have a very big selection majority of what you need and stuff you didn’t realize you needed. It’s fairly quick it’s very clean since remodeled, especially and, I’m satisfied”
“Glenoaks Meat Market got the best marinated meat ? for BBQ, they got really good koobideh meat, Kabab, lamb chop, chicken kobab and a lot of other good stuff !!! They also got fresh vegetable and bread !!! If you live in the 818 area this is the place where you get your meat from !!!”
“Guerrero Market has terrific food! Tacos and tamales are $2.50 each, and the tacos are loaded with meat. Tamales were delicious as well - would definitely come back and order en masse for Christmas. Everything comes with green salsa, which was good enough that I'd drink it straight. Also ordered a cup of champurrado ($2.50 as well), which was yummy -- though too sweet for me to order again. Definitely a great hole-in-the-wall. There's three small tables in store if you want to dine in. There's a small dedicated lot for parking. Not many high traffic businesses in the plaza, so it's an easy time.”
“Excellent grocery store and very clean. They have a great variety of food from all different types of countries. The service is excellent. The staff is very knowledgeable. The staff are very helpful and they're great at recommended recommending items. The store has hard to find items from various countries.”
“The store is located in LA and so delivery is not possible (San Diego). We were first introduced to salmon bellies...smoked of course. These are sold out at their store but our local store called Vine Ripe carries them. Simply delicious...last week they were on sale for 7.99 a pound. You can get similar products on Amazon which of course delivers...so if you live in San Diego look out for these yummies...tasty...no bones...light smoke flavor...and just a great appetizer with cream cheese....Another location is Whole Foods and Frasier Farms...trust me if you love salmon like we do this is the caviar of smoked salmon....(bellies)....”
“The produce is excellent and the bakery is very good as well. They also have a comprehensive dairy section and an impressive selection of coffee. The parking lot, however, feels like a demolition derby. Even though the store was busy, it was surprising that every space in the large lot seemed to be taken. They also carry a great selection of wine, although it’s a bit oddly organized on the shelves.”
“Awesome local store that has a huge variety of stuff for sale including lottery. The drive thru is a super convenient plus that I really didn’t take advantage at first but now I love it. Whenever I’m on the area and need a drink this is my go to spot. If you are ever in Glendale you know where to go for the best snacks”
“Very nice people and very helpful. Always offer to carry the heavy groceries to the car. Been shopping here for years. I love that it's right down the street and it's easy to go in and out quickly.”
“I love S & F! The store is clean, floors are waxed and the shelves are full and neatly stocked. Add to that, the people who work at the Glendale location are friendly, engaging, and very helpful. My favorite is Demarco. By accident, I left my wallet at his register, and as I was walking back into the store to retrieve it several hours later, I bumped into him as he was leaving. He immediately turned around and walked with me back to the register and got it out of the cash register drawer where it was carefully placed for safekeeping...a couple of friendly fist bumps and I was headed home, filled with both relief and gratitude! THANKS!”

“MICK is so helpful. He not only manages the front desk, but he also helps at checkout as needed and also has carried my cases of water for me to my car. I much appreciate the fast excellent service at this whole Foods store In Glendale.”
“Very friendly, family owned bussiness. They are very helpful to our community. I know rhem more than 30 years. Fresh quality products and meat. Great costumer service. Blessings. The best Market in Glendale.”
“The sandwiches are delicious and meat department has the best meat. However, the ladies preparing the food are extremely slow. I waited almost 30 minutes for a sandwich and there wasn't a cashier either”

“Referred to this store by my neighbor for some authentic Armenian and Russian groceries. Can't believe this place has been here for like 30 years and I didn't know about it. Super cool spot with a lot of really great middle eastern, Russian, and I guess Ukrainian products. They've got all the regular grocery items but they've also got a bunch of stuff that I didn't know existed. Huge selection of chocolates, spices, deli meats and cheese, a bunch of desserts, caviar, canned foods, a bunch of different breads from all over the world. Pretty cool - I would definitely suggest taking a look at this place. Staff was nice, super warm atmosphere, and I think one of the older guys that was working there might have been the owner. Not sure but everyone was cool. I went in around 10:00AM and they weren't super busy so that might be a good time to go.”
“Loved it, I haven't been here in few years, previously this store was not as welcoming. However, when I walked in today I was surprised. Wow! What a difference, new management/owners did a wonderful job of restoring, remodeling and making it to a store that actually accommodates the neighborhood with produce necessities. Clean, nicely organized, fresh and offers a lot of variety fresh and homemade food. Absolutely loved it and will for sure come back when in the neighborhood. Nice surprise, really happy to see this nice change and reasonable prices. Keep it up.”
“First time visiting Voskevaz Market yesterday - Welcoming friendly staff, fresh produce and very well stocked. One stop shopping very pleasant experience - highly recommend! Hasmig Lia Kazandjian ?”
