“I recently explored Narenj Mediterranean grocery, and it's a hidden treasure for anyone with a taste for Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine. This place has it all—a diverse array of food products that transform your shopping trip into a culinary adventure. What sets Narenj apart is its commitment to top-notch quality. “I have been to many Indian grocery stores and this is The One. Amazing selection of items in a clean, organized space. I could spend all day here just perusing. The marinated chicken is delicious, and they have both spicy and mild options. They also have a great selection of fresh produce, including okra, which is hard to come by elsewhere. The other reviews here are unanimous about the excellent customer service, and I wholeheartedly join them in this praise. I was immediately greeted with kindness and assistance, and felt very welcomed. Their pride in their work is evident. This store is deserving of all the praise it receives. Looking forward to returning again and again.”

“Yesterday, I stopped by to pick up a few things. The cashier instantly reminded me of one of my besties who unexpectedly passed away 3 weeks ago. The cashier is blonde, beautiful and has a big smile and happy personality, just like my friend. I don't remember how the conversation started but I know I started crying. The cashier offered me a fresh bouquet of flowers and her coworker went and picked them out for me, and gave me a hug. I cried harder. This sweet gesture from these women meant the world to me. #customer4life # thankyou”

“Trader Joe's is our every week store, but they are constantly discontinuing our favorite products. If they don't stock it anymore, it's "seasonal." Great wine selection and you've gotta try their frenched pork chops. The checkers? The greatest!”

“Perfect fresh fruits and vegetables. Very mind full of the customers. They went beyond helping us even after they closed the shop at the end of the day. Much respect for their respect and attention to the customers”

“I love this place so much. My kids love this place and the sweet owner. We go there regularly with our empty containers. We use old orange juice jugs for laundry detergent, peanut butter jars and spaghetti sauce jars for dishwasher powder, etc. We've been to many refilleries in different states, in Auburn, in the Bay, and this is the best one yet. They have pantry items, cleaning supplies, beauty stuff. Wide assortment, which is not common to find in refilleries!!! Highly recommended!!”

“I love this corner liquor store. The employees are ALWAYS decent-not cold and snobby like it often is with liquor store personnel. They have decent prices. They have my favorites: fairly priced ice, Sierra Nevada Beer, good price on giant BuzzBalls, and excellent price on motor oil. All my regular needs!”

“Great grocery store and deli. Yesterday I was buying lunch for three so I got a gyro plate, chicken kabob plate, and a vegetarian plate. All came with flatbread, fluffy saffron rice, hummus, a delicious eggplant-pepper side dish, and a spicy pickle. Unlike some other local places the food is not greasy, just fresh and tasty. Pro tips: The menu is posted on the very back wall, so head all of the way to the back to order. Ignore the "daily specials" messaging, they'll make you anything you want any day of the week. Order first, then shop. Everything is made to order, so it will take about 20 minutes to get your food. They'll eventually bring your food to the front counter where you pay. Grocery shopping: All of the breads are great, but check for freshness. You can usually tell what bread is fresh that day. Halva butter is amazing on toast, as are the jars of "nuts in honey." Huge selection of sesame cookies, all of which are good. Great selection of spices, olives, pickles, figs, rice, cous cous, frozen meats, and deli meats.”

“A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference. -- Eeyore I so love it when a business does everything so well that I'm able to write a High Five-star review. Cousins who live in Folsom, California had contacted us to rave about this Indian grocery store, so off they took us for a try out. Here's a nifty oasis of sensory pleasure with aromatic foreplay for the taste buds Service staff graciously answered all our questions promptly which made a good first impression. Did what they're in business to do Has average prices, food that enriches life, a happy selection of spices, and fresh ingredients Customer service was above-average. I had my Happiness-Is-Homemade list in hand. An employee spotted it, walked over, introduced themself, offered to show me where everything is, and walked me around to each and every ingredient on my list. That earned 'em another review star for going beyond what they're in in business to do. The owners of this business like their Freedom so they have a Military and Veterans Discount as a thank you to Veterans with a publicly disclosed daily Veteran Discount which provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) and GIs (rare one-half of one percent of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans and GIs' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. That earned 'em another review star for going beyond what they're in in business to do. Truth is the highest virtue, but higher still is truthful living. --Sikh Guru Nanak. Something snollygoster George Santos lacks. This business: Charged the prices posted Delivered what they advertise Place was clean and organized Ambiance was professional No one here offered to commit fraud to reward us, pay us or compensate us for posting 5 star reviews of this business. We left happier than we arrived. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. --Mother Teresa I'll be back. For my Customer Rule is: Always patronize again a business that has treated you well AND supports Veterans and Active Duty with a publicly disclosed daily Military and Veterans Discount. Jaslow--a passionate fighter for the rights, protections and well-being of women GIs and Veterans, said, "The VA's own motto still excludes women: "To care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan." Not only does the motto exclude women Veterans, it also fails to acknowledge survivors of women killed in action. Congress and the Administration refuses to modernize the VA motto. “Beat lamb chops in town. Hands down. This place is a store that opened up a little restaurant type style in the back. It is very informal and that one time had no covering at all. It’s simply on the side of the building however, don’t let the setting for you. Some of the best meat, rice and salad I have ever had.I’ve been coming off anon for the last year, and I believe they are open only Thursday through Saturday but you can’t go wrong with any of the food.I’ve never ate at a place where anything the brain is amazing. For dessert go with the baklava. some of the best in town. The fish is also very good, but the lamb chops are like no other.”

“This is my favorite grocery outlet by far. Most grocery outlet don’t have a fully stocked NOSH section. This means you can find lots of different gluten-free or vegan or organic products at a fraction of the cost. The store is exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly. They also have a good meat section but make sure you eat it as soon as possible.”

“This grocery store deserves a solid 5 stars! It's relatively new but impressively well stocked. The checkout experience was unexpectedly delightful - the cashier not only efficiently scanned my items but also played along with my 5-year-old's silly antics of pretending to slip and fall like the wet floor sign. Her cheerful engagement made the trip not just about groceries but a memorable experience for my kiddo. Can't wait to go back for both the well-stocked shelves and the friendly vibes!”

“You can find bags of spices here, and there's an entire aisle of individual curry boxes! I bought sesame seeds, mustard powder, Hakka instant noodles, and a Hakka stir fry seasoning mix. Fun to browse. Indian snacks (Chaat); huge bags of beans, flours, and rice; refrigerated mango lasso; chutneys; and attractive produce (i.e., potatoes, carrots, chili peppers, garlic, ginger, mint). Cashier and customers were friendly when I asked a question what bitternut leaves were.”

“I moved to the Fair Oaks village 3 years ago and I visit Super Quick at least once per week, usually in a desperate attempt to find a missing ingredient and save myself a trip to the grocery store. Let me tell you - this place has it all! Some of the random things I've gotten here: potatoes, limes, cottage cheese, ground cumin, buttermilk, 6oz of sac blanc for cooking, and onions. Gary is a super nice guy, and always willing to help. Also have a really good selection of alcohol, beer, etc.”
